About: I've spent over 40 years caring for animals, from small dogs like Mini Dachshunds and cats to large breeds, including German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Chows, Pitbulls. I currently share my home with a long-haired German Shepherd and a beautiful long-haired domestic cat who are my babies. My daughter is also there while in college & has 2 cats so animals have always been an important part of my life, and to me, they're family, not just pets. In addition to caring for my own animals, I've provided pet sitting for friends and family, including multiple-dog and cat households. One of my most meaningful experiences has been caring for my German Shepherd following a serious attack that left him with very significant injuries. Helping him through his recovery gave me firsthand experience with the patience, attentiveness, and compassion required when an animal needs extra support. I'm comfortable administering oral medications according to instructions, maintaining feeding and exercise schedules, and adapting to each pet's individual personality and needs.
