“Jessica was great. She managed to get my dogs to go out in the rain (which they did not want to do!). Even my cat was comfortable with her right away and he’s usually a little skittish with new people. I will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

About: I have two dogs and a cat myself. I have always taken care of pets since I was little. I love going on walks and playing. I am currently a full time employee but I have free time on the weekends and after work to provide care to any age pets. I have a fenced in yard with two very friendly dogs and a cat who sleeps all day. I am very good about getting pets out for bathroom breaks and getting their energy out.

“Kimberly is always awesome with my somewhat difficult babies! On top of that, she’s an amazing communicator and was even happy to help with my non-animal pets (plants!) while I was away. Very happy repeat client who will continue booking Kimberly in the future :)”

About: I’ve had plenty of dogs my entire life as well as taken care of friends and families dogs. Overnight, check ins or walking. I love walking dogs especially and playing with all animals. I will provide a safe, caring, and loving environment for your pets so you’re worry free while away from them! Currently between jobs and am a full time online college student. So I am pretty flexible!! If something doesn’t work i’ll just make that clear but I do not have many scheduled things in my day to day. I don’t mind doing feeding, walking, play time! Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.
About: Hi there! My name is Sam and I have experience sitting for all types of animals. From cuddly Pyrenees, and scary-smart German pinschers, to spunky chinchillas, their best cat friends, and curious pythons. I have been through partial behavioral training for dogs (and their humans), and have experience with animal hospice situations, as well as behaviorally aggressive dogs. I prefer to keep the animal's care as consistent as possible. The more details you have of your preferred method of walking, reward, or preparation habits, the better. Trust and care are my number one goals when it comes to animal sitting. Not just with the four legged babies, but with the parents as well. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your care provider, and what a treat it is to know that you can trust someone with the care of your loved ones. Also, aren't dogs just perfect? I work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and am currently on telework, so my weekly availability is early morning, and late afternoon. I also volunteer at the Old Dominion Humaine Society and occasionally foster for them at my house. I have one <1 year old puppy, and I have a home with a large yard but no fence. That means all foster dogs get leash walked always and there are many mind teaser toys for rainy days. I feed in crates and make it a safe space for them to decompress.
About: I've had taken care of animals for over 20 plus years. Im also a certified vet assistant as well. Love all animals and would love to meet yours! I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard at my home but I do take my dogs out regularly on leash. But they also have free roam of the entire house.
“Alexis is great. She met our 3 dogs before we left for the weekend, and took great care of them. Love the pics she sent and look forward to having her watch them in the future!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have had experience with animals since I was growing up. I had a dog, a rabbit, and birds, and I currently have a cat that I love and care for. Caring for animals is more than just a responsibility to me; it is something I genuinely enjoy and have a passion for. I’m always willing to make time in my day to give animals the love, attention, and care they need. I always make an animal’s safety and well-being my top priority. I stay attentive to their needs and surroundings at all times, creating a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
