About: I’ve taken care of many different types of animals for 8 years now! I have experience mainly with dogs and cats but have also taken care of reptiles and fish as well! I have experience in walking pets, giving medicine, and pretty much any other tasks you need done! About: Animals have been my passion since I was young. I have volunteered at animal shelters along with rescuing my own dogs and cats from shelters and from the street. About: For the past 3, years I have stayed over at a family friends home and watched their dog. I have also watched my neighbors dog before. My family does not have a dog, so I love being able to spend time and give love to someone’s else when they are not able to! My best friend has a cat and dog. Whenever she works crazy hours, I will go over and feed her pets for her and take her dog on a walk. I am currently a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My class on thursday does not start until 2pm so I am available in the mornings. I work part time at walmart. At walmart I work Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7-4 so I am available after that. Other than that, I am pretty much available whenever! When at someone’s else’s home, I keep an eye on their pet so that way I know where they are at and that they are not getting into any trouble. As previously stated, my family does not own any type of pet. However, I have watched dogs before for family friends and neighbors.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I grew up with cats and because we were never allowed to have a dog, I would take care of dogs in the neighborhood. I would dog sit, walk them constantly, and would even bathe them. When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian. However the thought of having to put an animal to sleep, kept me from fulfilling that lifelong dream. With a Golden Retriever of my own, who I adore and older Shih Tzu and a cat my life is full. About: I have grown up my whole life with a dog just until very recently. When my dog passed away, I started offering my services around my neighborhood and continued to connect with our furry friends by walking them around the neighborhood. About: I’m that lady you invited to the barbecue but will find her socializing in the corner with your pet! I have farm, kennel, pet store, dog training, as well as over 35 years of personal pet care experience. I am dog and cat First Aid/CPR certified, can give medications with ease, administer shots, and have disabled and geriatric pet care experience. Pawsitively Faithful Pet Sitting is my in-home business, but my primary job is also a work from home career with UPMC. That being said, I am always here for your furry friend's around the clock care 😊! Currently I have a Boston Terrier named Brixy, and he is my joy. He’s very well behaved but because he is special needs (medically speaking), he remains in my office when we have any pet visitors stay with us. There’s never a shortage on love or playtime in this house! I keep plenty of extra supplies on hand (bowls, toys, treats, etc) and have an "air-tight" fenced in yard along with tie out cables of all different sizes to accommodate your pet if you have extra concern and wish me to use one. I can not even begin to imagine how nerve wracking it must feel to leave your pet in the care of a complete stranger and for that I can empathize! Words can never express the level of my reassurance to you that your little one will be looked after as if they were my very own in every protective and motherly manner possible. ***Please understand, this is a legitimate and legally run pet sitting business for me. In the state of PA, (even if you're only watching one dog), you must have a kennel license and pass a very detailed inspection with the local dog warden. I have passed this inspection but it is a 100% PA State requirement that if your pet stays in my home, you must provide me with a copy of proof of their rabies vaccination or exemption. Without this, I could receive a massive fine if they drop in for a surprise inspection of my home. With a work from home career, I have plenty of time to devote to your pets care in my house. Keeping a perfectly executed schedule for them to go out, exercise, eat meals, snuggle, etc. is very important to me. I have my pet sitting routine down to a science! Generally, when they wake up, I take them out to the fully enclosed, fenced yard and either let them run, or I will use a tie out cable (I have all sizes) if the pet parent likes me to use one for extra safety purposes. Then we eat breakfast and settle in so I can start my work from home job. Throughout the rest of the day I will take breaks to let them outside every couple of hours, and spend time giving them love, attention, and playtime. My shifts end at 2:30pm, and depending on the weather, we usually go outside to play fetch or just enjoy some sunshine. Around 5 or 6pm, they get dinner and we start to wind down for the evening with some relaxation time watching Turners Classic movies 😄. There is another potty break before bed around 8 or 9pm at which point we usually call it day.

