About: Volunteering at shelters and owning an array of pets throughout my life helps me understand fully how to care for a creature. I've never turned away an animal and have worked with nursing birds, rodents, bunnies, and kittens back to health after rescuing them. I also love working with exotic pets like amphibians or reptiles, but mainly I board and walk dogs! I'm very good at reading body language and training stubborn dogs, and working with animals full time would be a dream career. Right now I'm studying premedicine / ecology at UA and taking care of animals over the summers to save money for school! Going to Albany on the 24th! Until then I can board, but afterwards I'm switching my location and removing boarding from my services as I'll be on campus. Large yard with electric fence and 2 extra collars for a medium dog. Home with 3 accessible stories, dog food, treats, litter box, toys and plenty of enrichment. Dog beds and human beds for sleeping, large safe neighborhood for walks!!

About: I’ve been caring for every type of animal you can imagine since I was 10! I’ve done so personally and professionally and I’ve worked on 3 different ranches growing up. I’ve learned a lot and I know there’s a lot more I can learn from this job field and I look forward to it! I’m available before 06 and between 1130-1300 and after 1700 M-F and open availability over the weekend and holidays! We could work something out if you need different availability during the week, just reach out! I am unable to care for pets in my home however, I will follow whatever regimen you leave for your loved one and make sure they’re accounted for and loved!

About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. It started when I was young, probably around the age of 10, but of course I couldn't drive, so my mom had to help out. I have always had a love for animals, and I always will. I am currently a college student studying childhood education and psychology, along with playing soccer. That may sound like I have a pretty busy schedule, but since I live at home, it is not bad at all. I am also a substitute teacher, which allows me to choose when I work based on how my schedule looks for that given week. Pet safety is of the utmost importance to me. Families are relying on me to care for their beloved animals while away for a day or a few days. Playing outside or relaxing inside are all things I love to do, based on the dog's needs. Walks are always fun, too!

About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs. I currently have two pups and a kitty. My friends and family consider me the go-to caretaker when needed. I prefer pets over most people 🐶🐱 I work full-time. I work in the Utica area on Mondays and Thursdays. I am available most times for drop-ins/walks on those nights, in the Utica area. My schedule will reflect my true availability. I will never accept a job that my schedule will not allow for, as pets deserve the best care! I live on almost 2 acres of land with fields around. I will always use a leash for all safety concerns until told otherwise. I have crate trained all of my dogs throughout my life, therefore feel comfortable crating but only if requested. I will request instructions as all pets have different needs. I will be sure to always follow instructions given.

“We were going to Kenya for two weeks and at the last moment our cat needed to be given medicine once/day. Usually the teen next door would come over to feed the cats but since we were instituting a new feeding regimen requiring wet food with a pill snuck in, we weren’t sure the teen would work. Although David primarily takes care of dogs, he agreed to stay in our house. Riley took his medicine every morning and we had the security of knowing someone was in our house keeping an eye on him. I have a fenced in portion connected to my house with a dog door. I have two 85 ft tie outs for your dog to run on as well. About: I’ve always been an animal lover. When I was a child I had all sorts of different pets. I had fish, hamsters, gerbils, lizards and rabbits. When I got older I had a family dog named Lulu who I helped house brake and train as a pup when I was in high school. When I became an adult I adopted my dog Weston who I’ve had and trained since he was an eight week old puppy. I’m very confident in my ability to help house train your young dog if need be. I understand how much stimulation and exercise they require. I’m happy to provide that through long walks, trips to the dog park and general outings. I have lots of chew toys around and ways to keep feisty puppies occupied. I’ve fostered cats as well as taken care of neighbors’ kittens including providing feedings and litter box cleaning when necessary. I’ve always wanted to have a parrot as a pet so if you have birds that need care I’d appreciate the opportunity to come help out and learn more about them :). I’m currently a full time pet sitter.
