About: I have taken care of pets since the age of 11, with experience of working at a spay and neuter clinic and a humane society. I am available almost any day of the week any time! I have two little kids, so any pets would need to be ok with kids. I have a nice big yard, and one medium sized dog. He is always happy to make new friends. He is fully vaccinated. I also have one cat who is friendly with dogs and other cats.

About: I was born loving dogs and cats! I am extremely attentive to their needs and always try to make them happy. I can assure you I will treat your dogs like my own and my dog is very spoiled. My home is one story and I live very close to a park. I would be happy to help you take care of your fur babies. I work Monday thru Friday and would love watching you fur baby on the weekends. I can walk dogs or visit cats after 5 pm cdt. I have a fenced on yard so dogs are free to run and sniff. I can also take them to the park where I love to walk.

About: Professional Care with a Nutritionist’s Touch Your Pet’s Wellness is My Business While many people on Rover are looking for a side gig, my entire professional life is built around the health and happiness of animals. As the owner and operator of Pet Wants Glasgow, I spend my days focusing on what makes pets thrive—from high-quality, slow-cooked nutrition to the importance of structured exercise. When I’m looking after your best friend, I’m bringing that same professional standard and specialized knowledge to your front door. Why I’m Different: Nutrition Expertise: I specialize in nutrient-dense diets and have a keen eye for dietary needs, allergies, and picky eater behaviors. Community Trusted: You may have seen me at Dennison’s Roadside Market or the Ace Hardware adoption events in Hart County, or at fundraisers in Bowling Green and Barren River State Park. I am a deeply rooted member of the community who believes in doing things right. Professional Reliability: Running a C-Corp means I value punctuality and communication. You’ll get consistent updates and plenty of photos so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Hands-On Experience: I've been a dedicated pet parent to six dogs over my life and have worked with a variety of breeds and personalities from German Shepherds to Toy Poodles. The "Premium" Visit Experience: Tailored Approach: I adapt my pace to your pet’s specific energy level, whether they are a high-energy athlete or a senior who just wants a slow sniff around the yard. Wellness Focus: Every visit includes a quick check on behavior, energy, and coat health. A Special Perk: With your permission, I’m happy to include a sample of our premium, slow-cooked treats from Pet Wants for your pet to try! "I treat every visitor with the same focus on longevity and vitality that I give to my own. Your pet's health is my business—literally." Hello! I’m David. Friends and family know me as Dwain, and my life is dedicated to the health and happiness of animals. As the owner of Pet Wants Glasgow, I don't just "watch" pets—I advocate for their total wellness. Whether it’s a high-energy dog walk or a quiet cat check-in, I bring a level of professional oversight and nutritional expertise that most sitters can't offer. Professional Standards for Every Pet As the owner of a pet nutrition franchise and a C-Corporation, my approach to safety is built on professional accountability. I understand that your pets are family, and I treat my responsibility to them with the same level of care and organization I bring to my business operations. My Safety Protocols: Secure Transport: I use a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, which is well-equipped for safe pet transport in various weather conditions and terrain. Structured Interaction: I focus on "calm energy" and structured routines to ensure pets feel secure and unstressed, whether we are on a walk or a drop-in visit. Knowledgeable Oversight: My background in researching animal behavior, nutrition, and husbandry allows me to spot potential health or behavioral issues before they become problems. Community Accountability: Being a local business owner in Munfordville and Hart County means my reputation is my most valuable asset; you can trust that I will be there exactly when I say I will.

About: I have taken care of many animals over a 5 year time. I’ve watched anything from horses to fish and I love them all! I would enjoy caring for whatever animal you may have as it’s what I do in most of my free time. I have a full time office job that I love! I’m currently a full time online student at EKU, but make plenty of time for my own pets along with everyone else’s as I have a flexible schedule! My pets are very well loved. I’ve always grown up on a farm with various animals. I currently have 4 dogs, 2 cats, a pair of Jersey cows, and 2 miniature horses of my own. I do plan to expand my animal collection one day and explore into more animals!

About: I have been working with all kinds of animals since I was a young child. I have even worked at as a veterinary assistant and a zookeeper. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years and due to my specialized experience, I can take care of almost any special needs or medication requirements. In addition, I have special experience in animal behavior and training to notice when something may be wrong. Most of all, I love dogs, cats, snakes, rodents, and all kinds of exotics. I have also fostered animals to make sure they don't end up in shelters. Animals tend to notice me from across the room and I'm sitting on the floor with them before long, enjoying face licks or purrs. This is the kind of TLC that will be shared with any animal I have to chance to spend time with while you're away. My schedule is very flexible. I tutor, pet sit and volunteer at a local theater. So, it is easy to fit our schedules together in a way that works for everyone. In addition, my husband sometimes helps me out to make sure we can get the hours you need. He only comes if he is able to come to the meet and greet and be approved by you. He is incredible with animals as well. There is no extra charge, just 2 incredible animal lovers for the price of one. At home, I have 3 indoor cats and a corn snake. All our animals were either from a foster home or strays. We've also taken in animals with special needs as fosters or permanent in our home. They call us when an animal needs extra care. Our 12 yo female found us as a stray and we think she was the runt of the litter. She's a total diva princess The snake is what we call a foster fail because we ended up adopting her because of her her special needs. She came to us after having been injured by cats breaking into her cage at the home before us. We gave her special baths, pain medication and anti-biotic shots and nursed her back to health over months. By the time she was healed, she was ours. She is now the longest corn snake we've ever seen at over 5 feet. We show a lot of love to our cats and they want to be around us as often as possible. They always have access to food and clean water, and their litter is cleaned daily. When we have foster rats. They get a yummy salad and/or leftovers daily, and any leftovers are removed from her cage shortly. Our most recent geriatric rat (They only live 3-5 years and we get them towards the end of life because no one else wants them) had extra time daily because she was neglected for the first 2 1/2 years of her life and this gentle love and training turned her into a sweet rat, enjoying the last few months she had to the fullest. When pet sitting, I spend extra time taking care of all animals needs and giving them the love they deserve. I also send at least one picture a day so you can feel connected to your babies while you're away. I also have no issue bringing in mail, taking out trash or other daily things that may need to get done. I like to leave your furry children and your home better than I found it. We have had dogs, but not currently due to the size of our home and wanting to have more flexibility in our schedule for pet sitting, etc.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
