About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.

About: I do work full-time, but am home in the evenings. I LOVE animals, but do not feel that I have the time needed to be a 'full time' caregiver. This is perfect for my lifestyle! I would treat your pet like a part of my family. I've always had dogs growing up and love having them as companions. I would walk your pet in the mornings and evenings. About: I’ve been passionate about working with dogs since I was 11, when I began training my own dog, Oliver, in both obedience and agility at B&D Creekside. I’ve continued training and competing in agility for the past seven years. I worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel tech throughout undergrad seasonally and for several months post-grad at 2 different clinics. About: I’ve walked dogs since I was 12. I’ve had my own pets for 5 years now. I have experience with puppy and kitten care. Currently have a dog and a cat. I’m in college Monday and Wednesday 9-4/Tuesday and Thursday 9-2. I am free all weekends and most evenings. I can do overnight care if requested. I have a long lead for my backyard. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
