“Ken stayed at our house and watched our 5yo labradoodle. Ollie was happy and tired when we got home, which is always a good sign that he got along well with Ken and got to go in lots of walks! Ken checked in about every other day with photos, which we loved to see when we were missing our pup. Thanks Ken!”

“Krystal did a great job caring for my senior dog who has some specific medication requirements. She made she got out for walks at her favorite places. She also was very helpful with shoveling during a snowy week, which was so appreciated.”

He was very thoughtful and asked good questions during our meet and greet, kept us informed during our trip, took great care of Bailey while we were away, and left our house in excellent condition! Devon is very kind and clearly loves dogs/animals! You can rest easy that your pups are in good hands with him.”

“We are so happy to have found Keaton. We hadn't used a dog/house sitter since pre-Covid days so we were a little anxious to find someone for our quirky older dog. Keaton was a great communicator and immediately put us at ease. He handled new dog medications and surprise plumbing issues professionally and with no issues. Looking forward to booking him for future trips.”

“I recently had the pleasure of having Taylor dog and house sit for me, and I can’t recommend her enough! From start to finish, she was incredibly reliable and trustworthy. She took excellent care of my home and my dog, ensuring everything was in perfect order and Cooper was happy and well-loved. Taylor communicated regularly, sending updates and photos that put my mind at ease while I was away. I came back to a spotless house and a content pup who clearly enjoyed their time together. It’s evident that Taylor genuinely cares about animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. Thank you for the fantastic experience!”

About: Hi! I’m Robin. I will love and care for your pets as if they were my own. Please Note: I can’t offer dog walks, so I don’t petsit for dogs in condos/apartments without a secure, private yard. We used to offer petsitting on Rover in our home in Loveland until very recently and have a 5-Star review rating. Now we have too many pets of our own to host! The reason my profile says some town other than Loveland is because of the distance I offer for petsitting. I love getting away from home, especially going into the mountains or rural areas, so I am willing to drive quite far. We own 5 dogs and 2 indoor only cats. The greatest compliment we have received is that our neighbors who are moving out of the country asked us to adopt their sweet doggo that we already dogsit for. So we will soon have 6 dogs!!!! 🫠 I have experience owning large dogs (Great Pyrenees), Medium dogs (current 65# reservation mutt - Rez Dawg Rescue!), and small to tiny dogs. We currently own our 65# mutt and 4 Yorkies (we adopted a toothless old man and became addicted, lol). I also have experience with females in heat, pregnant dogs, birthing, and caring for mama and newborn litters. We had 3 cats, until our oldest died at 20, so we are down to 2. I have experience cooking food, feeding raw, syringe feeding, giving meds, and giving shots. If I have to feed raw, all meat needs to be cut and prepared in advance. If you feed the raw that comes frozen and just needs to be thawed and spooned out, I’m happy to do that. If you need food cooked from raw, all meat needs to be cut in advance and I will need to charge an extra fee for that work. I also have experience with special needs pets, including using hip straps on large breeds and hooking dogs up to wheelchairs. If your pet is incontinent to the degree that it requires me to do extra house cleaning and washing linens, I’m totally OK with that, but I will need to charge an extra fee for that work. I have owned and cared for other animals, including hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, birds, chickens, and horses. I am comfortable handling horses and large farm animals - moving, feeding, watering, stall cleaning. I’m overweight, but I’m also tall and strong. I am OK feeding and watering (not live food) critters in aquariums/habitats, but I will not handle the critters or any live food. I know bearded dragons, snakes, and spiders like to be handled and have adventures too, but I just can’t, lol. If you have more than 3 animals total or a mix of animals other than dogs, my fee is negotiable and dependent on the care levels needed, so please reach out! Rover fees don’t allow for all situations and the multiple pet fees build up quickly. I get it - we negotiate fees for our own menagerie when we travel. I am a virtual mental health counselor, so I will be at home with your pets all day. I DO need you to have good enough WiFi to meet with clients via Zoom. (Download: 20 Mbps. Upload: 5 Mbps.) I prefer to let dogs outside every 4 hours during my work day, if possible, so I’m not harried. If that won’t work for you, I will consider a different schedule on a case by case basis (like puppies!) If you are wondering why I want to petsit… I am still in my prelicensing years as a counselor and we don’t make very much money during these years. I also write books and web content, so I enjoy the opportunity to get out of my own house to write with fewer distractions. Just the good ones - pets! I have been using Trusted Housesitters for the past year to do local getaways to stay in houses with hot tubs for free in exchange for pet care. I just realized I should be petsitting through Rover and supplementing our income so I can buy my own hot tub. ;) I’m a seasoned, responsible adult with a 5-star rating on Rover and Trusted Housesitters over several years, so you can trust me with your pets. I will communicate any unforeseen issues promptly and handle them in a responsible way. If your pet has a medical emergency, I would cancel my work for the day to get them emergency care immediately. I have a Subaru Outback (all-wheel drive) that is pet friendly and can handle snow and off road driving. Unfortunately, I do not have a hitch, so if I need to haul anything larger than a dog, I would need to use your vehicle/trailer. I can drive a manual transmission (stick shift).

