About: I'm frequently doing outdoor activities with my dogs. I've had dogs for over 15 years. Bolt I found in the side of the road and he’s been a wonderful addition to the pack (I’m a foster failure 🤷🏼♀️)! Rollo I met at a dog path with his former owner and I happily took him in when I was asked to adopt him. If your dog is a runner, so am I! We are a very active group, but are happy to lay around and snuggle if that’s your dog’s preference too. I am flexibly available. I am a military Officer. My backyard has been newly fenced in to provide the best security for your pets while they are here. Some quick repairs have been done to the fence, since running the kennel. (Great updates coming soon)!! There is minor dirt but mostly grass that is well maintained. Considering how many pets come to my home, we have a company come out to spray the outside and inside of the home for a variety of pest to include by not limited to fleas, ticks and flies. This is a home-based business, thus leaving out key information about your pet is a non-negotiable and could potentially be a hazard for your pet and others. If your pet’s care guide is not an accurate description on their behavior once arrived, early pick-up will be required, so misrepresentation is highly discouraged. This is not a pet foster home, mean-time in between time, shelter, or rescue. It is prohibited to bring your pet(s) here, while you are looking for a new home for them. I do not wish to be a part of that transaction; have tried it and wish nothing but the best for you during that adventure. Thank you for understanding.
“Geraldine and her husband has been amazing with our Nui boy! They have been amazing in watching, caring and loving him while we went on our family trip to Hilo. She kept us up to date on how he was doing every day and took lots of pictures of him which made us so happy that he was enjoying himself. She is great with Nui as he is very anxious and it was his very first time away from us at all. She’s amazing and so much so that we asked for her to watch him for the day so that we could enjoy celebrating a birthday without having to worry about him. About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old and have always considered animals part of the family. I currently have two 8-year-old cats, and until recently I also had two dogs, including a 12-year-old German Shepherd/Malamute mix who sadly passed away from heart failure this year and a Pit Bull who passed away the year before. Caring for pets throughout their different stages of life has taught me how important patience, attention, and love are. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, giving pets attention and companionship, and keeping their normal routines while their families are away. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day. My only regular commitments are school drop-off and pickup. This allows me plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I live in a quiet apartment community with a small dog park that I can use for appropriate dogs. I have two friendly 8-year-old cats who are comfortable around people and pets. I also have a toddler who loves animals and a 5-year-old who is more timid around very energetic dogs, so I’m especially mindful of each pet’s temperament and comfort level.
