About: Having previously worked at a humane shelter and a doggy daycare, I understand that dogs require a lot of care, love, and patience! I'm pretty good at reading their body language and I love putting in the extra work to get shy or reactive dogs to trust me. I will do everything I can to make sure your dog is comfortable and well cared for! My schedule is wide open to housesit, dog walk/enrichment, and check-ins whenever it's needed. Let me know what you and your pet need, and we can schedule something! I will do anything I can to make sure your pet is comfortable, entertained, and loved while you are away. You'll return to see the house just as you left it (with absolutely no judgment if it's cleaned or cluttered) and a happy pet!

About: I work year-round at a summer camp, and I love to take care of animals on the side. I can come to your home and look after your dog where they might be more comfortable. I have a cat at home, but I am missing my time living with dogs, so I thought that this would be the perfect compromise! I am also available to take care of any cats or other small animals that you may have at your home. When camp is not in session, I work remotely. That means I can work wherever there is wifi! More time to spend with your fur babies. I can do whatever works best for both of our schedules. I love having dogs (and cats!) come to my house, but sometimes I think it's easier for them to stay in the environment where they are the most comfortable. I am willing to accommodate what you think is best for your pet.

About: I have worked in the veterinary field for about 3 years. I went to school and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I am also Pet CPR Certifed. I have my own pet/house sitting business and offer feline grooming! I work full time but am able to pet sit every night, on weekends and do checks on pets during the day, sometimes multiple times a day. Your pets will get lots of play time, go on walks, and get lots of attention. I do like to relax with them and just hang out as well, depending on the pet.

About: I have been taking care of animals for friends and family since I was a teenager and have always loved it! I am able to give insulin to dogs or cats as well as other medications! I am well versed in dogs of all ages as well as temperaments. I am in the process of learning grooming so can do basic grooms, not currently taking full grooms. I worked for a pet care business for well over a year, so have experience with multiple environments and circumstances! I currently work full time but I have an hour long lunch break and availability before and after work, as well as weekends! My mother takes care of my pets when I’m not home so it’s nice to get out and help other pet owners. I have lots of experience with all types of animals so I am comfortable with almost anything. I like to do my best to keep your pets routine as stable as possible to make the transition less stressful while you’re away from home.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and had a golden retriever growing up. I hope to one day get another dog. I will take good care of your furry friends! I am a teacher and mornings are not generally an option but I’m free in the afternoons and evenings and on the weekends, can be flexible! I will always make sure that your pet’s environment is safe while you are away and that all food and water and toys are available! Will give them extra love free of charge!

About: In the past when I’ve done some house sitting I ended up bonding with the animals which they had to call me Uncle Bobby which required visits even when the owners were home! I work 3 on 3 off and occasionally some overtime! So I actually do have a lot of time of but different days! So weekends and weekdays I actually can have time off! Outside time on a leash or what ever the owner prefers! I would prefer the animals get to know me on leashes! If it’s a fenced in area no problem! Run free my fury friends Lol! I was former certified law enforcement officer and Army Veteran! I can be trusted in your home! Look forward to meeting your animals and the animals owners Lol!

She reported what Seth did on the walks, wasn't afraid to ask questions/share concerns, and also helped out with some allergy reactions he was having on his skin. About: As a lifelong dog owner, I know the importance of feeling confidence in your pet’s care while you are away – for the day or for weeks. I grew up with German Shepards, Labrador Retrievers, Weimaraners, and of course your traditional mutts. I’m comfortable with medium and large breeds with varying degrees of energy and structure needs. In adulthood I’ve dedicated myself to seniors and pups with special needs. My current pack is all neutered males - Riley (12), Vinnie (17), Gilroy (4, Cerebellar Aplasia), and Louie (4, Blind). Everyone in the pack is dog friendly and more importantly I know them well and how to navigate introducing new members. Pack management is a critical and advantageous skill I live in a single family detached home with a large fenced in yard. The dogs are allowed on the furniture. I have extra crates, cots, dog beds, and toys. With a traditional cape style, I can also keep pack members separate if needed, especially at mealtime to keep everyone safe. My home and I have been approved by three different reputable rescues in the last 3 years. I have established relationships with not only my local vet, Dirigo, but also specialists at Maine Veterinary Medical Center. I have experience with high needs behavioral and physical pups. Though I do not think taking in an aggressive dog into the pack for sitting is a good idea, I am comfortable and understand dogs with anxiety that might need some extra time or care. I have experience with dogs paralyzed in the back end, cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly), cerebellar aplasia (no balance), hydrocephalus, blindness, senior needs, puppy needs and training. In the last year my pack has included three more pups (may two rest in peace, and one continue to live his best life with his forever mom) and so I open my home to boarding knowing that my current boys are already okay with new members. If you have any questions please reach out! I work from home five days a week. I work from home full-time and can navigate my schedule most days by the needs of the pack. Without a doubt they can go outside whenever they need. At most during the week I could leave the house from 1-3 hours. I will sometimes need to leave the house for 2-6 hours at a time especially on weekends, but can arrange any accommodation that makes your pup comfortable – free, crate, room etc. All dogs are allowed on the couch and my bed, though not all will sleep on the bed at night. I make sure to have a dog bed available for each pup in the house and have crate options too if individual space makes your pup feel more comfortable. The house is set up so that all living is on the first floor, so there are only two stairs into the home and two stairs off of the deck. During the warmer months I have a dog door for free access to the fenced in yard. However, in the winter months I maintain taking the dogs out at regular intervals. All dogs will be fed safely alone so no issues are allowed to develop. All stairs inside are blocked off either by baby gate or doors (for my blind boy). Pack management is key to safety and with lots of experience I know I can navigate it well.

About: I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds - dogs and cats included. I love animals and wish to make a career out of providing pet care. I am pet first aid & CPR certified and I am bonded and insured. I strive to provide nothing but the best care possible! I have trained my service dog all by myself and have trained my other dog myself! I also have experience with training other dogs — I specialize in service dogs and problem behaviors in dogs! I do my best to be very flexible with scheduling. I do have occasional appointments but those can typically be worked around. I would very much appreciate having recurring customers, this also makes it easier to fit new clients into my scheduling. I have a portal system for easy scheduling and invoicing as well! I enjoy being active and I wish to work to become more active. I have a standard poodle who is my service dog. I also have a younger standard poodle that I have trained myself. I do not always bring my service dog with me, it is all dependent on how our dogs interact. Also if you would like for me to teach your dogs I would be happy to talk more!

About: I have 3 energetic pups, two came to us as puppies and one was a rescue that required lots of patience to get to be her happy go lucky self. I have helped care for a variety of my families animals for 15+ years. I am very comfortable with animals and love dogs especially! I’d have my own rescue if I could. I am always spending my free time taking my dogs to go on walks or find a place to swim. I can certainly make some free time to add some extra pups in the mix! My dogs are spoiled at home but also have structure. They have a routine of eating once in the morning and once in the evening but their bowls are left down for them all day if they choose to not eat it all at the time it is given. They have access to water all day and yes they are allowed on the furniture. They have lots of toys to play with and there are gates the separate off certain sections of the house if they need to be split for any reason (such as if one needed medication or if company were to come over, etc). They have the command “bed time” or “go to bed” at night and they go to their designated sleep spot. Two sleep in kennels, one with the door open and one with the door closed, and one sleeps on a dog bed. They get lots of outside play time!
