About: I've had pets in my home since I was 7 years old, and have taken care of others pets since I was 14 years old. I've taken care of puppies 4 months old and have helped once with a momma dog in labor. I worked for a local dog breeder cleaning up after her dogs early in the morning and feeding as well. A mess doesn't scare me! Anything can be cleaned up properly! I have such a passion for animal care and love every animal like my own! I'm also working on getting trained in animal first aid and CPR! I currently work part-time from home and do volunteer work several mornings a week, so I can be available pretty much as I am needed! I'm very aware of keeping doors and gates locked and shut especially when I have to step out. Knowing if the animals I'm responsible for are prone to escaping and taking caution and steps to ensure they don't get out as needed. Making sure they have their space they feel comfortable when they're alone.

About: As a compassionate and experienced animal caregiver, I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animal companion, focusing on their overall physical and emotional well-being. I am excited about the prospect of meeting you and your adorable pets As I'm presently working from home, I've found myself with a substantial amount of free time, and I'd like to capitalize on this opportunity to engage in an activity I thoroughly enjoy – being around animals. I have a fenced yard and own five dogs, including four small ones and one medium-sized dog, all of which are friendly, loving, and playful. If necessary, I can provide a kennel and separate them as needed.

About: Your pets have my full attention when they’re in my care. I’ve raised and cared for animals my entire life—from dogs and cats to horses and chickens—and I’m comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. In high school, I apprenticed as a vet tech, which gave me hands-on experience with basic medical care, handling anxious pets, and recognizing when something’s wrong. I'm currently raising three dogs, including a working-line German Shepherd trained in service tasks and a high-energy husky/malinois/wolf mix, so I’m no stranger to active, smart pups who need structure and stimulation. I have experience with puppy training, senior care, and building trust with shy or reactive dogs. Whether your pet needs calm companionship, a brisk walk, or mental engagement, I adapt my approach to fit their unique personality. As a professional photographer, my schedule is flexible and allows me to give your pet consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Walks are built into our daily routine—weather permitting—and if it’s too hot or stormy, we switch to indoor enrichment and play. I’m usually home during the day and evening unless I’m out for a shoot, and I’ll only accept bookings that allow me to maintain that level of presence and care. Pets in my home or yours will always feel seen, safe, and included. Safety is a top priority in everything I do. My background as a vet tech apprentice helps me spot issues early and ensure all pets stay healthy and comfortable. At home, our dogs are treated like family—but with boundaries. We maintain structure, encourage good behavior, and never let things slide just because a pet is cute (though we do think they’re all adorable). Our home is pet-friendly with lots of enrichment options, supervised outdoor time, and cozy spots to relax. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll respect your space, routines, and pet’s comfort zones—leaving everything just as I found it (or better).

About: I’m a RN, with a passion for animals. A mom of 3 fur babies and 2 human babies 💕 longest pet sitting was a week, I have been around animals all my life and are very comfortable around them. I’m a home health nurse. So I’m gone around 4 hrs a day. However my husband works nights. So there is always someone at the home with the animals. I try to start my day early so I can have time to walk the pups before it gets too hot or later in the evening when it cools down. I have a fenced yard with 3 friendly dogs that love to play, who have also always been around different dogs. We have tile flooring so if there’s an accident no worries! We have a doggy door so they have full access to the tiled living room area and the back yard for them to come and go as they please. I care for animals in other homes based on instructions from that specific client.

About: Hi, I had a petsitting business in the bay area until the pandemic hit. Life circumstances brought me and my family up to the beautiful north end of the state and I'm picking it back up, this time through Rover. I am a lifelong animal lover and caregiver (I so wanted to be Dr. Doolittle as a kid!) I now currently have 3 little dogs and 2 cats. I've been active in dog rescue as a volunteer through local shelter and a local rescue for several years when I was living in the bay area and I have taken pet first aid and CPR. I know as a pet owner that you want someone who will take care of your pet as you would, with proper exercise, healthy food and of course, play time and love/snuggles. That is my commitment to you and your dog. I look forward to working with you and your fur baby. Thank you Laura I am able to make drop in visits throughout the day and evening. I am available full time, this is my full time business. Thank you! I prefer to take care of pets in their own environment where they are most secure and comfortable. It causes less stress for the pet. I am insured and bonded .

