About: As a kid, I helped care for our family cats and learned early what it means to be responsible for animals. In high school and college, I started overnight dog sitting for my aunt, which helped me build confidence and consistency in caring for pets in someone else’s home. As an adult, I’ve continued pet sitting for three main families, becoming someone they regularly rely on for trustworthy, attentive care. I’m calm, dependable, and comfortable with routine care, overnight stays, and making sure pets feel safe and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine since I work part time and have a flexible schedule. I already spend a lot of my day being active with my own dog—we typically go on 2–3 mile walks daily, which I really enjoy. I love being outdoors and keeping pets engaged and exercised, but I’m just as happy providing calm, relaxed care for pets who prefer a slower pace or more cuddles and downtime. My routine naturally revolves around making sure animals feel comfortable, cared for, and well looked after. We have a large, secure, privacy-fenced yard where dogs can safely spend time outside, and our neighborhood is quiet and safe for walks. I always prioritize safety, supervision, and making sure pets are comfortable and stress-free in my care. I’m also very happy to care for pets in their own home—whether that’s letting dogs out for potty breaks, going on walks in their favorite areas, feeding meals and treats, or spending time giving cats attention and cuddles. I follow each pet’s routine closely so they feel secure and cared for in their familiar environment.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life so taking care of them is easy and enjoyable. I have 2 M-L dogs that want more friends to play with. I work the night shift and my boyfriend works days, so there will always be someone home with your fur baby. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and we have a fenced-in backyard they can run around in. For Summer too, I just bought a dog pool and we have some sprinkler set ups for fun time outside:) I walk my dogs after I get off work (usually around 9a), I stay a bit so they can eat, then go to bed around 11a-12p. My boyfriend gets home around 5p and lets the dogs outside in the yard. When I get up by 7p, I feed the dogs and we sit and play. I let my boys on the couch and in bed with me, they are absolutely spoiled. I don’t have any crates but we have a 3 bedroom house I can put my dogs in if needed. I always enjoy feeding my dogs special and nutritious meals because I’m really into health, so your dog can try some new foods!
“Harlee was absolutely amazing! We came down for a wedding with our dog and was nervous about finding someone to watch him for a few hours we were gone, but we were very happy in our decision with her! She sent us updates with pictures and was always very good about communicating with us. She was also extra amazing with getting us in last minute. If we ever come back into town, we will definitely use her. THANK YOU!”

“Bell enjoyed the time with Drusila. She went for walks in the park and played with toys. Drusila spent all the time with Bell, took great care and awesome photos! Thanks Drusila. ”
“Jack & Josie had such a great time with Bobby and his 3 Frenchie Friends!! Bobby was super accommodating and sent multiple pictures while we were gone and kept us updated the whole time! We will definitely be contacting him again when Jack & Josie aren't able to go out of town with us!!”

“Sean was amazing with Harley! He communicated/gave me updates the whole time he had Harley and sent pictures. He took great care of him and made sure he got his daily walks and exercise. I will deff keep Sean as my primary dog sitter now!”

About: I've had dogs by my side for as long as I can remember, and they’re truly a part of my family. The lifelong experience has taught me how to understand their needs and personalities. I’m passionate about giving them the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, I’m here to make sure your dogs feel happy and well-cared for while you’re away! I attend classes at A-State part-time and work part-time, I’ve never gone for more than four consecutive hours and spend at least 50% of my time at home. I dedicate a lot of time to giving my fur babies attention and I will do the same for yours. Day-to-day routines while boarding would depend on your animals habits and routines! My apartment complex has a fenced in doggy park with unlimited access and lots of space for walks! Inside, there's plenty of room for lounging, with cozy spots for napping and a variety of toys to keep them entertained. The environment is pet-friendly and designed to provide a calm, loving atmosphere where your pets can feel at home and enjoy their time with me! About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other pets of all sizes and temperaments. My background includes daily walks, feeding, administering medications, and providing plenty of playtime and affection. I’m comfortable with senior pets, energetic puppies, and everything in between. My goal is always to keep pets happy, healthy, and safe while giving owners peace of mind. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule. I’m available Friday evenings through Sunday evenings, and also some weekdays (typically late afternoons or evenings) depending on my class schedule. When caring for pets in your home, create a safe, cozy area with their bed, toys, and fresh water. Follow the owner’s feeding schedule and give plenty of playtime or walks as needed. Keep food and water bowls clean, or pick up waste promptly, and maintain their usual routine for comfort. Always have the owner’s vet contact handy and offer lots of love and attention so the pet feels secure while away from their family.
About: I’ve had many pets growing up! I currently have 3 dogs. An 8 year old golden doodle, a 5 year old mini australian shepherd mix, and a 1 year old yorkie! I provide care for my pets every day so pet sitting is not anything out of routine for me! I’m available to stay at your house, let your pets out, or take them for walks at all hours of the day and night!! Usually I try to let them out to play every 2 hours if not sooner and hang out with the pet as much as possible! Everything will vary on the needs of the client though :)
About: Hello! My name is Marsha, and I’m excited to introduce myself as a sitter on Rover. Although I currently don’t have any pets of my own due to my busy schedule, I have a deep love for animals and am eager to share that with your furry friends. I am committed to providing your home and pets with the utmost respect and safety. My goal is to offer your beloved pets not only care and affection but also a safe and nurturing environment. I look forward to using my time with your fur baby to both love and learn, ensuring they receive the best possible care while you're away. Hello! My name is Marsha, and I’m delighted to introduce myself as a new sitter on Rover. I’m currently a full-time Doctoral degree student in the NEA area, with work Monday through Friday and weekends dedicated to catching up on studies. Because the demands of my program make a traditional job challenging, I’m excited to use this platform to supplement my income while indulging my love for animals. Although I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due my beloved Dexter passing away after 17.5 years, my passion for animals drives me to offer the best care to your furry companions. I am committed to providing your home and pets with the highest level of respect, safety, and affection. I’m available for pet sitting most afternoons and evenings, and I can’t wait to spend quality time with your fur baby, ensuring they receive all the love and attention they deserve while you’re away. To provide exceptional care for pets in you' homes, I start by understanding your furbabies routines and needs through an initial consultation and written instructions. I will stick to their regular schedule for feeding and exercise, while ensuring their environment is safe and comfortable. Maintain cleanliness and respect the client’s property, and be vigilant about the pet’s health, noting any changes and administering medications if needed. I also like to communicate regularly with updates and be prepared for emergencies with contact details and a clear plan. My attention to these details will ensure both your fur baby and your home are well cared for while you’re on duty. I am okay with being recorded in home if you feel more comfortable have access to view your fur babies safety as long as private areas from the bathroom have no recording devices. I truly just want to give you the best experience that I can.

Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Harrisburg home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Harrisburg.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
