About: Hello. I am currently a college student at the University of Montana. I absolutely love animals. I have been taking care of animals for the last 15 years, walking, feeding, grooming and loving all kinds of animals. I have cared for horses, dogs, cats, rodents and fish. I am excited to be able to offer my services as an animal walker and drop in sitter. I am happy to take your pet on a 30-60 minute walk, play with them. I am also happy to drop in on your pet, feed them, play with them and groom them if wanted. The most important thing to me is that your pet is well taken care of, happy, and you can rest easy knowing that he or she is in good hands. I am currently in school part time and would like to make pet care my primary work outside of school if possible. I am available every morning until about Noon, and every evening after 4pm. I am willing to work with owners on their personal preferences and comfort zones to make sure their pets are well cared for in a way that is best for the involved parties.
“Ryann is friendly, on time, and reliable. I also appreciate her texts/updates. Our mini schnauzer Oli seems to have a great time walking with Ryann. We will definitely book her again :)”

About: I’ve taken care of friends and families pets for years (approx. 12 years) - but after getting a pup of my own 2 years ago, I realized just how little diversity there was for care in my area. I’ve used Rover for my own dog and wished we had more care options available in our area! I would love the opportunity to help you care for your furry family!! During the week I work outside of the home - however my work is fairly flexible. With adequate planning ahead, I can work from home for the day if your pet requires thorough supervision, take breaks for drop ins as often as needed, or do some boarding most every weekend in the winter. Summer as schedule allows. (: I just moved from a fenced in yard in town to out of town w/ no fence. However, temporary panels can be put up. I have a sweetie miniature weiner dog that loves to play! Dogs must be small-dog friendly as I want the experience to be comfortable and fun to both parties.
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Havre is $17

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Havre. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
