“Henna and and her fiancee Sierra were awesome with our dogs! They let us know when they were getting their medicine and sent pictures of them cuddling with their kids. Highly recommend them and will use them again!!”

“Our pup did great at Mandi’s! I didn’t have to worry at all because she sent pictures of his day and an update of what he did. She was so sweet to send him home with a personalized bandana and a jar of homemade treats! Definitely recommend!”

“This was my first time leaving Lou with a babysitter and I was nervous. Sarah made me and my girl both feel very comfortable at drop off. I received pictures while I was out of town so that I could see how well she was doing. Sarah was very attentive to Lou’s needs as an elderly dog with anxiety. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of my baby.”

“On short notice, we were invited to stay with family in the Springfield, Il area, in the midst of a cross county trip with our two small dogs. The only catch was the place we were staying didn't allow dogs. We found Tara on Rover.com and it was a perfect match! She was wonderful with our rescue pups and we were able to relax and visit with family knowing they were safe in her loving home and not stressed out in a kennel somewhere. Thanks to Tara we all ha”

“We’ve used Cynthia several times and have been very pleased. Winston goes on walks, lounges around the house or fenced in yard, enjoys the company of Cynthia’s pets and is well-taken care of. Cynthia keeps me updated with photos/texts. She’s easy to schedule with and obviously cares for animals. Highly recommend!”

About: Small dogs? Large dogs? Cats? I love them all. I have worked in the animal industry for years and I love it. I love both cats and dogs, could never pick between the two of them. I have had my own dog, along with my own cats. In the past I have had guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, snakes and other reptiles so really nothing is off limits. I currently work from home, so fitting you into the daily routine and schedule is going to be a breeze! Dog needs more time? Consider in home! I take one to two dogs in home at a time as to not stress the dog(s) out! I can easily crate if needed, but I prefer the free roaming way! Im home all day for work and such, so being free and comfortable is my goal!

“Our yorkie, Tucker, had a wonderful stay with Stacie and her family. I received texts and photos every day to let us know how he was doing. Stacie provided immediate responses to my texts. Tucker got so much special attention. I would recommend Stacie to anyone needing pet care ❤️.”

“Danielle was amazing! My dog had so much fun with her. Her accommodations for him were so nice and made him feel safe, clean, and comfortable. She truly truly loves animals and was a joy to communicate with. She sent lots of pictures and videos as well. My dog had a blast on his own little doggy vacay. Would definitely recommend her and use her again. She went above and beyond.”

About: From a very young age, I grew up around animals and I have raised dogs of my own! I have been providing animal care services to friends and family and find it very rewarding! I prioritize keeping the doggos safe and comfortable. My dog is on a regular feeding schedule and is my first priority when I wake up and come home from work, she will get a walk immediately and active engagement. I have trained a few puppies with basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, roll, and speak! I have housesat for senior dogs and enjoy spending time with a variety of dogs! I know how important dogs are to individuals and families and that's why communication is a top priority. I provide frequent check-ins and photos if requested! :) With several years of experience, I'm a trusted companion for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I offer flexible scheduling, attentive care, and a genuine love for animals! I am available Monday-Friday and on the weekends! I work part-time right now and am looking for a full-time work from home job so my schedule will remain flexible! I have a fenced in yard and love to stay active so I'm happy to go on plenty of walks with your pups! I am attentive and genuinely love playing with dogs as well as giving them the attention they need to be happy.

“Claire could not be better! She was very responsive. Sent lots of pictures and updates. She went out of her way to treat Pepper like a special baby, just the way we do! I'd trust Claire with my baby anytime!”

About: I grew up on a horse farm and have been an animal lover all of my life. I have raised dogs, cats, horses, sheep and even ferrets. I have a lot of experience with high energy and large dog breeds (owning two Australian Shepherds myself). Pets love my bubbly and caring personality. I promise to treat your pet(s) as if they were my own. I take pet care and pet ownership very seriously. Leaving a pet can cause stress for both the owner and the pet. Let me be the person you can rely on to take the upmost care of your furry friend while you are away. I am very flexible with my availability and feel free to PM me with any questions you have before booking. Thank you :) I work full time (9-5) as a lab supervisor in St Charles, MO. I do have about an hour commute both ways so M-F will be the most time your pup would have to wait for a potty break. Otherwise I’m an absolute homebody and love to spend time with my own pets and meet new ones! We have an open 2 acre yard complete with a leashed dog run. We can easily accommodate a crate trained pup as well. I have a super friendly Aussie and a cat who would keep your pets company during the work week.

