About: I've been taking care of pets for my family and friends for a long time. I love animals and I love taking care of them. I am currently working full time from 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri. I can starting working after 5 and I am free on the weekends. I know I would be a great fit for being a pet sitter. I will come to the house to feed the animals and play with them and making sure that they are in good hands. With my pets, I make sure they are being well taken care of and being loved everytime. I also have pet insurance on each of my pets.

About: I have owned and cared for all types of pets and animals all of my life ranging from dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, horses and ducks. I was taught at an early age how to care for my own pets, that they were my responsibility. Pets in my care will be treated like my own, who is very spoiled. I consider pets part of the family and I keep mine for life. In my care, any instructions given for your fur baby will be strictly adhered to. I have owned puppies and dogs of all sizes. The largest being Roudy, my 225 pound English Mastiff. I have also owned horses, ducks, cats, water turles, hamserts, guinea pigs and a ferret. I have also raised Golden Retrievers. My very first job in high school was working for a local veterinarian assisting in every aspect of the business from vaccinations to assisting in surgeries (my favorite) to helping with farm animals and giving medications. I currently have a very active young Border Collie named Bailey who loves playmates. My large fenced yard, along with walks and daily fetch, allows for plenty of exercise. Your baby would receive the same attention that is afforded to Bailey. They will become a part of my family while they are here. If so desired I can send daily updates and pictures to offset any anxiety that you may have leaving your baby in new hands. I am retired so I have nothing scheduled outside of the home on a regular basis except for volunteering a few hours a week at at local non-proftit Veterans Organization that provides resources and programs for suicide prevention and stress management to veterans and first responders . This is a farm conisting of many programs. I am working with horses, cows, turkeys, chicken, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbitts, dogs, cats, and mostly therapy horses. I am home full time to care for all of your fur baby's requirements and needs. I have a large fenced yard and friendly dog to keep your fur baby company and exercised. I also have a large crate and outdoor kennel and dog house if your pup requires either of these for any reason. I do allow animals on my furniture but will keep them off of it if that is your wish.

We've recently lost our 16 year old tabby, Suka, and our 11 year old German shepherd, Copper in the last 2 years. Please reach out we would love to help assure the animals are cared for! I’m currently in a down period for my main job so I have a pretty available schedule till late August. I also have a cat so I do already have habits for taking care of animals I would care for them as if they were my own but also follow any rules that the actual owner may have in place. Feed, water and take them outside when the time is needed.

About: I’ve worked with cats and dogs from all walks of life. I have a wide range of experience from working for an amazing rescue called Canine Connections and personal experience. Canine Connections rescue is a program within the Washington state juvenile institution that teaches the juvenile residents how to care for and work with cats and dogs. I was an employee and ran this program within the juvenile institution. We would take in puppies/dogs from local humane societies to train them generalized life skills, walking skills, and take complete care of multiple dogs at one time. We worked with dogs of all different sizes, ages, and breeds so during the training it was important to determine target behavior that the individual dogs would need to succeed in their future furever home. The puppies/dogs would be posted for adoption once they’ve gone through the program and training. I have experience with all types of handling equipment (front/back harnesses, gentle leader, prong, etc.), walking skills/basic obedience training, and the everyday care of dogs who are timid with people and/or other animals to very excited and distracted dogs. We trained dogs with positive reinforcement, which includes a lot of patience and treats, and taking the time to learn what the dogs strengths and weaknesses are to be successful. We also had a program that socialized and cared for cats and kittens while they waited to be adopted. I realized that I have a passion for working with animals, and I would love to continue in this field since I recently moved to this area for my new chapter in life. My friends and family have come to me over the years to assist with problem behaviors and care for their pets. I have 3 dogs of my own that are apart of my family, they are 2 pugs and a Newfoundland so I have years of personal experience working with small and large dogs. I have a lot of experience working with my own dogs and in a kennel that requires 24/7 care. I am experienced with walking and training dogs, and I also love to just hang out with an animal for their entertainment (if you find yourself talking to your pet like a human then I’m the perfect person for you - I’m pretty sure my pups can understand everything I say to them & they talk back in their own way). I have dealt with animals who eat anything that’s up for grabs to a very specific diet. I understand the importance of routine for our animals and will respect what you need for your pet. For special care - If you need to make a very detailed list I would love for you to share with me and know it will be followed. I am comfortable and familiar with oral medications from puppies/dogs at the rescue I worked at and dogs of my own. My pugs are higher maintenance so I am familiar with medications administered by mouth, ears, and eyes. I also love to brush and maintain animals fur/coats, it is really a good way to bond if your animal is comfortable with it. I am currently going through a grooming course, and I have experience of my own from my personal dogs and working with puppies/dogs at the rescue. This includes working with animals that do not like or are new to grooming. I am mainly experienced with simple brushing and bathing, so I will stick to that level for now and I hope to be a groomer in the future once I’ve gone through my course and gained experience. You don’t have to worry about coming home to a fresh bob cut on your pet, luckily I have dogs of my own to practice on for now! About: I have taken care of many types of dogs from German Shepherds, huskies, doodles and more. I am good with dogs and am strong enough to walk any kind of dog. Very reliable and have pet sat for many of my neighbors over the years. I am currently a high school student who does online college and plays soccer. I can usually check in on pets normally throughout the day and have a flexible schedule for the most part. About: Hello, my name is Kathy. I am a owner of an adorable black cat named Roger. Pets love me so much friends call me the pied piper when their dogs follow me around. I have 6 current clients that I pet sit for. Duties include, letting dogs out to go potty, taking for walks, feeding and staying overnight as needed. I can even bring in the mail and water your plants as needed. I prefer to work in Vancouver but am willing to travel to ridgefield, camas and battleground as well. Travel to Portland will cost an additional $10 each day for travel. I work part time but have a flexible schedule and can work around your pets needs. I am available for overnights m-s except for when traveling on vacation. I love taking your dogs for walks and playing them at home.