About: I grew up on a farm, so animals have always been part of my world—feeding chickens before breakfast, brushing horses after school, and getting covered in dog hair in between! I’ve looked after everything from bouncy puppies to mellow senior dogs, and I’ve always had an easy, natural connection with animals. They seem to sense that I’m one of the good ones. I’m great at picking up on their vibes—whether they’re in the mood to zoom around or just want some chill cuddle time. Taking care of animals is second nature to me, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite things to do. I live a flexible lifestyle and am fully available to care for your pets. Since I’m not tied to a traditional job or schedule, I can offer your fur babies lots of time, attention, and consistency. Whether it’s daily walks, extended stays, or last-minute needs, I’m here to help and happy to adapt to your routine. I prioritize creating a safe, nurturing environment wherever I’m staying. I care for pets in their own familiar space, which helps them feel secure and relaxed. I’m attentive to routines, respectful of your home, and can adapt to any special needs your pet may have—whether that means crating, administering medication, or extra cuddle time.

About: Hi! My name is Jessie and I been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager. I do dog boarding, checking ins, and dog walking. I do have 2 dogs myself they are older pups. My husband and I have 2 beautiful girls 2 year old and a 7 month old. I ak an independent hair stylist so I do come and go for work. We are a big dog lovers in our house hold. Pet care fits in my schedule very well since I work part time. Some days I am available to more walks and check in than other days. I do have a fence yard in the front and back my yard. They are safe to be and won't get out. I do have 2 very friendly dogs they love to play with other dogs.

About: My 3 pups are my world. I have a 2 yr old teacup shih tzu, a 4 year old shih tzu and a 13 yr old shih tzu. I understand pets at all stages of life. I specialize in small breed but I have cared for all. I am comfortable administering meds as I’ve done it for my senior. I have no issue with special needs pups as my mini required a lot of special specific care through puppy stage and still in day to day life. I’m comfortable with doggie diapers, crates, litter boxes/robots, leash aggression, playpens, securing halters, multiple dogs on walks, “accidents” etc You will relax and feel comfortable while you’re away knowing I will make sure your baby is safe and well taken care of whether it’s within my house or I am visiting yours. I communicate very thoroughly and seek answers and information when needed. I am able to make good judgment calls as well as capable & equipped to figure out the unexpected. :) I live in a “tiny home” in the forest - I have doggie steps to get on the couch / bed - my pups have 2 outdoors decks to hang out and play on as well as an outdoor playpen, run and tons of toys and doggie beds. Extremely dog friendly home. I currently work from home with my 3 shih tzu pups, so I will have the flexibility to make sure your pup is a priority and the availability to communicate throughly when needed. Flexible for changes. I want you to feel comfortable while you’re away. I know how stressful it can be leaving your loved one. As you can see from my photos my husband and I take our pups everywhere - I feel anxious when I have to leave them with someone else and really only have a select few I feel I can trust. I want to be that for you. My house revolves around my 3 small pups. I understand the importance of setting pups up in an environment for success and making sure they are safe. It is my duty to protect them in all aspects as I have and I will continue.

About: I have had dogs (and other pets) for 10+ years, but I'm new to Rover. I currently have 5 dogs of my own, all of which I've had since they were puppies, so I'm familiar with the puppy stage! People have often observed and commented on how good I am with dogs and how easily I communicate with them. Several clients have told me, "My dog doesn't like most people, but he likes you!" I'm a 26 year old adult and my career is in freelance writing. I'm flexible, communicative, and reliable. Let's chat about your pet-sitting needs! My work is flexible, so my availability can be too! Because I spend so much time caring for my own dogs, I'm always in the caring mindset. I'm detail oriented and will pay close attention to the needs of your pups and your preferences. Mariah S.
“Mariah is an exceptional pet sitter. She has helped take care of my daschund, hound dog, cat, fish and my horse! She is very gentle and kind with them and takes the time to love on them and play. She also provided a lap to snuggle in! I also noticed she makes sure their space stays clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend her for your pets needs!”

Jessie C.

“You want to know someone who absolutely loves every animal she sees? You have found her! Jessie cares for all of her animals as well as those she watches with the best quality, love, care and support anyone could ask for. I have had Jessie watch my poodle and mixed breed, both loving but hyper and she would send me photos of their status and let me know if anything came up. Jessie was responsible and through when making sure i had emergency numbers, the right amount of food and asked if there were any dietary restrictions or particular things my dogs couldn't do. She walked them everyday and they were so excited to go back to her again and again. I would highly recommend Jessie to care for your furbabies. She has the heart of gold and your animals will see that.”

Kandace R.
“11/10 recommend using Kandace to take care of your animals. She is extremely compassionate, caring and attentive and truly cares about the dogs she looks after like they are her own!”

Jessica M.
“My dogs love Jessica. Jessica is an excellent caregiver to them and definitely speaks their language. They always love seeing her. They almost love her more than me! Jessica is great to work with and follows my instructions, such as mixing together their wet and dry food and giving them their medicine when they've needed it in the past. Jessica is responsible, polite, friendly, and I can tell that she loves pets with all her heart.”
