Someone told me to check out Rover for a house sitter to watch our dogs in our house. We were skeptical at first because we never heard of Rover and house sitting dogs. About: For years I have dog sat for family, friends and coworkers. I just love pets, I’m kind of crazy about them. I’m looking to expand my doggie adventures with nice walks and plenty of exercise. I’m also available for drop ins and overnight stays. I work near the airport, so I also pet sit in the Stone Oak/Hollywood Park area. I’m currently working full time for an engineering firm, Monday through Friday. I’m available Saturdays and Sundays pretty much all day. I’ll be available a few days during the week, but after 5 pm and maybe during lunch (depending on distance). I won’t be offering boarding services, but I do have three pets. My dog is 7, two cats are 9 and 5. My dog, Sadie Girl, loves taking walks and people watching. So, I will definitely care for your pets as if they were mine.

About: Provide attention to details and communication through text and pictures daily. Specializes in senior care and accommodations like medication. Daily walks, hugs, and belly rubs. I currently work from home therefore I can be available weekdays and weekends. I am able to provide a routine if needed like walks or feeding time. I live in an apartment that provides pet areas. No other pets in my home (sadly have passed). Daily attention, hugs, playtime, and communication are a must.

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their Little companions. I work part time. But am mostly home. When having pets over I’ll stay at home for the whole time. Give them affection and love. And also love to exercises so playing catch with be easy and effortlessly I have a nice back yard with plenty of grass and room to run around. Pretty enclosed with privacy fence. Very private and quiet. And also a beautiful neighborhood to walk around to stretch their legs:)

About: I have my own personal dog, Quinn. She is a 7 year old rescue pit bull. I got her during covid and we have been attached at the hip since then. I have taken care of my sisters dog who is a frenchie and from taking him on short walks to feeding him his meds in meat, I was always there for him. I have also taken care of my in laws dog when they go on vacation and make sure she is loved and cared for while they are gone. I am very reliable, follow any directions given by the book, and love all animals that come my way. I am a teacher going on summer vacation so my availability will be more open. Every morning I wake up and I take my dog out on her walk and potty break. When I come back in, I feed her and also give her water before I go to work. Afterwards, we lounge around the house or sometimes I take her to the dog park. Then in the afternoon, on her routine, I take her out for her last potty break, and her last walk of the day. When taking care of other pets, I make sure to follow their specific directions they leave me. I have dealt with dogs that have a specific diet, medicines they have to take, or extra energy they have to let out.

“This was our second time booking Sam, and once again, he was fantastic. He’s incredibly reliable and took great care of our dog, Roberta, while we were away for a quick weekend trip. I was especially nervous this time because our longtime dog, Noah, recently passed away, and this was Roberta’s first time being left alone. Sam was thoughtful and attentive—he sent lots of adorable photos that showed she was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of playtime. One thing that really stood out was that he left a kind little personal message on our doorbell camera before leaving. It was such a simple gesture but meant a lot.
