About: I graduated with a bachelor's of science in animal behavior. I have worked in animal care for over 10 years in multiple different animal care facilities, including boarding facilities, doggy day cares, animal farms, animal shelters, animal hospitals, and pet sitting. I have managed multiple boarding facilities for both cats and dogs. Through this I have gain a lot of experience managing animal stress and anxiety. I have also gain experience in enrichment. I have been a pet sitter for over 7 years and love to offer this service! Having you pet stay in the comfort of their own home greatly reduces the stress of you leaving. It allows them to keep their daily routines and brings peace of mind to you that they are in good hands. I have experience will a variety of behavior types, medical conditions, and ages. I also have experience with birds, gerbils, rabbits, horses, goats, and chickens. I have a very flexible schedule. I work from home and am available during the morning, day, and night for drop ins or can stay over at your home for overnight stays. I only offer pet sitting in the pets home. About: Don't be worried when you go on vacation again without breaking the bank! I want your pets as well as my own to be in a stress free, safe environment and to have lots of fun, of course! My home is a dog friendly home on a dead end road. Karma loves napping with new and returning friends. She's been doing this her whole life! Kooper enjoys going on walks and playing. The other human in the house and I enjoy creating new memories with each our vacationers and getting to know each one as they become part of our family. Meet and Greets are encouraged but not mandatory before a booking. Having a chat on the phone is always an option! All we require is the pet has rabies vaccination, local vet information, and has had flea and tick treatment. Your food for dog boarding is a must and favorite toy is highly encouraged. I am flexible with drop off and pick up times. I provide different sized indoor crates for crate training/trained pets, used upon request. I have extra leashes and pet bowls on hand. Let's play! *On holidays, I charge extra being that this limits holiday activities. Note: At this time, I only offer sitting for dogs in my home; I don’t currently accept cats. Thank you! House sitting services, I do not stay in the home over night. I work from home so your pets will enjoy being in a loving environment with constant supervision. My schedule is based around the needs of your furry family members. When boarding and daycare in my home, it is my priority that your pets are safe, cared for, and keep to their routine as if they were still home. I work from home so I can accommodate any routine. We find it to be very important to keep as much of their routine here the same as your home to eliminate any new habits. The safety and happiness of your pets are my top priorities. Here all pets are family and treated as such. We do offer grooming services as well.

About: I'm familiar with the dread some of us have when considering boarding our little babies at a commercial dog kennel. It works really well for some, but not for our big babies who are extra sensitive or used to the comforts of home (mom's lap and a comfy couch, just to name a few). My dog care experience comes from raising two of my own smaller dogs, a cavachon and a cavapoo. Lizzy was my cavachon that I raised for 15 years (until May 2024), from puppyhood through her elderly years. She was the biggest baby known among the dog kingdom: her favorite activity was snuggling on the couch. Ragamuffin [Rags], my 4 year old cavapoo, is a big baby too, but he also enjoys catching a Frisbee, sprinting down the driveway after a walk, and chasing chipmunks and squirrels. He loves playing with other respectful and gentle dogs. These two taught me that even "big babies" come in varieties: slow to fast, snuggly to distanced, and so on. Let me know what your big baby's particular needs are and we can evaluate if this is the "home away from home" that he or she might be looking for. I am retired and have lots of time to hang out with the pack. I am sometimes away from home for a short amount of time doing errands or stopping in to see my grandkids. If the weather permits (neither too hot or too cold), I travel on errands with my dog in a dog carrying box. He prefers to travel rather than to be alone at home. If your pup also enjoys car rides more than quiet time at home, you are welcome to request this service if he or she is small enough to ride in a car box [I have extra]. We love to sit together in the main room of the house or just be together as a pack. We go outside often, but I am also watchful for signs that a pup may need to head outdoors for some important business. We usually go on one or two one-mile walks per day, weather dependent. Our pups eat twice a day (generally 6am and 5pm) but a midday meal can be added for those pups used to more frequent meals. Breakfast and supper times can also be changed for a pup's needs.

About: I’ve never not had a pet. I currently have 1 dog and 1 cat as well as care for my brother’s St. Bernard and Great Pyrenees. My grandpups are a Blue Healer and a Black Lab. Animals and I seem to connect right away. In the Fall of 2023 I left the corporate world of office work to pursue enjoying life more and less stress. Early retirement with a side gig…my children are grown and my schedule is open now to help others. I’m very comfortable with animals of all sizes and have experience administering meds. I’m very open to following whatever schedule or routine you have your animals on. If they just need someone to come play or walk them to expend their energy, that’s perfect also.

About: I've owned dogs for 14 years. I've fostered puppies-adolescents-seniors for over a year in the Wausau area and got a quick course in decompression and learning dog body language 101. Two years ago we adopted a fear reactive mix and he has really put me through school on training in recall, muzzles, desensitization, impulse control, co-op care, and preparedness. Do you have a fearful dog that hates everybody? Don't worry, I know how to interact with them and get them to trust me. I work full time, typically 4 ten hour shifts a week monday-thursday. So I'm mostly available on weekends or early evenings during the week after I'm finished with work. With my experience in training a fear aggressive dog and my experience in fostering a wide array of ages, activity levels, etc I feel I'm equipped to do whatever your dog needs during my visits. All with positive reinforcement, love, and patience.
