“I used Rover for the first time for doggy day care over the 4th of July weekend 2022 while on vacation. I chose Janel based on her excellent reviews and the fact that she was conveniently located in DeepCreek/ McHenry, MD. I also loved that the dogs had full access to her home and even allowed on the furniture. Janel and her family welcomed my 50 pound female labradoodle with open arms as one of their own. I received photo's of My girl on walks and relaxing at the house which reassured me that she was in good hands. I previously used different company in the area and when picking up my dog she was very stressed and anxious. I assumed she may have been crated for some length of time. Not a good situation for an active 2 year old. She was the total opposite when I picked her up from Janel's home. Her tail was wagging and she was in good spirits. I am very pleased and feel fortunate to have found Janel and her family. About: I have cared for and been around dogs throughout my whole life. I have always had a passion for animals! I love to run and play with dogs that have as much energy as I do or even just hangout on the couch and enjoy a relaxing day. I want to meet all of your pets needs even in last minute circumstances so that their humans can enjoy a stress free experience! Traveling and unexpected situations can be difficult and I want to make sure your pet is comfortable. I’m familiar with caring for senior dogs, puppies, and dogs with special needs. I currently make my own work schedule and have extremely flexible days. I’m always willing to adjust when needed. I love all sizes and breeds so I can accommodate any energy level as well I have a very loving and super friendly puppy of my own who would love to keep your pet company! We go for lots of walks throughout the day and get lots of time outside. I have cats as well that are very friendly with dogs but they can also be kept away in their own space if need be!

About: I decided to join Rover because my friends always contact me to take care of their pets and they say I should make a job of it :) I’ve also been a personal assistant to two families, which included staying with and checking in on their pets on a daily basis and while they were away. I’ve had a few clients over the years where I’ve taken care of their dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and other farm animals. I’ve helped run a small farm as well so if you have horses or other animals that need looked after, I’m all in! I have a college degree and manage a restaurant now. I’m very responsible, handle stress well, and have always taken my obligations very seriously. I’m trustworthy and always on time. That’s part of being a business woman :) Besides that though, I truly love animals and I’m very fond of dogs, cats, and horses. I’d love to help you out so be sure to get in touch! Fortunately, as a restaurant manager, I get to create my own schedule so I enjoy helping out families with their pets in my off time. If you need me to take your dog(s) for a walk, stop by to play with your pets, check in, potty breaks, or spending the night, let’s discuss what schedule you need. I’m very flexible and can also help with any special needs you may have such as giving meds or cleanings. Just leave me instructions and I will be sure to follow those and any other guidelines you may have. Keeping your pets safe and entertained will be my priority. About: I’m from a family full of animal lovers so I’m used to being surrounded by a lot of various types of animals. I presently own 3 dogs with my significant other, we foster from time to time, and I regularly pet sit/walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments, cats, birds, and guinea pigs (if it isn’t on the list, just reach out and we can discuss whether you feel comfortable showing me what I need to do to care for your species of pet). I honor just about any request from watering plants to bringing inside packages. If you have time, I am happy to make prebooking appointments (without charge) where we can discuss your animals routine, my experience, pricing, and other requests to decide whether you feel that I am a good fit for you and your pet(s). If you do not have time, I can also arrange video or phone calls or even just work from a note with the details I need to provide the proper care for your pet(s). I am here to help you and give you the best experience possible. I am presently pet sitting in addition to working full time. I work Monday-Friday, but I am usually remote on Mondays and Fridays. I am available all day on weekends and state holidays, and I am available in the evening or early morning on Monday through Friday. If you have a weekday request, I am happy to accommodate if you just message me. Rover doesn’t give me the option to set the times I am available so It is marked as unavailable. If you ever have any issues booking or want to inquire anways, just send me a message and I’m happy to help however possible. ☺️ I consider myself to be an honest and respectful person. I typically ask for house rules or details I should know prior to entering someone’s home. I try and stay in the view of cameras if I see them as best as possible and communicate before, during, and after the visit to ensure satisfaction with the service I provide. I understand it can be scary allowing someone to enter your home and care for your loved ones.

“Went to Fairmont for work and didn't want to leave my pup at daycare in DC for so long. Tracey was AMAZING!!! I may be the biggest worrier on the planet, but she put my mind at ease within an hour. Got so many pictures and videos of all the pups playing and eventually being worn out. Even learned that mine likes cats (I had a suspicion). About: I love animals and spoiling them is my game! I have 3 spoiled dogs. I have had my own personal animals for as long as I can remember. Each pet I look after is treated as my own. I grew up on a farm and we took in rescues of any kind. I have been taking care of puppies and kittens on bottles to seniors with shots/meds at times my whole life.