About: Hi there! My name is Melissa, and I have never met a fur baby that didn't take to me quickly. Our little family includes quite a few very friendly, well behaved, and super spoiled fur (and a few non fur) kids. Our 'mini zoo' as we call it, is home to our 2 dogs, Benji (Shichon) and Cheza (white German Shepherd); 2 rabbits Khaleesi (lion head), Jack (Russian dwarf); multiple aquariums, 2 whites tree frogs Mel and Gibson; an axolotl named Niko; three cats Kira, Lilly, and our "foster fail" 2 yr old Salem! (Phew, i told you it a zoo! Haha) Any time new dogs are at our home, we keep the cats in a separate closed off part of the house, so don't worry if cats make your fur baby a little excited. Our home is filled with lots of love, treats, and toys (more than likely one or two will make it's way home with you haha) I have had dogs my entire life. I spent 7 years volunteering at our local animal shelter walking and training dogs before they found their forever homes. Working with dogs of every size, from all walks of life, has prepared me for pretty much anything I could encounter. Even though being a full time wife, brand new mom, and mini zookeeper keeps me very busy; I am still left with a lot of love in my heart for all living creatures. So now that my mini hiatus for maternity leave is over, it's time to get back into spending as much time with 'all the dogs (or cats, bunnies, chickens, birds, ect)' as I possibly can. Whether that is done by walking, stopping to visit them while they are home alone, having a fun doggy daytime party in my home, or having them stay for a slumber party, I am totally game. I am, and have always been the go-to person for all of my family & friends when they need someone to take care of their fur family. I am often told that they admire how much I love their pets as my own... which pretty much means I spoil them all with immense amounts of love, but I just can't help it! But I promise that I can guarantee I will do the same for yours. I am currently a full time wife and new mom, so I am home full time! My husband also works from home, and is usually available to give me a hand when he needs a mental health break throughout his work day. And what's a better mental health break than spending time with dogs? In our opinion, nothing! We already are caring for our own, so a couple more are just a bonus. So this means that your pets will have constant love, and plenty of opportunities to exercise. In my home we have 3/4 acre of land. Our yard is partially fenced for the time being (will be fully fenced in this fall). All visitors to our home have access to our enclosed porch for some relaxation and sunning. For potty breaks and outside exercise a high grade durable yard lead is available, but not used with escape artists, or small dog breeds. Dogs are never left unattended outside at any time. Escape artists, extra strong doggos, and small breed dogs will be leashed and additional precautions will be discussed in advance with you.

About: I currently work a hybrid schedule with Carnegie Mellon and I love having a canine companion to explore the outdoors with! I was raised with a variety of large dog breeds in the home and worked at Beaver County Humane Society throughout college. For drop-in visits in your home, please provide me with specific care instructions and how your animal(s) prefers to be interacted with (lots of love or do they keep to themself, specific feeding requirements, etc.) For stays in my home: I have a large home and yard with plenty of room for play and naps. Smoke-free living space where cuddling on the furniture is encouraged! Potty breaks are usually as often as needed since I'll be home throughout the day on most days (I will provide my schedule during your pet's stay with me). I use a tie in the yard for bathroom breaks and outdoor running since my yard is unfenced, though leashed walked can also be used if your dog prefers that. I have never used a crate for any of my animals, please let me know if your pet is more comfortable with one. I've also owned/cared for horses, birds, snakes, chinchillas, iguanas, goats, pigs, and a variety of other mammals. Frequent updates and pictures will be given to you throughout your companion's stay with me. Currently unable to take any large breed dogs for boarding. My lab/collie mix does well with smaller breeds. My cats interact well with dogs since they have been raised with one. My dog is on Frontline, and I require an active flea and tick prevention method be used for your pet as well. I work a hybrid schedule (remote about 3 days/week), so potty breaks and walks can occur at nearly any time throughout the day, depending on your pet's needs. If your dog needs a crate for comfort and "their space," please bring their own for use. I have an unfenced yard so leashed breaks and outdoor ties will be used.
