“JaNiya is a phenomenal housesitter, especially if you have shy animals (but *any* animal would love her!). We have two skittish greyhounds and a very shy adopted cat. Within one day, our cat was sitting in JaNiya’s lap, and our dogs were relaxed and happy. I couldn’t believe it! She has such a calm, tender presence, and you can tell she adores animals. She’s even studying to be a veterinarian! Do not pass her up! She’s the only housesitter we’ll use from now on!”

Before moving to Chattanooga, I cared for the same family’s dog for over two years, building a strong bond with both the pup and the family. I’ve also worked as a nanny, where I was responsible not only for the children but also for their family dog—making sure they were walked, fed, and loved. I now have a puppy of my own, so I understand the daily needs, attention, and patience dogs require at every stage. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family! I work during the weekdays, but I’m fully available in the evenings and at night for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I’m also completely free on weekends. In my home, pets get a safe, clean, and cozy space with lots of love and attention. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible. We own a wide variety of different animals and we also run a professional dog training business. Have extensive experience with many different kinds and breeds of animals. About: I’ve taken care of animals from a young age and I’ve grown to love it, I love it so much I’m going to school and turning working with animals into a full time career. Over the years I have pet sit, dog walking , and cat and dog grooming anything you name it!! I’m currently still in college and next year I’m starting my veterinary journey. About: I have dogs of my own and love other people’s animals as my own. I have also rescued several dogs in different situations. I understand and know the importance of the needs that dogs have and genuinely enjoy providing that. I know how essential it is to have someone who genuinely cares for animals, be in the position to look after other individuals pets. I’m currently working part time and looking to spend more of my time with animals. As I hope that this will be my first priority. I have mastered proving an animal with its basic needs such as providing a safe environment, essentials like food and water, and of course having fun with my pet. The importance of understanding the animals routine by having clear communication with the owner is my top priority.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my family my whole life. I have sat in-home for other families for about 3 years now. I love animals and will treat your fur babies as my own! I also have experience with giving medication to dogs. I am available every day, including weekends and some holidays. I can be available for a quick drop-in or to stay in your home while you’re away. I am available to sit in your home. We can meet to go over any special care your pet may need and discuss any routines they may have.

About: I have experience comforting and caring for high-strung dogs and am good at bonding with dogs that are weary of humans. I love animals and care for each one I meet as if they were my own. I’m starting part time college in the fall so my schedule is very flexible aside from afternoons on Mondays and mornings on Wednesdays. I’m available for boarding any day of the week. I have two friendly cats at home that love to play and cuddle together and I know they would enjoy making new friends. Not to worry though! If your pet isn’t good with cats I am able to keep them safely separated. My yard is not fenced but I love to hike daily so your dog will have no shortage of adventures.
