Pet Sitting in Highbanks

About: I grew up with an Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler mix and loved teaching him new tricks, going for walks, and playing enriching games that helped get his energy out. My parents added a Chiweenie to the family a couple years ago, so now when I visit, I love to walk them both! I often dog/house sit for my parents; being in their home environment seems to be most comfortable for them. Aside from dogs, I graduated from IU Bloomington in 2021, and have switched careers to work for a local school system. I am looking for something fun, active, and outdoors for the summer - what better activity than dog walking?! I cannot wait to connect and meet your furry family! I have the summer off to help care for your pups! My current schedule is open and flexible - I can be available almost any time with some notice. Send me a message and I will get back to you ASAP! I will ensure to adhere to any dog schedules/routines, send regular photo/text updates upon client request, and care for your dogs like my own. I will do everything in my power to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. You can expect frequent and thorough communication - don’t be afraid to leave detailed lists/notes of exactly how you want your dog cared for. I will do my best to mimic how you care for your pet to ease any distress and make your absence as enjoyable as possible for them.

About: Hello! I currently work for a non kill animal shelter and researching various dog training techniques highlighting patients and praise. Sharing my love of dogs by offering my services to anything dog related, and look forward to meeting many new dogs and spending time: playing, training, taking care, and even running if your dogs likes it as much as I do! Currently, my typical primary work schedule is Moday-Wendsday with occasional weeks off as work is slow. Besides running trails I'm a homebody who would love to spend my extra time caring for your dog. I'm very flexible but would like to stay somewhat local, but visiting your home is not a problem! My home is a half-mile away from the game preserve, which ofers many lakes and trails to accommodate the best adventures.

About: I’ve taken care of family friends pets and neighbors pets over the years including cats and dogs. I have 5 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I have always had dogs growing up and we also had cats over the years as well! I have 5 dogs and 1 foster cat of my own! My typical day is pretty open at this time as I do not have a full time job, I spend most of my days with my pets and house cleaning! Due to me having 5 dogs I do not offer watching in my home, but I’m more than willing to do drop in visits, walks, or even overnight stays in your home!

About: I’ve taken care of animals for a little over 6 years now . I first started with dog walking and realized how much I enjoy being with animals and taking care of them. I’ve watched dogs and cat for family and friends. I’d love to start caring for animals more so I can eventually turn it into a full time job. I’m currently working a full time job. I get off of work around 3:30 or 4:00 and I go in at 8:00 AM. I will mostly be watching animals after I get done with my job. I would mostly be watching animals in the clients home as my home is not set up to have pets in it as of right now.

I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and hanging out with other’s pets. I am an elementary teacher on summer break. My schedule is very open and flexible. About: What sets me apart from others on Rover, is I take this line of work seriously and I usually go above in beyond. If I am selected to sleep at the house you can expect me to actually sleep there. For every one of my client's I have always slept the night until the end. If a puppy is on site I do continue to train the basics, unless other skills are specified to be trained. I love to keep them active and happy! I spend all my free time with your fur baby! I love to give them time to play and run. I enjoy taking them for walks, or giving them a bath! For boarding, I do not have a fenced yard, but I have an electric fence along with an additional collar. If that is not acceptable to you then I will keep the dog on a regular leash during potty breaks. I have two fur babies of my own that do wonderful with new dogs, they love to play! I live in a suburban neighborhood with a perfect loop to take walks. I can also provide a large crate if needed, otherwise the pet will sleep with me. I do allow them on my bed :) For house sitting+dog, I would follow any instruction given to me! Otherwise I assume the dog is yard trained and won’t bolt across the street. If this is a concern of yours then I ask to please provide me with a leash, thank you! If you do not allow your pets on your furniture then I will continue that behavior for you.

About: Animal love was bred into me. My father grew up on a farm and my mother was a vet tech. I've had animals my entire life. I have been a dog breeder, a volunteer for shelters, I've worked in a pet store, I've helped operate a dog boarding facility for the past 15 1/2 years, and a dog groomer. I am different from others as I specialize in whole pet care, from health and nutrition going in, to calories being burnt off through exercise and play. A tired pet is a well behaved pet. I like to engage their minds while also allowing them the freedom to be a dog, though digging in the yard is a huge no no. I'd like to get to know your pet and love them as if they were my own. My husband and I freelance from home. So whether your pup needs daycare, a bath, an overnight stay or an extended stay, your furbaby has a place to go where they are treated like part of the family. My husband and I, offer our fur clients the freedom to roam our home or we can offer crate training if needed for their comfort or security.
