About: I own a 7 acre property that is a short drive up Fickle Hill Rd in Arcata! It includes a private trail with access to the community forest and a very large fenced in yard. I have a 1 year old female German Shepherd (Sabine) who is very well trained and LOVES to play with other dogs. I’ve been working with animals my entire life but started officially dog sitting and walking about 10 years ago! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities and feel comfortable and confident in my care abilities. Locally I have done in home care both long term and short term. Now that I have this large property I would like to do more of a doggy day care! I am capable of providing training, grooming, as well as daily exercise and enrichment activities! I am free Monday - Thursday every week as I work from home as a ceramic artist. On the weekends (Friday - Sunday) I work as a waitress. I offer care from my home where I have a very large fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors. As well as a large dog friendly home for those rainy days. All plants and trees on the property are dog safe! I also have a private trail that is connected to the community forest trails where I take Sabine (my dog) for daily walks. Sabine also loves the beach so we do take weekly trips out to the dunes in Samoa! I’m a dog lover and feel that I am very attuned to understanding the way they communicate. About: I have been a sitter for 4 years for friends and neighbors. My care has included walking, potty breaks, overnight care, and more! I’ve lived with Dobermans my whole life and am capable of care for any dog of any size! I am a full time student at Cal Poly humboldt, my classes are in the morning and I am completely open in afternoons, weekends and holidays! I am active and love to play with animals!! My dogs at home are escape artists so I know how to avoid an escape due to fences. I have kennel trained multiple of my dogs and prefer to use kennels for bigger dogs.

About: I've had animals all of my life. My parents kept getting me more animals because they said as long I was taking good care of them, then I could get more. I would keep journals about their well being( Funny, I know) The point is, I love animals. I have had dogs,puppies, cats, lizards, hamsters, chickens, horses, ferrets, and chameleons, I have 2 dogs of my own and they are my children. It's of the utmost importance to me that any animal under my care feels very loved, and taken care of. I know it can be traumatic being away from your animal, and it can create anxiety. I will do my best to make sure your baby is feeling good and happy! I currently make my own schedule and own my own massage therapy business. The further in advance I know about the sitting job, the more of a chance I will have of being able to clear my schedule for it. My schedule is pretty flexible! I will follow the directions you give me to a T. I know our animals get used to routine, so I will do my best not to disrupt that routine. I am hands on, and want to make sure any animal I care for feels loved and paid attention to.

About: Iv'e had and taken care of pets my whole life. At one point, I had over 10 pets including chickens, dogs, cats, hamsters, hermit crabs, fish, etc. I honestly could't imagine my life without these cuties. As of right now, I have a very open schedule besides from 9AM-12PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays when I have classes at College of San Mateo. I am available early in the mornings, throughout the afternoon, evenings, and even overnight if needed :) I make sure all pets are in a safe environment with safety hazards out of reach and I am fully aware of foods that are toxic to certain animals. I will follow any special safety instructions provided by the owner. If I’m in a client’s home, I make sure doors and gates are properly secured and always supervise pets when necessary. I build trust with both pets and owners by maintaining open communication, providing regular updates, and respecting the pet’s routines. I understand that pets may feel anxious in new environments, so I take the time to earn their trust with patience, positive reinforcement, and gentle interactions. When i'm at a clients home, I strive to create a calm and comfortable environment. This includes providing a clean space, fresh water, appropriate exercise, and plenty of love. I follow any feeding, medication, or training guidelines given by the owner to ensure the pet feels at happy and safe :)

About: Dogs have been apart of my life since I was 8 years old. Personally I took care of a Boston terrier and that is the only breed that Ive worked with in my house. Other breeds that I’ve had experience with our my neighbors dogs including different types of Pitbulls and huskies. I am very comfortable with larger dog find them to be huge lovers. I am welcome to any size dog i know I can handle and take care of them based on my personal experience with my own pets and neighbors pets. My neighbors pets have been in my life longer than the Boston terrier that we got as a family dog. My family has now had three Boston terriers throughout my lifetime. I am currently a full-time Cal poly Humboldt student, but I have 1 to 2 hour breaks between most of my classes and I’m free in the evenings for dog walking throughout the day. I am currently moved out of my parents house so I don’t have any pets in my home but I have a fenced off backyard and is spacious living area if they need to stay overnight that is OK. I have plenty of places to walk right outside of my home. In the clients home I would be able to do any pet care that they may require or want such as walking be brushing. I have had so much trouble trying to find fabulous places for my own dog to stay, that I thought I would open my fabulous property and big heart to more animals who owners need vacations and work options. I love walking dogs and am available for drop in care as well! Your dog will be doted on and well cared for! I am a stay at home mom. Completely available with a flexible schedule. I love walking dogs and playing. We also have a large breed doodle who is very friendly and loves to be around other dogs. I explore the local beaches and hiking trails daily and would love to bri g your dog. Our property is not fenced. We have acreage, a pond and fenced chickens. We have our back deck gated. We offer pictures, videos and a great time for your pup! We can bath if necessary and make sure your pup is clean and happy at pick up! We do not let our dog up on the furniture but he has a comfortable bed and yours will too!
