About: My first ever job at the age of 12 was dog sitting in my neighborhood. I am a dog mom myself to a sweet high energy Boykin Spaniel. I have a dear love and passion for all animals and am excited to help take care of your sweet additions to your family! I work from home and have tons of flexibility to walk and check in on your pets at any time of the day! Or have your pets come hangout with me at my house! I have a large dog park in my neighborhood where your pups if allowed can roam and have fun! I work from home where your pet is allowed on my furniture to take a nap and cuddle!
“went home for the holidays and ashton was amazing at coming in and feeding my cat! very responsive and reliable! i felt like my cat was in perfect hands while i was away <3”

“Michele was an amazing asset. She did such a fabulous job taking care of my two cats, that they appeared to be disappointed it was me when I came home. Clearly, they were well taken care of in my absence.”

About: I'm a huge animal lover. I'm very outgoing and love dogs! I grew up with four dogs (all different breeds), so I am very used to taking care of fur babies. I am very flexible and easy to work with. I am great with dogs of all sizes. I will walk the dogs as many times throughout the day as possible. I love interacting with dogs and taking them for runs. I love buying toys and playing various games with them. I love to snuggle with them and make them feel loved. I will take as good of care of them as I would my own fur babies. I hope we will get to play together! Pet care is part of my daily life—I naturally structure my routine around spending time with animals. I have a flexible schedule, so fitting in walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins comes easily. Making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for is something I prioritize every day. In both my home and a client’s home, I care for pets as if they were my own. I stick to their normal routine, offer lots of love and attention, and make sure they always feel safe and comfortable. I keep their space clean, give fresh water, follow feeding instructions, and make time for play, cuddles, and bathroom breaks. I also send regular updates so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: Hi everyone! I work from home and would love to be able to use my flexible work schedule to make a little extra money, hang out with adorable animals, and provide care and attention to them. All my life I have had dogs and cats who mean the world to me. Any time I have to be away from them, or need someone to care for them, I want the absolute best person for the job. It’s what our pets deserve! I’d love to be that person for others. I work from home Monday-Friday! Because of this, I’m able to work remotely from anywhere. I’d love to be able to use that flexibility to petsit. I have a few meetings throughout the day, but otherwise I have very open availability to give lots of attention and time to your pets! I’d care for pets in my client’s home exactly how I’d want someone to care for mine. I have a dog who is my whole world, and I’d want to give that same care and attention that she deserves from those who have watched her.
“Anna helped me out in a pinch with a last minute work trip. She was helpful and kept me informed the whole time. I appreciate the fact that she was willing to work with me on costs and even extending the visits when my trip got extended. My animals love Anna and I will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since I was barely tall enough to see over a food bowl, and that lifelong hands-on experience shaped me into someone who naturally understands animal behavior, routines, and training. I’ve personally trained my own dogs and have always been deeply involved in their care, from daily structure to behavior shaping and enrichment. Right now I share my home with a cat who keeps life interesting, and I’m very attentive to creating a happy, stable environment for pets. Animals have always been a constant part of my life, and caring for them feels less like a task and more like second nature. 🐾 My schedule is pretty structured around my work hours: I work 4pm–12am, and outside of that I’m home and available for the rest of the day. I keep my routine simple and steady, and I’m usually around in the mornings and early afternoons before heading into work. I’m not someone who’s constantly on the go or juggling a million commitments—my life is more grounded in work, home, and taking care of my pets. That balance gives me a lot of consistency and time to focus on what matters day to day. I take safety and trust seriously when it comes to animals and their environment. In the past, I’ve crate-trained my dogs and learned how to create calm, structured routines that help them feel secure and well-behaved. I’m comfortable setting boundaries in a gentle but consistent way, depending on the needs of each pet. My home is also very pet-safe, especially because my current cat is extremely curious and determined to investigate everything. I’ve adapted my space to keep hazards out of reach and ensure it’s a safe, enriched environment where pets can explore without getting into trouble. I pay close attention to what they can access and how they interact with their surroundings, so safety is always built into the way I live with animals. 🐾
“Sheryl was great with our dog and cat while we were away for the holidays. She was caring, attentive, and followed our instructions for medications to a T. I would definitely recommend to book with her!”

About: My biggest priority is maintaining each pet’s established routine! I always ask owners about their pet’s feeding, walking, grooming, medication, and training schedules, and I follow their instructions as closely as possible to ensure consistency and comfort while they’re away. If a pet doesn’t have a specific schedule, I typically begin the day around 8 AM with breakfast, followed by a morning walk. I usually aim for about a mile, but I’m happy to go farther for energetic pups or adjust the distance and pace for senior dogs or those with different physical needs. Afterward, I’ll wipe their paws, clean them up if needed, and spend time playing, providing enrichment, or reinforcing their usual training routines. Throughout the day, I balance exercise and playtime with plenty of affection and relaxation. For quieter pets or senior dogs, I love bringing a book and reading aloud while keeping them company and giving them lots of love! During downtime, I also make an effort to tidy up and maintain the home. My motto is to always leave a space better than I found it! In the evening, I typically follow up with dinner, another walk, and some quality time before settling in for the night. I also enjoy cooking, and with the owner’s permission, I’m happy to prepare a little dog-safe treat or meal using appropriate ingredients, provided it aligns with their dietary needs and restrictions. Above all, I’m flexible! Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule, needs extra exercise, prefers a slower pace, or simply wants someone to cuddle with, I’m happy to adapt my day to whatever makes them feel happiest and most comfortable. I am currently going to school part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays so those days are the most difficult to schedule for me. I also work part time at Mad Science of CVA, where I am scheduled by season and typically work once-twice a week for two hours at a time. I can pet sit on these days, but depending on the time of my shift for MSCVA, I may have to leave for two-three hours before returning. “This is our 1st experience using Rover as well as any professional dog sitting service. Let just say we're already locked in with Raye. She has great communication, as well as an amazing photographer.🤭 We recommend her for any services.”

“We had a great experience with Marina! She is reliable, caring, and wonderful with our dog. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in good hands while we work such long hours. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!”

“Michelle was diligent and caring while we were out of town for the weekend. We were able to travel with peace of mind due to her level of care. Will be rebooking!”

“Marcos took great care of our kitties. His updates were informative, assuring us that everything was taken care of. He even went above and beyond to pick up medicine when we ran out due to poor planning. Additionally, one of our cats is very difficult for her medicine, but Marcos was able to handle her. We were very glad to come home to healthy, only mildly resentful kitties.”

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
