About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have been caring for cats and dogs since I was a little girl. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding that every animal has their own unique personality and needs. Over the years, I've cared for and babysat pets for friends, family, and neighbors, earning their trust through dependable, compassionate care. My experience includes caring for cats and dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments—from playful puppies and energetic dogs to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention, as well as independent cats and affectionate lap cats alike. I understand that some pets warm up quickly while others need time to build trust, and I always let them set the pace. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, cleaning litter boxes, or simply providing companionship and comfort while you're away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and well cared for, while giving you peace of mind knowing they're in reliable hands. I work full time out of the home, but can be available to board animals overnight on weekdays for (1) night with a pick up by 7:30 AM the following day and can board or house-visit over the weekend (Drop off Friday after 4PM thru Sundays-pick up by 5 pm Sunday). I can do house visits any week day after 4 PM. I have a fenced in backyard and a very walkable, safe neighborhood. My home is a pet's paradise with lots of comfy couches and plenty of space to run and play, and windows for clocking in for Neighborhood Watch :) I don't mind animals sleeping with me, if they want to! Otherwise, plenty of places for furry ones to nap and snooze whenever they choose.

“My booking request was super last minute because my previous arrangements fell through, and Augusta was originally not available but reached back out to me later on to tell me she would be able to if I still needed it which I greatly appreciated! She was great with Bobble and communicated very regularly about how he was doing!”

“Wow! Krista is just fantastic. We’ve used several Rover sitters over the years and she is hands down the absolute best. Clear communication, flexible, great house and yard. Our dog had some special needs and she managed to listen to all of our laundry list of instructions. Plus, her dog Griffin is so well tempered and got along so well with our dog. They played every day. I picked my dog up to spend about an hour with him and when I brought my dog back to Krista’s, his tale was wagging like crazy just to get back into her home! And my dog has pretty intense separation anxiety! Krista is a true “dog person” and has the intuition and experience to take great care of your pup.”
