“Wendy and her husband were so nice during the meet and great and tour of their vast property. The property had a great country feel and lots of space for our dog to play with supervision. She explained how the dog kennels worked, which were a great size with open air and heated indoor area. Wendy answered all of our questions and was a great communicator before, during and after. Our Golden Retriever gravitated to her from day one. She was boarded from drop off on 11/22 to pickup on 11/29. Absolutely loved the videos and photos she sent during that time showing our girl happy and playing her heart out. Upon arriving back at home our golden had a nice long nap and was back to her normal routine upon waking up, which says a lot. We felt the boarding fees were appropriate and are grateful to have found Wendy. We would highly recommend her and will continue using her services.”

“Heidi and her family did a fantastic job of watching our Dog Hazy over the week of Thanksgiving. We have a high energy 2 year old lab. She took the time to throw a ball for her daily and really made her feel part of the family. We have never had anyone watch our dog overnight and for a few days like this before. This was a great option and we could really see that our dog was treated well and I will definitely have Heidi and family watch Hazy again when we travel.”

“I was very satisfied with Lindsey and Leland taking care of my dog. I received daily updates and felt my pooch was comfortable and safe. I highly recommend Lindsey and Leland for your boarding needs.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mikey. I left my two dogs with her, a senior dog and an almost 1 year old puppy and I had no doubts that they would be taken care of when I dropped them off. I got pictures and videos frequently but that’s not what set her apart. My senior dog required a little more patience and maintenance and she took such good care of him. My puppy had the worst timing when she got her first cycle two days after we left. I offered to send supplies and profusely apologized but Mikey told me not to worry and instead told me to enjoy my vacation. My two dogs were probably a little more work then I thought but she never made me feel bad about it. I would recommend 100 %.”

“Suzanne and her family were amazing to our pup. We loved getting the photos and updates throughout our trip. We know she was well cared for and would highly recommend Suzanne to anyone looking for a caring dog sitter.”

“They took great care of my dog! I got wonderful pictures daily showing how happy my girl was snuggling with the family. I'm so happy that I'm using them again next week for another stay ?”

“Ashley and Todd are such wonderful and caring hosts. We left our two dogs with them for a long weekend and they treated them just as lovingly as if they were their own. They were great about providing us updates on how our pups were doing, and made accommodating our drop-off and pick-up times an ease. Thanks Ashley and Todd, and our boys will look forward to hanging out with you all again soon!”

“Brittany is the perfect dog sitter. I really appreciated her calm relaxed manner, it made me feel instantly comfortable and relieved any anxiety I had about leaving Phoebe with a stranger for her first overnight stay with someone other than family. Her home is clean and well organized for dog sitting and she even has her 2 small children well trained to interact with dogs. Lovely family. Plus dogs get a walk and or playtime at the dog park. She was very happy dog. Very experience and I will definitely be using Brittany again. Highly recommend her!”

“Stephanie is a very friendly dog lover who gave excellent care to my dog. She had daily walks/ hikes with her own dogs & plenty of special attention. Her fenced yard is a nice secure area for the dogs to play. I would definitely recommend Stephanie.”

“Kelly was fantastic! She sent pics everyday and a small update or observation on our dogs . They were cuddled and cared for. She was very accommodating when had need to change the pick up time. I highly recommend her !”

“My. Five month old puppy was well cared for by Serena. He is a energetic, agile, inquisitive little guy and can be quite the handful. He came home shining from a brushing and was happy in the pictures Serena sent to us. Thank you, Serena.”

“Debbie was fantastic, she had excellent communication and treated Myles with care. Due to him being very playful and wanting to play too much being very young it's not the ideal fit with her dogs. Not Debbie’s fault at all. She was very kind. I would use her again under different circumstances.”

“Oscar spent a few days with Heather and was clearly well looked after, relaxed and happy. The communication was great and it's always nice to receive pictures and updates—I can only recommend Heather and would happily book with her again. Cheers!”

About: I have extensive pet care experience from giving insulin to agility training my own dogs. I love to teach dogs new tricks or basic obedience skills. I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. I have 5 fully fenced acres so there is lots of room for your dog to run and play. I work full time but would love to do drop in visits or can provide morning or evening care for your cats and dogs. I can also provide over the weekend care at my house for boarding. I’m my home. I have 5 fully fenced acres for dogs to run. I have two standard poodles that are very friendly and love new dogs. They are obedience trained.

About: We always used Rover for our little miss while we were away. She weighed 12 lbs and had health issues later in life. She recently passed due to old age and instead of owning another new pet we decided to help other people have a happy safe environment for their fur baby. You can tell when you enter a home if it’s truly the right place for your beloved pet. We want to provide that right place for you. We are mostly interested in the small vulnerable dogs that need extra attentive loving care. We are very dedicated to the pets needs and safety. So much so that a dear friend told me that when she died she wanted to come back as my dog. LOL. She saw how we raised our dog, the same as we raised our kids. Lots of love and dedication to their needs. Typically it is just my husband and I but sometimes our two grandkids come to spend the night. They are so good with animals and enjoy playing with them. It’s all about respect and that’s our priority with all animals. We are retired. We love home gardening in the summer and love to go on small daily walks. In earlier years we raised seeing eye dogs for the blind. It was challenging but fulfilling. The hard part was getting attached to the dog but giving it up to go to a new home with someone who dearly needed their helping eyes. We are experienced with professional leash training as well as other aspects of professionally caring for dogs, and special needs dogs. We can administer medicine, eye drops, ear drops, dietary needs. Often the most important job is just to make sure that the “Scooby” treat is doled out at the right times. It can make the time away from their family more tolerable. We are more than glad to forward daily pictures and updates to the away family. Although a picture we posted shows a swim pool we DO NOT have a swimming pool. We know your fur baby’s safety is priority. Our fenced yard is large and perfectly safe from wildlife. We keep a constant watchful eye out at all times. Small dogs are more vulnerable and like very young children should never be left without supervision. We are more than happy to incorporate your pets routine into our daily routine. Daily walks, playing outside, and comfortable rest areas. Bedtime is the crucial time for the pet to feel safe and loved. Our bed or their bed, it’s really up to them.

“We could not have asked for better love and care for our three babies while we were gone. We had zero stress and could fully enjoy our time away. Thank you soooooooo much!!!!! You are truly a blessing!”

“Treva is very knowledgeable about animals. Their health and safety is always a concern. She has watched my dog buddy for overnight stays and also weekly stays. Buddy is shy and timid but he loves going there to visit and be with her. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for your animal.”

Kim & David S.
“They have a nice large fenced in yard and only keep one animal at a time. They treat animals like members of the family. Rest assured that if you leave your fur baby with Kim Stricker they will be fed and watered, walked, given a nice place to sleep and most importantly loved like a member of the family! The only thing you have to worry about is that they get spoiled so much they may not want to go home.”

Harlem dog parents share their Rover experiences
Wendy is our go-to dog watcher - she's incredibly kind, always accommodates our needs, and makes the whole process so easy. We especially appreciate the regular updates and adorable photos, which reassure us that Cody is having a great time and he ALWAYS returns home happy and relaxed.

Wendy was phenomenal. She was communicative and extremely well versed in the frenchie breed, which put my mind at ease. She has a fantastic set-up! Gunner loved his time so much, he instantly fell asleep in the car after pick up. Would definitely book again! Thanks Wendy!
