“Katrine has been amazing with our 6-month old border collie puppy. Katrine comes by in the afternoon of our workdays and takes Banyan on hikes or other fun outings. She always plays with her, takes great photos of their adventures, and is very communicative. Best of all, Banyan is a much calmer and happier girl when I get home from work - I even have time to unpack my bag and decompress from the day before having to take her on her evening walk ( normally Banyan is a mad woman when I come home - so full of energy!) Katrine also asks questions that make it clear she’s being so considerate of our dog’s needs and very respectful of our home. Would highly recommend Katrine, she’s a great resource and we’ll be using her all summer.”

About: I have worked with dogs since elementary school, when I started a dog walking business in my neighborhood to pay for summer camp. Friends, family members, and neighbors, have relied on me to do tasks as simple as stop in and feed their pets, to staying with their furry friends for extended periods of time. I have also grown up with Great Danes so I know how to handle extra large dogs! I am a college student who is off for summer break, so my schedule is completely open to care for your pets, whether thats a walk a few times a week or staying over at the house for a period of time. I don't offer boarding services since I rent the space I am living in and it does not allow pets. However, when it comes to services provided in the home of the pet, I will follow any directions that are given to me to my greatest ability!

I am a pretty busy person but will always have time or make time dedicated to taking care of my cats and other pets. About: Hi! I am a second-year veterinary student and lover of all animals who would love to care for your pet. I’ve grown up with dogs and been around them my whole life! In the past, outside of Rover, I’ve done dog-walking, pet-sitting, and worked as a kennel assistant for boarding and also a veterinary assistant! I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science and I am currently in my second year of school at the Oregon State University Veterinary Medicine program. I will aim to keep your pet’s schedule as normal as possible while you’re gone. I am comfortable giving all types of medications- oral, injections, or anything else. I can’t wait to give your pup all the love, play, and attention they need! Currently, my availability is completely open during the summer until I go back to school in September- then I’ll make adjustments as needed. I consider this my full-time job. I currently do not board in my home as I have a shy cat who doesn’t enjoy having visitors often. However, I have plenty of experience doing in-home stays or visits thanks to my past babysitting job, and you can also trust me to walk your pups outside: I have walked lots of heavy pullers and reactive dogs.

About: I have grown up taking care of my pets and others for family and friends! I have grown up in agriculture, and been exposed to many different animal types like traditional farm animals, amphibians, rodents, and of course—cats and dogs. I am very easy going and any needs that your pet requires, I will accommodate! I am a graduate student, so I am more flexible than most! My schedule is variable from day to day, and I will likely be able to accommodate all of your pets needs while you are away! I am also available during the summer months! I currently live in an apartment style home with a cat. Growing up, we had a yard and we would let the animals out to play with them. I’m comfortable in neighborhood environments as well where a leash and harness are required. I love playing with the animals, giving them an extra affection rather than just the basic needs of food, water, and bathroom breaks. You will not be disappointed!

About: I grew up on a small farm and I’m familiar with taking care of a wide variety of animals! I started house sitting for others around 11 or 12 years old. No matter how specific the instructions, I aim to provide the best care possible. Currently for the remainder of summer my schedule is quite open and dedicated to house sitting/pet care. I am a college student in my last year so my availability will adjust in a couple months. I will always keep a watchful eye out for the safety and comfort of your pet. More than following care instructions I have basic first aid care knowledge in cases of emergency. Your pets care is my number one priority always.

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have professionally worked as a house/pet sitter for 3 years but I have cared for my own for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and many livestock. I have trained many of my puppies so I can handle them and have cared for many senior animals having to give them special diets and medications. My mom is a CVT and I have worked for a vet so I can handle and/or know when to call in bad situations. I will be starting school in September so I will have time between classes to care for pets. I will always make time or stay longer if a pet needs that. I make sure all animals are feeling safe wherever they may be. I make sure energetic animals get played with, shy dogs get there space, and older more lethargic dogs get there rest. I change my care based on the animal and always give them the care and love they need.

About: I have had pets my entire life ranging from cats and dogs, to lizards and fish. I have dedicated my life to caring for animals as it is my true passion. Right now I have one cat of my own, but in the past I have had dozens of cats and dogs. I have trained several puppies and absolutely love seeing their progress. I have a great understanding of animal behavior and tend to get along with even the most shy animals. I also have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs! I am currently only working part time and have plenty of free time! I have one cat of my own to care for, but I also have a roommate who cares for him, and frequently spend time away from home. About: I am excited to help with any house/cat sitting needs. I have a very flexible schedule in my current job and can accommodate special care needs. I love meeting new cats and am comfortable caring for cats with all different personalities and needs :) I typically spend 6 hours at work a day, but am totally flexible in when I start and end my day, so I am available to accommodate specific pet care needs twice a day, or am happy to house sit. I can care for pets within the client’s home- I understand cats need a lot of time and space when a new person is introduced, so I make sure to maintain a calm, peaceful environment when meeting a new cat and let them warm up to me at their own pace. About: I have taken care of and worked with dogs and cats since I was 8 years old. I've done dog and pet sitting for family, many neighbors and friends. I also have 2 years of volunteer experience with animal shelters and training centers I am not a professional trainer by any means, however if you're having trouble with teaching basic commands I can help with training. One more thing to note. My my aunt has a husky rescue and I worked with her and her association many many times over the years. I have experience in husky training, grooming and care I'm very good with the breed and similar breeds. I am currently working contract work so I am available all days of the weeks at any time. If you send me a request I will get back to you as soon as possible. I love to walk animals, especially the dogs. Lots of pets, playing, love. Course of course, if they have scheduled feeding times and potty breaks those will be taken care of. Also, any dietary restrictions or special restrictions I am open to.
