Doggy Day Care Hardin

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of every age of dog. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian my entire childhood. I was even going to try and start the process, but then life happened and my plans had to change. My plans took me to being a stay at home mom to 3 kids who also love animals. While I am no professional, I love trying to help my dogs learn new tricks or commands. Once again not a professional, but I do all of my dogs grooming needs myself. I have clippers and a grinder for nails and all kinds of brushes. For the babies not afraid of vacuums I also have a pet grooming vacuum. I can brush bathe and clip dogs nails at the owners request. If you bring your own shampoo the bath will be at no cost to you. If you dont have any it will just be a small fee for me to use some that I have. I am able to give medications if need be. I can also follow special diet routines if necessary as long as you bring the supplies that are needed. I am a stay at home mom for our 3 kids so when your fur baby is in my care they will hardly ever have to be kenneled. Potty breaks can be as often as needed based on what they are used to at their actual home. Daily walks can be taken(depending on the weather). I would be delighted to care for your dog while you’re away! My home is shared with my husband, our three children, and two friendly dogs who love to play in our fenced yard. I also offer daily walks to keep your pup active and happy. I normally follow a two-meal schedule with my own dogs, but I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine. Since we also have a cat, it’s important that visiting dogs are comfortable around cats. My goal is to make your dog feel as happy and comfortable as possible while you’re gone. If there are any special routines or comforts that help your pup feel at ease, I’ll gladly accommodate them when I can. For higher-energy dogs, I even have experience biking with pups who enjoy an active workout.

About: I had a dog growing up (Hershey) and helped take care of him. And I have always enjoyed playing with friends' and family's dogs. I absolutely love walking and being outside and would love canine companions to encourage me to do it more! I've hosted one friend's dog at my place already (see pics; that's Georgia sleeping on her little doggy mat in my living room). Overall, lifelong love of dogs + good head on my shoulders = strong instinct for what they need and when. I work from home, and other than a few set calls, I set my own schedule. And I work from a treadmill desk — so when I say I love walking, I mean it! I take frequent breaks to get sunshine and exercise outdoors, so you can expect your dog to get the same! I can keep an eye on your dogs the entire time I have them! I have a fenced-in, upstairs deck (with a staircase that can be easily blocked). And a backyard that is NOT fenced, but where I could tie a leash around one of the deck supports, so your dog can be outdoors as much as they want! Inside, I have a fully hard, vinyl floor upstairs and a carpeted area downstairs, with vinyl flooring in the downstairs kitchen as well. So whichever surface your dog likes to sit on, I can accommodate!

About: I have a home in Wentzville, Missouri that has a large fenced in yard with a dog door leading to the back yard. Plenty of room to run and always someone here to keep your dog safe and supervise while they exercise and play! I do own 4 friendly rescue dogs who are full of energy and great playmates for other friendly dogs. I also have a rabbit, but she can remain caged if needed. I am in veterinary school and have been a nurse for over 20 years. I want to be able to experience caring for all types of dogs and keep you at ease knowing they're in a loving home. My dogs make great playmates and are high energy but gentle. My dogs are friendly, I have a 6 foot privacy fence that is always secure. I also have a dog door so your dog can go in and out as needed for potty breaks but can be blocked off if needed. I am skilled at animal care and can act in an emergency if needed. I am familiar with both human and animal medicine so I am not intimidated by any medications, conditions, or special needs.

About: My experience includes caring for cats and doggies, including pups, with a variety of personalities and energy levels. Super comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining feeding and medication schedules when needed, managing puppy potty breaks and exercise, and providing the same attention (and cuddles) for kitties. I prioritize safety, consistency, and positive interactions to ensure pets feel well cared for! I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to do drop ins when needed as well as at home care/boarding attentively. I also live with my partner who can offer a second set of eyes in the afternoons and evenings! As part of our normal routine to stay active, my partner and I regularly like to step out for sun and take brief walks around the community area—so unless specified otherwise, we are happy to take your doggo along with us on our short walks (during boarding services). We have a two bedroom apartment where pets can roam and hang out in the common living space and guest room, as needed. Pets will not be allowed in our primary bedroom.

About: Growing up, I lived on a small farm and have been around animals my whole life. I’ve taken care of other peoples pets as well. I’m currently a teacher, and I will have more availability during the the summer. Right now I’m free on the weekends and also some evenings. I have a fenced in yard as well as my own golden doodle. About: My dogs are like my children, and I treat other peoples' dogs the same way. I have had dogs growing up and currently have two. Two of our seniors have recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and we miss them dearly. In addition to clients through Rover, I have done dog-sitting for friends and neighbors with great success. I make sure dogs in my care have plenty of companionship and exercise. I believe in rewarding dogs for good behavior rather than punishing them for doing something wrong. I do work full time as a teacher but am home in summers, and my husband works from home most days. If I’m visiting or staying at your house, there is a possibility I would need to bring my children (ages 9 and 7) with me depending on my husband’s schedule, so they would get lots of attention! For boarding, we have a dog door and a fenced in yard, so your pet can roam freely if you choose. We would just need to make sure our dogs all get along! I adore dogs and will shower yours with attention. Dogs in my care get very spoiled with lots of love! I’m a teacher, so I have more time in the summer but do have evening and weekend availability during the school year. If you choose to board, your pet will have 24/7 access to the yard through our dog door! My husband works from home most days with the exception of Wednesdays, so there is almost always someone home with your pet unless we are gone for activities with our kids. I have a fenced in yard, a dog door, and a friendly dog. If your dog is used to having free reign of the house when you’re gone, that will be the case at our house as well, and they will have access to the yard through the dog door. The door does have the ability to lock if escaping the yard is a concern. If your dog doesn’t learn the dog door, we will ensure they are able to get outside plenty. We will also respect any requests to crate during the day or at night.

When I started, I genuinely just loved being around animals and wanted a way make an income while doing something I enjoyed. Years later and I still hold the same sentiment. My family and I have always welcomed dogs and cats into our homes and cared for them as additional kids in the household. I took a break from pet care to focus on building myself and my goals, but now as a homeowner of three years, I want to extend my home and services again to your fur babies. I work full-time, 100% remotely from home for a law firm located in Pennsylvania. I am always at home, especially during the weekdays, with my six pets (two dogs and four cats). I have a flexible schedule and can arrange my work day accordingly. I am able to work with you and your pet's needs, so just communicate with me! I have a 0.3 acre fenced yard that my two dogs absolutely love to race around in. They get great exercise out there and are able to release their high energy. I am attuned to my animal's needs and provide a lot of supervision and care since I am usually at home. The same way that I would treat my own pets/home is exactly how I would treat and respect yours. I am reliable, punctual, and compassionate.
