About: I have taken care of multiple 8 week old pups & 8+ y/o ones as well. I would say I am trained all over the pup spectrum. My jobs are flexible & I normally can be available Monday-Sunday for all your pet needs! So taking care of your pets will not be a problem. I prioritize each pet’s unique needs & routines, whether in my home or the client’s home. In my home, I ensure a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation with the help of 3 dogs who I share a home with. I follow the pet owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, & any specific care instructions. In the client’s home, I maintain their pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I keep the home tidy & communicate regularly with updates & photos to give peace of mind. About: Growing up on a small farm with cats & high-energy pups, I ended-up gaining experience as the neighborhood dog & cat sitter in my as a teenager. It was my favorite job I’ve ever had! ☺️ This included stops-in for daily walks, cuddle-times, & feedings; ensuring they play & move when their owners are away. Occasionally administering medications: (including medications that require a needle), and much more. As I got older, I gained experience working in a Veterinarian office. I’ve spent a lot of time with animals of all sizes and temperaments in these environments, including end of life care. I also have my own at home: two old boys. One sweet & feisty, almost thirteen-year-old blind and (nearly entirely) deaf Dachshund named Woody, who loves to be cuddled. Then, there’s my nearly ten-year-old American Foxhound sweetheart, Popeye, who wants to do nothing but play and be told how much of a “good boy” he is. They’re the best boys anyone could ask for. Currently, I am home, in-between waiting for Medical Assistant Certification classes to start in January, after 6 years of being a stay-at-home-mother. I worked for veterinary services specializing in boarding care for 8 years through out schooling -Will ensure your home is left in the condition received with minimal housekeeping (will take trash out and clean up any pet accidents they may have due to medical conditions. Additional requests can be discussed with or without additional pricing) -Our commitment is to ensure your pets safety, emotionally and physically as if they are our own -Regular updates will be provided streamlining communication -I choose Rover over other traditional “2nd jobs”, because I want to enjoy the work we do! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I have a full-time job, however, remotely!! This allows one person at all times to care for your pets, during most hours! My personal break(s) will be scheduled based on both client and provider agreed upon schedules. For example: after evening pet care, there will be a 2-4 hour provider break for dinner and family time before returning for overnight care. Home has pvc wood vinyl for easy mess clean up. The yard is flat and fully fenced in. Warmer weather will have plastic kiddo pools for dogs to cool off. If your dog weighs more than 85 pounds, I require dogs to be leashed trained and/or with a “no pull” dog harness for the safety of your pet and care taker. Meaning, dogs that continually pull excessively while on leash, will either receive short potty breaks, or only “fenced-in” activities. This will be agreed upon at initial encounter. We understand the need to burn off energy! We want to keep everyone safe while we strive to keep the routine as close to yours as much as possible.

I am on site full time and have been caring for animas for 30 years. I have two fenced in yards and twenty acres of meadow and woods to walk dogs. Dogs can play separate if they prefer or can have access to my personal dogs who are also very playful. Dogs run the house, so your dog can have free time in the home or can be rated. Many restrictions will be based on the owners wishes and the dogs behavior. I have worked with many special needs dogs and can accommodate certain special needs dogs.

About: I am new to Richmond and looking to explore with my pup, Rubens. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels. Would love for my dog to have a play mate during the day. Using Rover to keep a routine and explore Richmond while I look for a full time position. I am currently new to Richmond and in between jobs. I walk my dog anywhere from 5-12x a day from 15-75 minutes (depending on weather, need to get out of the house, etc.). My job right now is to enjoy the outdoors with my dog and yours! Rubens and I welcome all other dogs as family! I live in a first floor apt with a small fenced backyard (only for small dogs). There is a hallway that runs from the front door to the back yard area, which is where Rubens likes to do zoomies or be a watch guard dog for the doors. As far as behaviors, Rubens is allowed on my furniture and has a small basket of toys that he shares. Treats are only during training and water is down at all times. We are pretty flexible, but can also set rules per your request to stay on your schedule/routine.
