About: Hi! I’m Mike! I live in Long Beach. I work in the city 3 days a week, but I can choose which days I go in. So, I can be flexible! A little about my background: I was a volunteer dog walker at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh, NY for about 3 years. I would routinely walk strong dogs with a lot of energy and was involved in training them to walk better on leash. During the pandemic, while working from home full time, I became my neighbors dog walker for their Husky and 2 Chihuahuas because why not!! I walked them at least twice a day every day for almost 2 years. I don’t have a ton of experience taking care of cats, but I have friends and family that have cats. I’d be more than willing to help take care of your cats as well! I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I work in the city 3 days per week, but I can choose which days those will be. So, I can be flexible. If for whatever reason, you need to cancel, just let me know at least 1-2 days before. Thank you! I provide dog sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, cat sitting, and cat boarding services. Whatever you need and however much you need, I am willing to give! Looking forward to meeting you and your pet!

About: I have been caring for dogs ever since I can remember and in particular I started caring for them professionally around 5 years ago. I have yet to meet a dog I could not handle, even ones that people would call big and scary. I believe this comes from a firmly held belief that if you treat a dog right, they will stand by you forever. I am experienced with dogs from young to old, small to large, and docile to super hyper. I attempt to accommodate any and all requests to the best of my abilities. In addition I would be more than happy to meet a prospective client free of charge before watching their pet. In general, I am available nightly starting at 7 PM except for Fridays where I am unavailable. Wednesday nights and the Saturday nights I am available from 9:30 PM and onwards. Sundays, I am available all day. In general, I do not watch dogs in my own home. In regards to the pet Owner’s home I do whatever I can to accommodate all safety requests and needs.

“Sydney was a huge help for my family as we needed a sitter for Easter weekend. She visited my girls multiple times and ensured that they were fed. She made sure that they got plenty of time to play and eat treats and provided clear communication to us. I would like to note that I would have appreciated if she wiped the paws of the pups after coming from outside due to the odor. When we came home after the weekend there was a noticeable stench from this. Other than that great job Sydney. Thank you very much.”

“Caitlyn is quick to respond, very responsible, shows up rain or sunshine and very reliable. Thanks”

About: Hi I’m Jess! I have been an animal lover my whole life and saw Rover as a wonderful opportunity to meet some cute little friends and help make some extra money to help me out. Pets have always had a special place in my heart and I would love to meet some of yours! I have had many animals throughout my life from various types of fish, bearded dragon, hamsters, guinea pigs, a small dog (shitzu- Maltese who just passed away last year at 16 years old), a bird Connie (sun conure - 10 years old) and 2 cats Jack and Jill (13 years old). Many friends and family have trusted me to care for and love their pets when they need a little extra help. I am a very reliable and loving pet sitter with a pretty open schedule. I am currently unemployed and looking for a new job after the summer is over so my schedule is pretty free. I primarily live in Babylon, but my spend more than half of my week normally in Long Beach because I play volleyball and have a lot of friends living there that I stay with! So I am open to helping in any nearby neighborhoods. Whether you need me for daily dog walks/ feedings, or want to take a nice vacation but need your animals and house looked after - I am your girl. Please let me know if you have any questions or special requests and I will do my best to help you out! I am currently unemployed and looking for a new job after the summer is over so my schedule is pretty free. I primarily live in Babylon, but my spend more than half of my week normally in Long Beach with at my boyfriends house because I play volleyball and have a lot of friends here! So I am open to helping in any nearby neighborhoods. I grew up with many different animals and always treated them with love and affection. “I highly recommend Kelley! She is an amazing dog sitter! We had a family trip and Kelley cared for our 8 year old lab mix for 5 days. She did a meet and greet prior to make us and our pup feel comfortable. I was able to enjoy our trip without worrying. Kelley was in touch every day sharing updates and pics. I can’t say enough about how comfortable we were having Kelley stay and care for our pup. I will definitely ask her to watch our girl again! Thank you Kelley for taking such good care of our pup!”

About: I don’t just love dogs I live with one of the most high-energy breeds out there a 2.5 year old husky. That means I understand how to handle everything from zoomies to stubborn behavior to keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated. I tailor my care to each dog’s personality and needs, whether they’re playful puppies needing training reinforcement or older dogs who move at a slower pace and need more patience and gentleness. I’m reliable, calm under pressure, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’ll communicate clearly with you, keep you updated, and make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. Whether your dog needs a long bike ride, a quiet cuddle session, or help sticking to a routine, I’ve got it covered. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. I’m used to planning my days around feeding schedules, exercise, potty breaks, and playtime thanks to my own active husky. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check ins, or evening routines, I’m consistent, organized, and always thinking ahead about what each dog needs. Taking care of pets isn’t something I squeeze in it’s something I’ve built my lifestyle around. Whether I’m welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in theirs, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, I provide a calm and clean space with plenty of room to play, rest, and stick to their usual routines. I only take in a limited number of dogs at once, so each one gets plenty of attention and personalized care. If I’m in your home, I treat it with respect and make sure your pet sticks to the schedule they’re used to whether that means walks, meals, crate time, or just hanging out together. I’m reliable, detail oriented, and always make sure your pet gets the same love and structure they’d have if you were there.