“Vivian was amazing with my puppy Rocky! She took care of him like he was her own and kept me updated daily. She has a puppy herself, so she was very prepared and educated on dog watching, the peace of mind was everything to me. Rocky was so sad to leave her and her puppy, we will be using her again when we need a sitter. Thank you Vivian!”

About: Hi, I’m Gabbi, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for other people’s pets! I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve handled hundreds of cats so I am used to every personality. I have also cared for reptiles, amphibians, fish, farm animals, and rodents. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. I have experience with cats and dogs affected by cerebral palsy, deafness, blindness, and other special needs. I am experienced in administering multiple forms of medication. I also volunteer for an animal shelter, which gives me a lot of unique situations and experiences! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. My shifts are typically 6 hours or less, and I only work up to 3 days a week. I do sometimes have other commitments that are unlikely to take more than 4 hours at a time. For people interested in boarding, I have a fenced yard and an 11/yo, 15 lb Shih Tzu who is very friendly. He is laid back and prefers dogs who are also laid back, but has never shown aggression with high energy dogs. I typically walk the dogs I watch at least once a day, but that can vary on the age and/or the activity level of the dog. I can also take them to a park, weather permitting! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 12, I have my own dog that I love and take care of. I enjoy pets a lot. I am currently not working right focusing on school, and I am available anytime to play or take care of your dogs for boarding anytime. I have a fenced in yard, a nice basement area where I will stay with your dog or cat, and I can keep your dog crated as well if need to be.

About: Growing up I’ve had about 4 dogs total, a couple fish and maybe a snake or two. I’m friendly and I love cuddling with fur babies!! Dogs are my safe haven and they bring so much joy into my life! I’m currently unemployed and new to this town. Therefore, I have so much time and opportunity. I would love to help daily and possibly have returning customers! I have a safe pretty empty apartment with lots of space for running and fun!! I also have a Guinea pig that loves running around and is very friendly with other animals! Your fur babies are in good hands with me.

About: Just getting started here on Rover; however, I have years of experience taking care of family and friends pets. Whether they’re dogs, cats, reptiles, etc. I love all animals and my children who are 11 & 13, also love and enjoy helping me care for others pets. We have a miniature dachshund who is so handsome and playful. I would love to take care of your pets ❤️ I have a flexible work schedule, so that allows my availability throughout the day and night to cater to your pets needs. I am available weekends as well and would love to help care for your fur baby whenever needed. I am able to give full attention to your animals in your home. I can drop by at anytime and let them outside, feed and give them water. I can also stay and play with them so they get the attention they deserve!

About: My girlfriend and I foster animals and would love to spend time with yours. We have a fenced in back yard and experience in taking care of dogs. Hospice fostering is where our heart is fullest. I work in St. Louis Mon-Wed. Thursday & Fridays I can work remotely. I’m available all weeekend. Mondays I don’t work until noon. So long weekends are perfect. Thursday-Monday is best for me. My girlfriend also pet sits if I’m not free. I have a fenced in yard with two dogs who live at my house. I have a older chihuahua who will ignore your dogs so she can sleep, and I have a younger boxer mix that loves everyone and all dogs, and always wants to play. I may have a foster animal in the house as well. My animals can stay at my girlfriends house from time to time if you prefer less interaction with other dogs. We have gates up that can be closed. We have experience with all temperaments.

Emily M.
“Emily has been entrusted with the periodic care of our dog and three cats for more years than I can recount. We met her when she was in Animal Tech at the local High School and have enjoyed her thoughtful, caring manner every time we needed a sitter for our animals. Regardless of whether they were young and getting into everything or as they are now getting on in years and in need of much more hands on care. Emily has our complete trust and often advises us as she notices behaviors that we may have missed and always has the pets health and wellness as her top concern. I have no problem recommending her to care for whatever pet has become a member of your family.”
