“Janelle came thru in the clutch for me on an unplanned weekend trip. Didn’t have to worry that my fur son wouldn’t be take great care of. Thanks again Janelle...Maximus & I will surely be seeing you again.”

About: Since I was a kid I’ve taken care of dogs, not just my own but also friends and family. I have experience with almost any breed and all ages. I also was a dog bather for a year. I’m currently working only 4 days from 3pm to 9pm. I will have plenty of time to spend with your babies and have the best time. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your furry baby company. If need it I can easily crate either my dogs or yours no problem!

“Edward has an amazing gift with his ability to relate to dogs. Our shy dog warmed up to him right away and I swear both dogs are disappointed when we come home and Edward leaves. We never worry about a thing when Edward is dog sitting for us.”

“Madison was perfect! Our babies were so happy and well cared for. Madison was great with communication and pictures. It liked like fun was being had by all! I absolutely recommend Madison. She is top notch!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We cannot say enough amazing things about Hallie! She stepped in on short notice to care for our boys, Loki and Maverick, and completely exceeded our expectations. This was the first time we had ever left our six-month-old golden retriever with anyone, and we were honestly very nervous. But from the moment Hallie arrived, she put us at ease. She stayed in our home and was incredibly respectful, clean, and communicative. Hallie kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the weekend, which made such a difference and allowed us to actually enjoy our trip. It was clear the boys had a blast with her—they were happy, well-fed, and kept on their regular routine. Hallie truly went above and beyond, and we feel so lucky to have found her. We are already looking forward to having her back for our next trip. Thank you, Hallie, for treating our pups like your own!”

“Nina is a wonderful sitter for my two furbabies. They are so happy to see her and are melancholy when she leaves. She follows my directions and is flexible with changes. I’m always at ease when she is with my girls.”

“Taylor stayed with our babies for 4 nights, sent photos and left the house just as clean as when she arrived! She was very responsive and all four of the babies were relaxed and happy when we returned. We'll definitely be asking her back!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with their pets. I’m confident with puppies, large breeds, and senior dogs alike, and I always treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether your dog needs energetic walks, gentle care, or just lots of love—I’m here for it all! I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekday evenings, and I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s needs. Your pup will get lots of attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. I care for pets exclusively in their own home, where they feel most safe and comfortable. I always follow your instructions closely and keep your pet’s routine consistent—whether it’s feeding, walking, crating, or just giving them some love and playtime. I treat your home with respect and your pet like family

“It’s very clear to us that Paige is a BIG animal lover! She treated our sweet girl with great care while we were traveling, and checked in with us each day with photos of her adventures. We’ve already rebooked Paige for dog sitting.”

“Christie is amazing. This is the second time we’ve been able to use her services and the boys love her she’s extremely communicative and she treats them as her own. She has definitely become a favorite for us, and for our two bulldogs Christie is able to manage any behaviors that they’re having along with their upset tummy’s from nerves. I cannot read her high enough.”

About: I am a retired Registered Nurse, my husband Keith and I love dogs and cats. I know what to do if an emergency arises! We treat our pet clients and their home as if it were our own. We cared for many pets in Indiana, and now have decided to join Rover here in Florida. Due to Rover policies I cannot add any new testimonials. However, references from current clients are available upon request. My husband and I are both retired, we can have one of us at your house 24/7 if needed. When we take on an assignment, the pet's welfare and happiness comes first. The house will be in good hands and plant watering, etc. would be done if needed. We simply follow the instructions exactly as the owner requests. If they are allowed on the bed and want to sleep with us, that's what happens. If a pet is not allowed on furniture we of course respect the owner's wishes.

About: I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember and currently have 5 dogs and 1 cat I care for. I also have experience working as a kennel tech for 2.5 years and still currently employed where I do things like Feed, medicate, walk, bathe, vaccinate, and other services clients may ask for. I take care of 5 dogs and 1 cat at home and at work I care for plenty more dogs and cats. I am constantly running around making sure they are fed, medicated, and fully updated with additional services clients request. With my job in an animal hospital I am experienced in seeing changes in dog’s body language and knowing how best to care for them for the current situation. I have experience caring for everything from small dogs to the biggest dogs.

“Barry did a GREAT job of taking care of our two Doxies ! They were as happy as they could be when we got home. (They told us they really like Mr Barry and he can come over anytime)”

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of dogs for friends, family, and my own pets — from small, spirited Dachshunds to energetic, playful Labradors. I’ve shared my home with several dogs over the years, including my current rescue, Xuxa. My experience includes daily walks, attentive care to feeding and potty schedules, basic grooming, and reinforcing training routines. I understand that every dog has its own personality and needs, and I take pride in providing patient, loving, and reliable care for each one. I’m currently taking time off from my career as a nurse and am new to the Fort Myers area as I get settled in. I have very open availability and a flexible schedule, so I can easily work around your needs. Please feel free to reach out — I’d love to help. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so your pet can get to know me and feel comfortable. This also helps me learn their routine, behaviors, and any do’s and don’ts. If you’re short on time, no problem — I can quickly adapt to their potty, meal, play, and nap schedule. I’ll provide regular updates and keep an honest, detailed activity log during my care.

“Taylor was awesome with our dog, Nico! She stayed with him for a long weekend and kept us updated with texts and photos while we were gone. It really put our minds at ease. He's normally pretty timid around strangers, but when she came to meet him, he immediately jumped into her lap. He was totally at ease! We definitely recommend her services!”

“Mia really enjoyed having Mary stay with her while I was away. I came home to a happy dog which is my most important criteria for an excellent “puppy sitter”. I have booked Mary again.”

About: We always had a shelter animal when kids. I, now volunteer at the animal shelter. I have been around animals for decades. I am starting off with dog walking and pee-pee breaks during the time you are away. Day or night. I have a VERY flexible schedule. I would like to move up to dog/house sitting if you are away but I want to get my feet wet again after relocating back after Hurricane Ian. I will walk for 30-45 minutes if your animal can or wants. I like to brush them because it feels so good and is relaxing, if ok with you?! We can tweak how you want things done and I aim to please and give your animal love and attention till you return. At this time, I do not have a pet. I do however, volunteer at the animal shelter and love it!! I just relocated back to Fort Myers since Ian. When I had a dog he was family! Your animal will be treated like my family too, because I know how much he/she means to you.

Alyssa W.
“Alyssa was a rockstar with my high-octane pup, Peanut. This dog has two speeds—full throttle and asleep—and Alyssa kept up with her like a pro. She sent me hilarious updates and pictures of Peanut mid-zoomie, looking like she was having the time of her life. It’s not easy to tire Peanut out, but somehow Alyssa pulled it off. Came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog who’s already waiting at the door for her next hangout with Alyssa.”

Harlem Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Highly recommend Taylor! Our two frenchies were well taken care of in our home and loved while we were away. Taylor is very communicative and provides updates throughout the stay. She was also very accommodating to our travel schedule. We will definitely book with Taylor again if she is available knowing our dogs and home are in safe hands!

Dustin did a great job with our crew (5 cats 1 senior dog). He responded immed to texts. He sent pics and confirmed all was good with our family. A couple of our cats are shy and hide and he put in the effort to find them to check on them. We also had a hot spot appear right before we left on a cat so he had to deal with checking on the sore and applying salve as he could. It was more expensive than we expected, but at least we felt like all was okay at our home. New to the area so give him a chance.
