About: I was in 4-h as a child showing dogs for 5+ years. I did everything from grooming my own animals to training them. I grew up around all sorts of animals and havent found one I didn't like! Am looking to mostly keep my schedule during school hours Monday through Friday and open most anytime on the weekends. I would be willing to work with people outside of those hours too. We have 2 big friendly dogs at the house with a large fenced in yard. I am a stay at home mom at the moment giving me good amount of time to play and walk with the animals.
About: I am not your typical pet-sitter. I have spent my entire life caring for all types of animals. My first job was at a pet store learning the skills of working with animals and their people. After college I worked as a zookeeper where I cared for everything from mealworms all the way to rhinos. Specialized care was the name of the game there and I was able to recognize the smallest details on how to improve my work with exotics. Then I was led into the world of shelter work. Where I studied pet behavior and early signs of stress and how enrichment can help save lives. Many animals coming into the shelter would need some form of medication as well. I have a skillset of administering medications and making sure the animals actually receive their meds. Lastly, I was a dog training apprentice. I was able to form bonds with dogs that most people wouldn't come near. I can read body language well and know how to show dogs respect. I aim to be your go-to pet-sitter where you can actually enjoy your trip. I will make your pet my priority. I have an excellent ability to find balance in my schedule. You can trust that your pet is cared for how you want them to be. I have quite a few pets in my home and all are well cared for. I will offer the same care to the animals you care for. I will ask for detailed instructions and follow your schedule as closely as I can.

About: Hii! I’ve grown up with many different animals; including rabbits, birds, cats, dogs, ect. I am an animal lover, but having my own isn’t an option for me right now. I currently work full-time and am a college student, however I have a flexible work schedule and enjoy spending extra time with animals. I’d love to spend some of my free time taking care of your fur babies. I’m open to any ideas, but I’d love most to drop by or even walk your pet. I’d love to come to your own home where your pet is already comfortable. I do live in an apartment so my home isn’t an option unless well planned ahead of time. I do have family that lives on a lake and have no problem taking your pet there and spending time there with him/her. It’s a lot of land on acres for any dog to play😊

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my hands-on experience and deep, personal connection with dogs of all ages. With over three years of experience, I’ve been trusted by clients and family alike to care for their pets—whether it’s energetic puppies needing structure and training, or senior dogs who require patience and gentle attention. I’m already used to structuring my days around the needs of pets, from early morning potty breaks to evening playtime or check-ins. Being flexible and dependable allows me to give each pet the attention they deserve, and I take pride in making their care a regular, reliable part of my week. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment tailored to each pet’s needs. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space with a consistent routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest—just like I do for my own pets. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect their routines and preferences, making sure their pets stay comfortable with minimal disruption. “Nikki has been great with my young dog. She has walked/dropped in to check on him during two separate occasions when he was healing from surgery or other procedures from the vet. She is great about sending updates for when she is on the way to my house and on my dog’s mood that day. She is very good at reading him and judging whether he wanted to walk that day or just hang out in the backyard. I recommend Nikki for drop in visits or dog walks.”
