I have two Siberian Huskies name Kira and Sven. I also have 3 kids 9, 3, and 2 years old that absolutely adore animals and are learning how to take care of them as well. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get bathroom breaks, and enjoy some playtime or attention to keep them comfortable while their owners are away. For walks, I ensure they have great exercise and tire out any zoomies they may have and I follow any specific instructions the owner provides.
