“I totally recommend Jaylin, she left notes with information about my cats behavior and included pictures. I felt they were well cared for and that gave me piece of mind so I could enjoy my vacation knowing my fur babies were in good hands. I will definitely use her again”

“I've used Jenna multiple times now and she is so wonderful to work with. She is incredibly reliable, communicative and also sends the goofiest pictures of playing with my dog. It makes me feel so much better that I can travel without having to worry about my dog at all, because she takes all that stress away with her excellent care!”

About: With 9 years of hands on experience caring for pets, I bring a flexible and intuitive approach to pet care that meets each pup where they are. Whether your dog needs a calm gentle companion, or a high-energy play, I adapt to their personality and needs. I have a little bit of experience with obedience training with puppies and can also care for senior dogs. I am currently only offering boarding, walks and drop-in visits but I am committed to making your dog feel safe, loved and right at home - even when you’re away! I am a recent graduate of UTC and just started working for Unum. I work from home most days but have to go into the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays! I’m available anytime that I’m not in the office as my at-home work hours are flexible. When caring for pets in your home, I first like to read the pets profile so I can see if there are any special instructions/needs that I need to know about. I offer a variety of services so how I care for your pet is based on what I am booked for. For walks, I like to find a safe/familiar place to walk them, like your neighborhood. I’ll usually walk them for the full amount of time and make sure they have water when we are finished. When dog sitting, I try to make sure I follow all instructions left by you, the owner. I usually make sure your pet has food, water, walks, and lots of cuddles/play time!
About: Animals have been a part of my life for decades, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. My experience goes well beyond simply loving dogs and cats. Over the years, I have cared for my own animals as well as pets and livestock belonging to others, including dogs of different ages and personalities, cats, horses, poultry, rabbits and a variety of farm animals. I currently provide professional drop-in animal care through my own local farm and pet-care business, where I care for clients’ animals in their homes and follow the routines their families have established for them. One of the things I believe matters most when caring for someone else’s animal is paying attention. I take the time to notice an animal’s normal behavior, appetite, mobility, surroundings and general demeanor. If something seems unusual, I communicate with the owner rather than simply completing the visit and moving on. I’m comfortable with senior animals, young and energetic pets, multiple-pet households and animals that simply need a little extra patience while they get comfortable with someone new. During visits, I believe pets deserve more than food in a bowl and a quick trip outside. I enjoy spending time with them, giving them attention, playing, walking, providing plenty of affection when they want it, and helping maintain the routine they’re accustomed to while their family is away. I also understand how important communication is when you’re trusting someone with your animals and your home. I provide updates so you’ll know how your pet is doing and can have peace of mind while you’re away. Above all, I treat the animals entrusted to me the way I would want someone to treat my own—with patience, kindness, attention and respect. I have a flexible daytime schedule that allows me to incorporate pet-care visits throughout my workday. I already provide recurring drop-in care for clients and plan my schedule around their established routines whenever possible. I’m available for both recurring weekday visits and occasional care when families are working, traveling or simply need an extra set of hands. Because I manage my own schedule, I can often accommodate morning, midday and afternoon visits with advance notice. I provide care in your pet’s own home, where they can remain comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, water, potty routines, walks, medications when appropriate, doors, gates, crates and household access. I pay close attention to both your pet and their surroundings during every visit. If I notice a change in behavior, appetite, mobility or anything else that concerns me, I will communicate with you promptly. I also respect that every animal is different—some want lots of attention and affection, while others need patience and space before they feel comfortable. Your pet’s safety, your home’s security and clear communication with you are always priorities during my visits.
“Autumn took such good care of our two senior cats and was incredibly respectful of of home. She was quick to respond and left us notes daily about how they were getting on. She followed our instructions to a tee which allowed me to relax and know they were in great hands. Do not hesitate to trust her with the care of your pets. We will absolutely ask her back in the future.”

About: Need a girl that can take care of your pets? I have 3 cats and 2 dogs, so I would love to take care of your babies! Will send pics for updates :) I’m currently working part time as a medical assistant! And I’m free on Tuesdays and Thursdays anytime, so just let me know what you want specifically for your pet🫶 I have treats if needed, I also have backpacks/carriers if needed. I usually take care of my boyfriends dog and try to let them out to go potty every hour and give them a treat after :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
