About: Growing up my family raised and cared for Australian Shepherds. When I was younger I would help my dad with shots and medications until I was old enough to perform them on my own. I am great with both high and low energy dogs alike, and understand that dogs are like snowflakes, each has their own specific wants and needs. Whether you need someone to play with high energy pup or someone to keep an elderly dog company, I am your guy. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and have watched many dogs from miniature golden doodles to Great Pyrenees. I am currently doing a part-time internship, so I am free anywhere from 12:30 pm to 10 pm. My internship is pretty flexible, so if you need me earlier or later just let me know in advance and I should be able to work something out. I am experienced with walking and watching dogs, and am a firm yet gentle caregiver. I enjoy exercising and being outside, so I am more than happy to meet your pets exercise needs. I am a clean and respectful person who believes people should leave things/places better than they found them.

I can work anytime I prioritize safety, follow care instructions closely, and treat pets and homes with respect. I create a calm, trustworthy environment where animals feel secure and loved.

“Kianna is so sweet!! She is so caring of Bruce making sure to know of all his needs and habits before starting the walk, super easy to talk to as well. She used every last minute of the walk to be out with him and even sent me pictures during the walk. She really helped me get his energy out when I wasn’t feeling too good, so I would highly recommend her!!”

About: Ever since my husband and I got our own dog we just love the idea of taking care of other pets. I understand how it feels when you go places or on vacation or whatever and you cannot take your furbabies with you. This reason is why we love taking care of our friends pets when they are away. It will ONLY be myself working and dog sitting. My husband is not part of this, he has his own things to do, and he watches our own furbaby. I am a full-time student and I only have 2 days out of 7 that are in person. I am flexible most of the days. Oh my boy is spoiled but not too spoiled. I always groom my dog by myself every other day. We put him first because hes our furbaby (even though he is 6 years old). We take him on walks twice a day for 15-30mins. I always offer to groom my friends pets that we look after; only if their furbaby allows it. For my friends with cats, I usually pet the cats after I take care of their dishes (food&water) only if they allow it.

About: Hi, I'm Lillian. I’m a New England transplant who loves to hike, bike, and explore my gorgeous surroundings! I look forward to meeting your wonderful furry friend(s)! Spending time outdoors and being around animals of all kinds are things that energize me and bring me joy! I take my responsibilities as a caretaker seriously while also having fun. When appropriate, I love to take the dogs I care for along on hikes. Thanks so much for considering me for your pet care needs. I live in Logan but am able for overnight stays anywhere between Logan and Salt Lake. I work from home full-time Monday-Friday but my hours vary from week to week. Often I'm free on weekends, holidays, evenings, and during my lunch break. I live in with my boyfriend and his golden retriever who loves other dogs. If you hire me for dogsitting it will be just me, though! I'm very tidy and happy to help with little things such as looking after plants and getting mail while I’m there.

About: Hello, my name is Alexis R. and I've been around animals my entire life! I was raised in a small valley on a farm where the animals I would care for ranged from baby goats to outdoor cats to fostering rescue dogs. Growing up meant being around animals 24/7, and we all had responsibilities as kids to take part in caring for them and making sure they had the highest quality of life. My highest level of experience comes from taking care of all the rescue dogs we had come through our home. We valued every life and I know what its like to take care of all kinds of dog breeds and whatever ailments they may or may not have. On that note, I was a dog-sitter, dog-walker, and even farm-keeper for a few years in my home town as a young 15 year old, so I have experience stepping out of my own home and caring for other people's fur-babies. In short, I know my way around all that fluff-and-stuff and would love to continue this around my new home in Portland!

About: I have grown up with animals ever since I was a young child, due to growing up on a farm in the South. The farm taught me alot of experience in all types of animals ranging from big & small mammals, to reptiles & insects. I also have experience in caring for small mammals & rodents, as I have owned rats & ferrets in the past. I am currently home every day of the week, so I have a lot of free time available for your fur babies! For dogs, I like to give access to potty breaks every 2 hours, even if it means they just get a bit of outside enrichment instead of having to use the restroom. IF your pet is not friendly towards other animals, I cannot board them in my home. If it is a small pet that can be contained & is not friendly towards other animals, I may be able to board them depending on the circumstances. I AM NOT comfortable with aggressive or reactive dogs. Due to my safety, I will not be taking on ANY animals that are aggressive.

