About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time outside of these times. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life. You can rest assured your pups, big and small, will get all the love and attention while you’re away. I currently work full-time, Monday through Friday, but have three pups of my own at home and can board additional pups overnight during the week and can do daytime walks on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and keep your pets separated from my household pets unless they are long-time visitors and we know everyone gets along well.

About: I've taken care of every kind of dog since I was the age of 11. The type of dog breeds I have taken care of are golden retrievers, mixed breed dogs, chihuahuas and pomeranians. Neighbors and family members have trusted me to walk, feed, play, administer medicine and take their dogs to the vet. I have trained puppies and taken care of senior dogs. The first puppy that I trained was my mixed breed dog who we got at the age of six weeks old. I am currently training my 7 month old mixed breed puppy basic commands. The senior dog that I have recently cared for was a chihuahua who had a grain allergy. I am using Rover as my full time job. The service that I offer at the moment is dog walking. I am usually home alot but may need to leave for doctor appointments or to run errands. Owners can expect me to be away for short periods of time, but you can check always check my calendar for availabilities. I have a puppy of my own that I take care of daily. I feed, walk, play, bathe and take care of my puppy's overall health, well-being and safety as part of our daily and weekly routine. I feed my puppy twice a day along with rewarding her with treats throughout the day. I take her on walks either once or twice a day around our neighborhood or at a park. I play with her outside in our backyard or take her to the park. I love on her and provide a safe and comfortable environment for her. I always schedule regular veterinary checkups and nail grinding appointments for her. Once a week I give my puppy a dental treat to ensure that her teeth, gums and breathe are taken care of.
