About: My name is Emiko, I’ve been living on Maui for awhile now but new to Rover. I have a spaniel mix pup named Zephyr (after the wind in The Odyssey bc he runs like the wind), and grew up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I love animals and the healing energies they bring in their personalities and just love how funny they are. Getting a dog has been one of the most healing things in my life, he is literally my best friend, baby and side kick and I understand finding someone who will take the upmost care for your pet is a crucial decision. Especially if they come with baggage or little quirks (Zephyr is a rescue) or they need extra care like medication, etc. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own—feeding, walking, playing, following any other additional instructions and giving them lots of love to feel safe and happy 🤍 I am currently phasing out of my part time job that is three days a week to working remotely from home full time. Currently on the days I work, I will only be available for drop ins early morning by 8AM or after work at 7 PM Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure your pet feels secure and loved at all times. I’m attentive to their body language and needs, and I never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I’ll treat your pet like family—with patience, care, and lots of affection. You can trust that they’re in safe, reliable hands with me.

Maria arrived early at our condo so she could get better acquainted with Lily, but also because she wanted to make sure that she had all the necessary info to take the best care of our pup. Lily loved spending time with her, and the night went by without a hitch. We will definitely be using Maria again, since her rates are reasonable and she truly loves animals. About: I have taken care of dogs since around age 11, having households pets since then. Also have cared for other family members and friends dogs when they are out of town. I am looking to work part or full time with dogs or cats. I have a flexible schedule and am able to make last minute changes if needed. At home we have a fenced yard as well as taking the dogs on walks. For friends and family members I take them on walks as well as staying in the home to play with them.

About: Aloha :) My dogs and I would love to have your dog stay at our house in Olinda! We have a fenced yard and a few (partially fenced) acres of land beyond that for the pups to play and fetch the ball (depending on your comfort level with that, of course). Delilah is a sweet 3 year old golden retriever who loves equally to play and chill. Bear is a 1 year old golden Aussie who *always* loves to play and love on other pups! We live 10 minutes from both Olinda forest and Makawao forest so we usually go for morning walks there 4-5 days week. We would love to bring your pup along with us! I work from home during the day and work for ~ 5 hours in evening 2 nights a week. I am never gone for more than that 5-6 hour time frame at a time and on top of that, we have a doggy door for the dogs to go in and out freely in our fenced yard. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to hang out in and a few acres beyond that (partially fenced) for them to run around and get their energy out in. I’m always watching the dogs when they are beyond the fully fenced yard. I will also makes sure you are comfortable with your dog in this situation before doing so.

About: My husband and I have an undying love of animals. We are currently travelling, caring for four-legged friends along the way. We hope to find somewhere to settle down and retire, and my husband knows that when we do, I am going to have a farm! I grew up with pet raccoons, skunks, snakes, cows, goats and I love them all. We even travelled to Thailand so we could help care for elephants and wash them in the river. We would LOVE to watch your fluffy friends and to love them in your absence. This is a cat and dog-care-site, but we will take reptiles/bunnies/birds/donkeys/emu/horses/you name it! As long as you can show me how to provide the care they need, I am willing to take it on. I was born and raised in Wisconsin farm country. Animal care just seems to be almost innate to kids born in that environment. I need to be honest though, animals are SPOILED ROTTEN with us. We will do our best to stick to your routine so as to not upset your sweetest family members, but "My dog is very independent and doesn't need much attention," won't work with me. There will be constant snuggles, scratches, loves, and basically your babies being told that they are the BEST PUPPER EVER on a regular basis. If possible, it would be wonderful to learn about any dog-friendly restaurants and cafes in your area, as well as your pupper's favorite parks and walking areas. With your permission we would love to bring your pets with us on car trips and short hikes in your area. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your most important family members. ** If you are wondering why our fees are so low, it is due to the fact that we will be staying in your home during our travels. We are exchanging our services for the lodging. We can adapt to any routine you currently have. It is best to keep your pet in a routine that they know and not create unnecessary stress. I’m great with giving pets a bath, yes, even your cat too (; I can scoop their poop, give them cuddles, clip their nails, and love them as if I were their human too. Bring em on! Depending on which service you choose, I would also like you to meet my family so that you are comfortable not with just myself, but anyone who will be around your pet as well.
