“Lindsey and Bob are the best. My dog is very friendly but a lot to handle because he has high exercise needs. They do a great job not only taking care of him but also he has a blast there playing with their dogs and family. I highly recommend them!”

About: I have had a dog my entire life. When my last one passed, my heart was broken and I haven’t been able to get another one. I watched my daughter’s dog for a year but took her back about a year ago to Idaho). I work from home and it’s very quiet without any four-legged friends to keep me company throughout the day. I would love to help you out by watching your fur baby (& I can’t lie, it would make my heart happy to do so :)) I work from home and have the flexibility to take them out for walks as needed. I walk multiple times a day & would love to share that with a dog. Because I work from home, I am easily able to give a lot of love to your fur baby so that you can relax and not worry about a thing. I will love them like they are my own!

“Lois is outstanding! So loving to Lizzy, so communicative and accommodating! Lizzy enjoyed the outdoors and Lois's other dogs. Lois kept us posted with updates and was super easy going about drop off and pickup times.”

“Practically perfect in every way. Our dog was sad to come back to ordinary life again. April was the right person for the job. She showed our dog a good time with lots of walks and just being part of the family. Sent updates to us and quick to respond . 100% recommendation and will be using her again. 10 stars!”

“Second time my kitty has stayed with Katherine and will most definitely be going back! She gives updates and sends pictures everyday. A wonderful sitter highly recommended!!!!”

About: I think dogs are good people. My dogs are family members. Our dogs passed away a little more than a year ago so we are dog sitting for family and friends. My granddaughter suggested checking out Rover and applying to dog sit. We had friends from church go on a 3 week trip and watched their golden doodle. Most gentle dog ever. I can use them for reference if needed. I consider dogs a family member. Always watching a dogs body english to make sure they are comfortable and safe. Currently retired. When dog sitting I usually take them outside once an hour. We walk routinely and when dog sitting we bring them with us. We have two walking routes. A one mile walk through our small neighborhood or go to a park close by and walk by a river. Also used to giving dogs their medication when necessary. The last dog we took care of for 3 weeks needed daily arthritis meds. Pet care to me is as natural as breathing. Always checking their water and food. When dog sitting I never let the dog off the leash. My Aussie, when he was alive, was trained to not leave the yard so a leash was not necessary. But with family dogs and friends dogs I always put a leash on. Our home is dog safe. We do not use pesticides or other harmful chemicals. Even during winter I use pet friendly ice melters for the sidewalk when necessary. As far as trust I have 40 plus years experience with dogs and friends and family trust their dogs with me. Each dog that was with me always selected their own safe spot. We kept a healthy routine of exercise and rest. I watch the dog’s body English for hints of needing rest or exercise. During the day and evening it is not uncommon for me to take them outside every hour. We use water from our water filter. If I will not drink water from the faucet then I believe nether should my dog. My dogs have their own bed. When my Aussie was alive he preferred to nap under a big plant in the living room. Our house is air conditioned for a safe relaxing atmosphere. Dogs cannot get to the trash can. No treats there.

About: I've lived with animals, big and small, my whole life. If there was a stray animal, all of a sudden it wasn't stray anymore. Recently got my first (working breed) puppy and doing everything I can to make sure he is well socialized and well behaved. This has given me a lot of insight on how to keep a dog mentally and physically challenged. We have also taken obedience classes. For mental challenges, we do training, hide and seek, and large variety of dog puzzles. For physical, we play with soccer ball, fetch, flirt pole, frisbee, we also have plenty of space for play. I would be happy to include your dogs in our day! Stay at home mom with pretty much full availability. We still need to be home pretty consistently for our 7 month old pup. Would just request information on crating options in case it fell on grocery day and I need to leave for an hour, but majority of the time, I am home! I care for your pet based off your given expectations. I'm home most of the day, so if you'd like me to follow a very specific set of instructions, I can do that. I know how important routines are for dogs and I can try my best to keep your dog on their routines. I will only accept dogs that have a chance to meet my dogs first, at a meet and greet. My dogs are friendly and the pup is certainly playful, so if it is a good fit, they will all have a lot of fun together! I can only accommodate care in my own home as I have small children. Children and pets are never left alone without my supervision (whether its your pet or my pet) for all parties safety. Please let me know anyway I can make you feel at ease, with updates, pictures and videos, or anything else you can think of.

“Madeline is great with our Frenchie. We have used her to watch him several times now. She communicates easily and lets us know how things are going. He has a great time and we know he is well cared for.”

About: Hi everyone! Our names are Karen and Chad and we’ve always had a love for dogs since childhood. The thought of caring or rescuing a dog has always been top of our minds. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. Since we lost him, we’ve wanted to continue helping/caring for dogs and can’t think of a better way then helping others with their fur animals. We know the working world doesn’t always accommodate balancing out caring for our fur friends and work and would love to help with that! Please chose us to care for your fur friends whether it’s a walk or a overnight stay in our home! We will treat them with the utmost love and care! We are available for stays and walks in our home from Thursday until Sunday night. We work from home Thursday and Fridays so can walk them whenever needed! We have a nice back yard but do not currently have a fence (at this time). We can walk the dogs in our backyard with a leash and or take them to nearby parks. We do have a dog bed and dog water/food bowels with plenty of space in our 2200 sq.ft home.

“Melissa did an amazing job with our pup! She was loving and caring and went above and beyond to care for our beagle baby while we were away. She was very understanding and accommodating for us. Definitely booking with her again!”

“Ali is a fantastic host! She provided many very appreciated updates during Mina’s stay, particularly in the beginning letting me know how she was settling in! Ali has two precious dogs herself & they became very fast friends with my dog! I could tell Mina was well loved & well exercised while she stayed! Ali even did an arts & crafts with Mina, sending her home with the cutest canvas & other goodies!! Highly recommend having your loved one stay with her family!”

About: With a passion for dogs that runs deep, I have hands-on experience training my Belgian Malinois, Eddie, for IGP and my Doberman, Moses, for basic house manners and obedience. Our adventures often lead us to hiking trails, where we bond, have fun, and enjoy the great outdoors together. My love for dogs has been a constant throughout my life, shaping my experiences and creating cherished memories with many dogs. As a dog sitter, my deep love for dogs has always been a significant part of my life. I enjoy dog sitting from my home because I work from home with a highly flexible job, enabling me to monitor the dog closely and provide constant care and attention. While dog sitting, I prioritize personalized care for each pet. With a fenced yard, dogs can enjoy outdoor play while being monitored by me or lounge inside, whether they prefer energetic activities or simply lounging on the couch. During dog sitting, I ensure clients stay updated with regular picture, video and text updates, keeping them informed and reassured about their dogs well-being. Clients can reach me anytime via phone or text while their dogs are in my care, providing peace of mind and quick communication for any updates or concerns.

I do not have a crate, but if you bring one, would be happy to use it upon request.

And I will gladly take care of your dogs like they are my own! They will enjoy walks and lots of playtime! I don’t mind giving medication if needed or any special needs your dog may need.