“We were nervous leaving our pups since it was our first time leaving the younger one, but Alison was great! She was very communicative throughout the entire process. We came home to happy pups, and our house was as neat and clean as we had left it”

About: I have over 30 years experience raising, training, fostering, foster-failing and generally loving and caring for dogs. I work from home so will be with your pet most of the time and I love to go for long walks and runs with them. I am very active (walk, run, hike...) and have a large fenced in yard and a dog park nearby to keep your pup busy and well-exercised. Most of my clients are repeat customers as they find my services truly a "home away from home" for their fur-baby. Although I am new to Rover I have several references available outside of Rover - feel fee to request any you may like to see. I work from home so I am able to let dogs out every few hours in our fenced yard. Also walk at least an hour a day. Dogs in my home are treated as (and sometimes better 😉) than humans. Run of the house and the fenced yard. Lots of love and snuggles. Lots of walks/hikes/fetch/etc.

About: Adventure buddy, cuddle pro, and dog-loving human at your service! Hi, I’m Hillary! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and I’ve never met a pup I didn’t love. I’ve owned two amazing dogs in my adult life, fostered with multiple rescues, and have been the go-to dog sitter for countless friends over the years. My current sidekick is Grizzwald — my adventure-loving pup who’s always down to explore! We hike, run, walk, swim, bike, and play our way through life, and we’d love to welcome your dog into the fun — or just keep things chill for pups who prefer lounging over lunging. We’re located just north of Silverthorne on about 2 acres of doggy bliss, with a small fenced-in area for easy outdoor hangouts. Whether your dog is high-energy or a certified couch potato, we’ve got the space, time, and love to make them feel right at home. All pups welcome — let’s get your dog on the schedule for some tail-waggin’ fun! I’ve got a super flexible schedule and am happy to work around your needs — and your pup’s! Whether you need care in the morning, afternoon, or evening, I’m here to help and can accommodate most requests. Just let me know what works best for you, and we’ll make it happen! Have leash, will travel! I have reliable transportation and can easily come to you — whether that’s for a quick potty break, a long walk, or some quality playtime. If your pup loves the dog park, I’m happy to take them for social time, or we can hit the trails for a walk, hike, or even a run! Whatever your dog’s energy level or routine, I’m here to make sure they’re happy, exercised, and well cared for. I also offer care at my home — whether it’s just for the day or an extended stay! Your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of love, space to roam, and a built-in adventure buddy (my pup, Grizzwald!).

“So glad we found Cynthia! Since she is a vet tech, I really felt more at ease with trusting a stranger with our 3 dogs who can be a handful! The dogs instantly took a liking to her and she was so sweet to them. She was very responsive and also sent us updates & cute individual portraits of our dogs! Our house and pups were happy and well taken care! And she even took them time to write us a sweet note. We would not hesitate to ask Cynthia to watch our pups in the future! Thank you Cynthia!”

“AnnaLiese was great!!! We have never left our dog with a stranger before. Our dog loved her and she spent the day hiking with him and relaxing at her house while we went to a concert. I would definitely recommend AnnaLiese.”

About: I have taken care of my own families dogs, my neighbors pets, and even my family friends pets since I was about 11 years old I work a landscaping job and I have weekends off, including most fridays! I would love to fill those days with more things, such as watching over and taking care of your pets!! :) I cater to the pets needs, whether that’s needing food, exercise, or to go outside to the bathroom, I always make sure to be on top of what the pet needs. I am respectful in clients homes and make sure everything in the home is just how they left it, if not even better. “My family and I went on vacation for 4 nights and Angelica stayed at our house with our lab and 2 kitties. We came home to happy and well taken care of pets and a house just as we left it. Angelica has been very responsive when we message her and very flexible. I felt at ease while we were on vacation. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs all my life and have always been a very active participant in their care. Once I was older I started to cat sit and dog sit for friends, and have simply always loved to spend time with furry friends. I work 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, and my weekly schedule changes from week to week. Thankfully, I generally know what my schedule is going to look like at least 2 weeks in advance if not even further out. Due to the inconsistency of my week to week schedule, I’ll make sure to keep my calendar availability up to date on here. I have no pets currently, but am well experienced in caring for animals. I’d love to spend some time with your fur babies, taking them for walks or just playing with them.

Hillary B.
“I've known Hilary for well over 15 years, and she has always been an animal lover! Between growing up with dogs in her family, to being a foster dog mom, to now having her own dog named Gris, Hilary has always showed that she is responsible in caring for her dogs. It was at no shock when I found out she was fostering dogs and helping them find homes. Hilary is extremely genuine, has a big heart, a love for dogs and the outdoors. I think that is why her companionship with animals is so strong! Any dog she has helped take care of is always out exploring, and having the time of their life. I know Hilary will be a great asset to any person or family needing her assistance.”
