About: I've been walking neighbors dogs since I was a small kid, volunteered at local animal shelters (walked their dogs), and also have cared for a senior dog (16 year-old poodle) before. I've learned to become patient with pets, especially when cleaning up accidents! I'm a college student at UTK, but I have open time in the mornings, afternoon, and night every weekday. UPDATED: Every weekday I'm available before 7am, then between 10-11:30pm, then my evening/night times vary based on work schedule. On weekends, I have meetings in the afternoons, but I can still care for pets in the morning and night. I'm confident in my cleanliness, care to detail, and love for pets. I'll care for pets with my whole heart, love them as I would love my own pets, and ensure the pets have a nice experience with me.

About: Animals have always been a vital part of my life. I currently live with 2 dogs( an Australian Cattle Dog and a Yorkie), 5 cats, a bearded dragon, 2 dart frogs and 4 fire bellied toads. I have owned special needs dogs and cats and am empathetic and understanding of the responsibility that come with that. I have worked with dogs and cats off all sizes, temperaments and backgrounds in animal shelters and veterinary hospitals. I am comfortable with making sure your pet receives any routine medication that he/she may need while under my care. Specialized diets are not a problem either. Your pets safety and health and your peace of mind is my top priority. Anything that I am capable of doing to help you and your pet I will I have very flexible availability this summer. My optimal time for check ins would be in the morning and early evenings. I am willing to work with what works best for your pet. I can give any required medication or supplements. I will spend my time playing or cuddling with your pet. I will play fetch with your dog if you have a fenced in yard and walk leash trained dogs. If you have a cat I will play with them or cuddle them, or just enjoy their company. Different pets have different needs and preferences for affection and play, I will follow their lead and not push them or make them uncomfortable. When introducing myself I will go slowly and let your pet guide that interaction. I speak to animals kindly and softly and handle and pet them gently.

About: I’ve been in rescue for about 6 years now! I’ve fostered over 200 animals, whether it be dogs, puppies, kittens, cats, and even done hospice. I’m experienced in giving medication as well as neonatal care. I’d love to branch out in animal care and start caring for animals outside the shelter, which is why I’m here! :)) I have two dogs of my own Joey and Pickles they are the sweetest seniors. “All I can say is Gad is awesome.we just completed a two week trip and Gad took care of our fur babies while we were gone . Our dogs loved him and he spent a lot of time with them. They are both senior dogs and need a lot of care . Pills twice a day etc… and Gad went over and beyond expectations. One of my dogs wasn’t eating for a couple of days and Gad even bought him chicken and grilled it on the grill for him . Well needless to say my dog ate . Gad is very respectful and very responsible. I have been in 4-h training with my dog growing up so I have some experience with training as well! I know our furry friends can be timid at times so I am more than willing to let them slowly adjust! So if drop in visits are needed I can provide! I have experience with many animals, other than cats and dogs as well! I can’t wait to get started! I have owned 4 guinea pigs and a hamster so I have lots of experience with small animals!
