“Had a work emergency happen and needed a sitter to give my boys a pee break. Alysabeth responded quickly, even with a late/short notice she was able to accommodate our needs quickly. She followed instructions perfect, no issues at all, and helped a lot with a moment’s notice. Would recommend to care for your pets.”

“Sierra was Amazing! I had worries finding someone who was able to help with 2 puppies, both different needs and schedules; especially with one who needed to be given Medication. My boys both warmed to her quickly and I loved she had playtime with my pup who was unable to go on walks to stimulate him since he has a broken leg. Will different go to her again if I need someone. Thank you Sierra!”

“This was our first time leaving our fur babies with someone that isn’t family and I really appreciate how kind and communicative Kyra was! She took our directions and was kind whenever I would bombard with questions about our cats, I’ll definitely be booking again! :)”

“Sophia was very sweet and professional at all times. She took care of Bruno like it was her dog. We left completely comfortable to our weekend trip knowing he was in good hands. She spoiled him by giving him his daily belly rubs and playing with him. We came back to our Bruno boy and he was beyond happy to see us and could tell he was in good hands with her. I highly recommend Sophia if you’re looking for someone to take care of your dog. You won’t regret it.”

“I am so thankful I gave Rover a try. Desiree was outstanding. She dropped in as scheduled, provided pictures and even cleaned a little mess the dogs made. Thank you Rover and thank you Desiree I will definitely use you again.”

“Mariella was amazing with our dog and cat! She went above and beyond to make sure they were happy while we were away as well as helped out with some things for the house. We were able to enjoy our time away without a single worry about our pets. Our dog is very high energy and can be a pain in the butt, but Mariella took on the challenge and took extra care to make sure our dog was happy and fulfilled while we were away. Will definitely book again if we take another trip!”

“Cami was sooo quick to respond and immediately did a check in for my kitty when the family member we had lined up couldn’t make it. Such a relief to get a picture of my baby and hearing all is good!!”

“They had watched over Zeus for a week for drop ins. They did a marvelous job and the service that was provided is unparallel. Thank you once again. We will definitely come back again for years to come.”

About: I have great experience with several cats and dogs. Been around animals with health issues and was sure to make sure to keep eye on them to prevent any issues. I have been through an abundance of safety training through work and have have the proper training for any events they could occur and will be able to prevent.
“Second time working with Alexis and we are very grateful for her. She went above and beyond for us when she came into the home for a check in and noticed our dog was shaking and scared because of a beeping noise in the house. She went out of her way to help fix the problem to calm our dog. Very appreciate!”

About: I've taken care of my own dogs for nearly a decade. As a teenager I spent a short amount of time as a dog/house sitter for a neighbor. I currently work part-time in childcare so I have plenty of time and energy to spend with your pets and provide a fun, safe, and loving environment. I have two friendly small dogs who I take for frequent walks as we don't have a fenced in yard. Since I will be taking care of dogs outside of my home, this isn't an issue. However, it has given me plenty of dog-walking experience. I'm committed to the safety and well-being of the animals in my care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
