“We are so fortunate to have found Maria and her husband Tony. I felt at ease and reassured during our meet & greet that my senior dog would be just fine despite his quirks. My dog seemed to have loved his stay and I honestly think he came home better than we had left him! He was full of energy and spunk. We look forward to requesting another booking with them soon!”

“Highly recommend Stacey for dog boarding. We kept our pup there for 4-5 days recently. Stacey was very communicative as well as flexible wrt drop-off and pick-up times. They have a lot of open grounds at the property and long leads so that dogs can run around. I think my beagle pup had a lot of fun being outdoors at Stacey’s”

“We are so fortunate to have found Ashley! She is wonderful with our girl, Ebby. It’s such a relief to be able to be away for the weekend and know she’s in good hands.”

“Amanda is absolutely wonderful. Treated my pup like a prince and stayed in touch sending updates and videos. So glad we found her. My only hesitation in leaving this review is that once others know how great she is, she won’t have availability for my dog :)”

“Mary and family were great. Zoe absolutely loved staying with them as much as they loved having her. They welcomed Zoe in as one of their own. That makes leaving your fur babies a little bit easier. Thank you so much and we will reach out again.”

“My dogs family when away from my family. Felt comfortable after meeting them before initial 4 day booking. Equally as comfortable during the 4 days away and slightly MORE comfortable after returning. That’s a lot of comfort!”

“Nick was great with Molly! He sent pictures and updates while she was with him, which I really appreciated. When I picked her up, she seemed happy, comfortable, and like she had a great time. His home was very clean, welcoming, and inviting, which made me feel even better about leaving her there. I will definitely use Nick again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog!”

“Michelle and Sami were amazing!! They took great care of our very active Weimeraner puppy and it was obvious that he was showered with affection by their family. They're very experienced in training/caring for different breeds, and their Goldens were great pals to our dog. We are so grateful for their help and care!”

“Our dog raced to the front door remembering her stay with Jena and Nick from last year. She remained happy and was able to stick to her normal routines while there. Jena sent pictures and updates regularly and was good about reporting any concerns or issues such as the air quality preventing long walks. They were genuinely concerned about Liz’s well being which is so important to us. Our pet was well cared for, and we plan to use them any time we need a dog sitter. We find them to be reliable, caring, and responsible and know Liz is in good hands while we are away.”

“Excellent sitter for my 2 large labs. They were treated like family and even took homecoming pictures! Would absolutely recommend Allison and her family to take care of your fur baby. Great people l!”
“Emily and Patrick were great sitters for Nola while we were away attending a wedding. They sent multiple pictures and video updates for us, and Nola had a great time playing with Eli! Thank you so much 😊”

“Brittany did an excellent job taking care of my baby! I felt very comfortable the entire time Roxy was in her care. Even though it was short notice, Brittany was able to accommodate Roxy with ease. I would definitely use her again in the future, and I would recommend her to anyone in need. Thanks for your help. Roxy and I look forward to another stay with Brittany in the future :)”
About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I’d love to care for your furry family member. I have over 3 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including a German Shepherd/Husky mix, as well as experience caring for farm animals. I also have my own Mini Australian Shepherd, Axel, so I understand the patience, exercise, and attention dogs need every day. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll treat your dog like they’re part of my own family, providing plenty of playtime, exercise, affection, and supervision. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, or simply relax, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and my husband works from home full-time, so there is someone home throughout the day to provide supervision, potty breaks, and companionship. I’m home every evening and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off to spend extra time playing, walking, and giving your pup plenty of attention. I’ll make sure your dog gets the love, care, and routine they deserve while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and understand that every pet has different needs and routines. I will follow your instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, crate training, and any special requests. My Mini Australian Shepherd, Axel, is friendly and enjoys other dogs, but I always recommend a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

“She was so friendly, fast to respond, and took great care of my 95lb mixed breed. He had an injury occur the week before his stay which resulted in needing an unexpected prescription, and Adisyn had no problem handling that last minute change. Fred came home happy and tired like he had a great time. I would not hesitate to use Adisyn again!”

“Alex is a fantastic sitter. She sent me lots of photos of Hank during my trip, and when circumstances held me up for an extra day, she was willing to extend the booking. I can feel confident leaving Hank with her, knowing that he will be in good hands, and I highly recommend Alex to any pet parent.”

“We had such a great experience having Angeline and her family take care of our dog, Marley! We knew right away that he would be well cared for and would love staying in her home. Marley had a fun week playing with their dogs and I know he had a blast because he was honestly smiling in many of the pictures she sent to us. It was great getting to see our pup so happy there! We would absolutely have Angeline watch Marley again! We really appreciated her being so nice!!!!”

“My dog seemed happy and comfortable when I picked her up. I also appreciated Chelsey being available on short notice when unexpected travel came up. Overall, it was a good experience.”

“Lindsay took wonderful care of Loki while we were away. She sent daily pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Loki was happy and well loved. He enjoyed daily walks, plenty of bed cuddles, and all the attention he could ask for. We highly recommend Lindsay and would absolutely book with her again.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Herman home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Herman.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Herman sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
