Teddi is a very well behaved and friendly boy but we were a bit anxious how this would go. Walt kept us well informed on how Teddi was doing. Walt gave Teddi great care and a lot of attention. When we returned to pick up Teddi, it was obvious that he and Teddy had bonded very well. We are very pleased with the care that Walt provided and will certainly use him again.”

About: I have been caring for other families animals since I was 10! I have always had a passion for all animals. We have had dogs in the home and outside since I was 5! I am also a huge advocate of rescues and experienced with all breeds! I work from home and I have a pretty flexible schedule. About: I have been blessed to grow up with cats and dogs my whole life. I love taking care of animals. I have a dog and 3 cats of my own. Animals bring joy and it’s important to find care that you can trust and will do what you ask because they are your animals. I’m happy to care for your pets the way you request. I believe animals are a part of the family and deserve to be treated with that kind of love, care, and respect. I’m currently working part time as a nurse while I care for my son and my own fur babies. I look forward to meeting more animals and sharing the love. I have a privacy fenced in back yard where our dog stays. I have 2 outdoor cats (used to my dog who come and go as they please) and 1 indoor cat. About: Some of my pet experience includes bathing dogs, taking care of dogs for friends, having my own dog who i care for, and loving all animals. I’ve trained my dog to for certain commands which i believe is very helpful. All my friends come to me when they need someone to take care of their fur babies! I am a college student with a work load, however no job. A lot of my days are spent in my home doing homework and pet care fits into my schedule because I can always be there to play and take you pets out. I don’t have very long classes either or in a big stretch so your pay would be cared for almost 24/7 I care for pets as if they were my children haha! In my home, I have bowls, treats, and toys for your pets. In your home, I would respect the space and take care of your pet as if it were my own.

About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. Working with animals brings me joy and peace, and making sure they are happy and well cared for is my life mission. I believe in fear free handling, and I am happy to work with animals who do not trust unknown people. I am a licensed veterinarian but I am currently in grad school so I am very flexible. I can be home all day if needed, and can provide close supervision. I have a full sized truck and the ability to transport animals with me safely. I have 2.5 acres of fenced land for dogs to run and play as well as a small fenced in section adjacent to the house. A pet door offers come and go access to the house. I am free to drop in during the week or board animals for extended periods, and if your animal needs medications administered as part of their care I am very capable. I am comfortable handling large dogs (I have a lot of practice in my line of work as a veterinarian). I am also comfortable with young animals, cats, older animals, and any animal requiring high levels of care.

About: Hi! We are Hannah and Evin! My heart dog, Lenny, went to college recently after 15 years together🥹. He was everything to me. We really miss having a creature around, but are not ready to have our own again. We would love to care for your fur baby as if they are our own, and treat them with love and affection like we did Lenny, and Hannah’s late doggo, Trixi. My partner and I work from home, so we are home almost all the time. Your babies will be cared for and loved all day! We are great with training reinforcement, giving medications, and general care. Please send me a message and tell me more about your fur baby and their specific needs! I’ve been through it all with my dog, from puppy days to major surgeries, to incredibly high separation anxiety, to palliative care. Between the two of us, we have seen it all with our late dogs. *Disclaimer: Hannah is allergic to some breeds, especially ones that shed a lot and/or have a naturally greasy coat. Certain breeds are a no go. We can discuss that and do a meet and greet and she can usually tell right away. I currently work from, so your baby will have attention full time! We rarely leave the house, except for a couple times a week for dinner, coffee, groceries, etc. I can crate your dog if needed, or spoil them with scroofles and kisses, or both! if your dog is good in the car, we also have remote climate control in the car so they can tag along and have a temperature controlled safe place while we run in for groceries, etc.

About: Previous volunteer at a humane society in Dublin, Virginia before moving to Roanoke, VA. Previous foster volunteer at the Roanoke, VA SPCA. This helps if I care for an animal that has health problems. Work Monday - Friday 8-5 away from home. Check on my dog at lunch and can let yours out to walk as well if they are crate trained and can stay in the crate while I am not home. Maeve is a spoiled dog. She is turned three in Oct. She loves being around other animals. Currently Maeve is an only pet but does well with other dogs.

About: I am a puppy mom of two loveable border collie crosses and one German Shepherd! We have a large front yard for the dogs to run as well as a farm to explore. My husband and I have had dogs all our life, but we got our first together in 2016 and added the second addition September 2017. Our third pup was added in 2025. On the weekends we take hiking trips and would love to have your pup join us on our adventures. I have my own business and work from home, so they would have as many breaks as needed. Your pup would be in great hands with us. I work from home, with my own business, so I have a lot of flexibility in caring for your pet! Outside time and rest breaks are able to fit right into my schedule. In our primary residence we have 3 dogs, all of which are crate trained. For my office space though I am able to have it dog free should your pet need that.
