About: I am a former veterinary assistant who has 20 years of experience caring for animals of every kind: from large and small dogs, cats, and exotics. I am an expert in rodent care, specifically mice and rats, but also have lots of experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I have cared for young puppies and kittens as well as senior animals, and am proficient with administering oral and injectable medications, as well as doing glucose monitoring for diabetic animals. I work full time during the week, but I am typically free in the mornings from 8 am to 11 am. I work the evening shift at Methodist Health Fremont and am typically done by 8:30pm. Weekend work days are rare as our weekend coverage works on a rotating basis, I will inform clients if weekend work is expected during a booking. I will always change clothes before visiting client pets in order to do as much as possible to prevent communicable diseases due to the volume of animals I work with. I am also trained in dog and cat pet CPR.

About: I have cared for many kinds of animals over the last 30 years. I would treat them as if they were my own with love. I would like to negotiate your needs, my shifts right now, are 8am-4pm in Lawrence Kansas. Depending on services being requested, I may be able to adjust my scedule. I live with my brother and sister in law, we are a 3 dog home. Dogs are very friendly with all types of other dogs. Lots of land for dogs to run. They must be well trained to be here and or walk well on a leash, there is No fenced in areas. I love to go for walks and play. Also I will research your animal and provide appropriate cares and love.

About: I have been a veterinary assistant for 5 years and grew up on a farm raising animals my whole life! I love all fur babies!! I am currently a full-time student at UNL and veterinary assistant. I can do anything for you around my small schedule of a few classes and part time hours I work. I am very respectful when it comes to other clients' homes. I make sure to follow rules and guidelines accordingly and do my best to go above and beyond.

About: Growing up on a farm I always had outside dogs like German shepherds and huskies until I convinced my parents to let me have an indoor one. That first little buddy is a morkie poo and at 8 years old is a whopping 6 pounds and a grumpy little guy. He got a friend 7 years ago, a maltipoo, who is extremely anxious and scared of most things. They both got a big sister, a mini Goldendoodle, who was trained as a service animal for deep pressure therapy. All their personalities couldn't be different from one another. I'm an aunt to a Maltipoo poo and 2 Morkies. I recently became a true dog mom this summer by my sweet mini bernedoodle, Olive. My experiences range from grumpy and smaller than a shoe, to big wild, and free. I am a full-time graduate student in a fully online master's program. I would love the opportunity to not only get out of the house and have my dog socialize with others when appropriate but to also see all the good boys and girls and take them for a stroll. I treat all puppers and doggos with the same love and care that I do my own. I do cater my behavior to complement that of a dog's personality. Giving extra love and time to anxious or senior dogs while offering energy and playfulness to the more confident ones.

Haley Z.
“Haley is an amazing pet caregiver. With experience as a veterinary technician across many types of animals, there is no better person to have watching pets. She thinks of every need and is attentive to specific details. I would trust her to take care of my cats any day.”

Sara H.
“Sara is great with animals and is super attentive and caring towards them. My dog Gypsy is a super sensitive and easily offended lab but that didn't stop Sara from friending her when we became friends in 2017. She would calmly call to her earning her trust and when my dog let her guard down they became best friends. I trust Sara with my dogs needs when I have to be out of town for a few days. She is a perfect fit to have your animal in her care!”

Kimberly H.
“Kimberly is very good with animals and takes care of dogs for me when I am not home. My dogs are always excited to see her. She has worked for a few vets, so she knows what to do in certain emergencies. I would recommend her.”

Sabra S.
“Sabra is a true to heart pet lover. She loves all doggos and is the perfect loving pet caregiver. She has watched our three dogs on many occasions and shows nothing but love and compassion.”