“While I was out of town for a weekend Jacob did a great job taking care of my animals. I have 2 big needy dogs and a cat that were all in safe hands for a couple of days.”

Camille Z.
“I've been using Camille to watch my dogs for almost 6 years now. My Cane Corso can be a handful and she takes care of him and my boxer with ease. Needless to say I'm still using her and my dogs absolutely love her. She takes them for walks even when it's hot out (which I hate), makes sure to feed them separately, and makes sure they're exhausted before she leaves. A few weeks ago she noticed that my plants needed watered and took care of that without asking. When she isn't available I have to use a boarding kennel and it's just not the same. My dogs are much happier when I'm able to leave them at home instead of a hot warehouse kennel.”

Dana P.Star Sitter

“She was really sweet with my big pup.”

Braydn E.
“I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care Braydn provided for my two cats and standard poodle while I was away. From the moment we met, I felt confident that my pets were in loving and capable hands. My cats, who can be a bit shy, warmed up quickly thanks to Braydn's gentle and attentive nature. And my poodle Rosie, — who has a big personality and lots of energy—was clearly well cared for, exercised, and loved. I came home to happy, relaxed pets, which speaks volumes about the level of care and responsibility Braydn brings to their work. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter. I’ll definitely be reaching out again for future trips!”

Kianna T.Star Sitter

She used every last minute of the walk to be out with him and even sent me pictures during the walk. She really helped me get his energy out when I wasn’t feeling too good, so I would highly recommend her!!”

Sione L.
“Sione is a kind, reliable, and attentive pet caregiver who truly loves animals. As a pet owner himself, he understands each animal's unique needs and personality and always goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I've seen how well he cares for his own dog, and I've witnessed Sione dog watch a friend's pets before, too. I would absolutely trust him with any of my own pets without hesitation. Any dog or cat in his care is in excellent hands! He treats any animal as if it were his own with a lot of love and care! Definitely would recommend and book again!”

Lillian D.
“Lillian D. would be an excellent dog walker for Rover. Lillian is a very kind, caring, thoughtful and reliable person, and she would be friendly with both the owners and the dogs. She loves pets and animals, and she would definitely do well by the dogs and make sure they are safe and get a full walk.”

Alexis R.
“Hello, I am writing this in regards to Alexis R. and why she would make a great candidate/member of the Rover team. I would like to first start off with the fact that Alexis Rague has grown up her entire life with dogs (and pets). There has not been a day where she has not interacted with a dog in some way. Growing up, she usually had two dogs around her, sometimes three. She would always wake up in the morning and take them for walks, sometimes she would do it later in the evening after work, but she'd always make sure they go their exercise. She also knows when not to walk a dog. She can usually tell when they're tired or sore and then will judge accordingly on what walk to take them or to not take them for a walk at all so they don't get more injured. Aside from that, she is super friendly with all kinds of dogs. She grew up with so many different breeds that she has become comfortable with all types of breeds. She currently has a Corgi which she has raised since it was a puppy, and she takes care of her dog very well. When it comes to customer service, Alexis R. has been working in the catering, food and restaurant service for many years. She is accustomed to dealing with customers and making sure that the customer is taken care of, whether it's food service or just general inquiries from the guests. She was a sous chef which requires a lot of communication capability and she has proven she can communicate very well as she rose up the ranks to sous chef. What makes Alexis R. a great person is that she is very friendly to everyone around her. She knows her boundaries, can make fast decisions and is super fun to talk to. She's very helpful, especially when it comes to animals. She grew up on a farm, so she has a good work ethic. Overall, she's a very kind, responsible, hard-working individual who I think would be a very valuable addition to the Rover team.”

Naylie B.
“I was nervous about leaving Sadie while I went out of town, but our sitter treated her like family. I got daily updates and photos, and I could tell she was relaxed and well-cared for the entire time.”

Izabel M.
“I cannot recommend Izabel highly enough! From the moment they met my pets, it was clear she has a genuine love for animals. Izabel took the time to understand my pets unique personalities and needs, providing attentive, personalized care. Whether it was feeding, playtime, or just offering comforting companionship, I always felt reassured knowing my pet was in great hands. The regular updates and photos were a wonderful touch, keeping me connected even when I was away. If you're looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and dedicated, Izabel is the best choice!"”
