About: Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a 20 year old college student remotely studying Psychology and Criminal Justice. I’ve had dogs and a cat since I was young and was always held accountable to take care of them! I took a Veterinary Science class in High School and dealt with animals on a daily during this course (Bunnies and Puppies.) I have recently owned hamsters and fish as well that were 100% my responsibility. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have 4 years of paid experience with pet sitting for neighbors. Animals deserve the world and I love to make a difference in their lives even if they don’t understand it :) I am also willing to negotiate pricing based off your animals energy/need for attention/etc. Please reach out to me with any additional questions and I’d be happy to answer! About: I have experience in daycare/boarding settings, i have experience with high drive dogs, I do dog sports with my own personal dog so i am pretty confident in my handling skills. I have done years of research on dog related things some including understanding body language, knowing when a dog is uncomfortable or needs to be removed from a situation, what things are good and what are bad, how to use training tools properly if needed, learning the genetics of dog breeds and just over all temperaments that certain breeds have. I grew up on a farm full of dogs and other animals ive always owned dogs especially bully breeds ive been around dogs will all ages, behaviors and sizes my family and friends all know my love for animals and how good i am with them and how much i care about them even when they arent my own. I currently am unemployed, i am a stay at home dog mom and aside from the occasional grocery store run i am at home with my dogs. I will care for your pet to the best of my ability and under any instructions that may be given to me. I will care for your pet like they are my own and keep them as safe as possible while under my care!

About: Many members of my family have had dogs, cats, and various other types of pets for my entire life. In my own home, my parents began giving me pet care tasks to help me practice caring for animals when I was pretty young. These skills have developed significantly over the years. I am a loving and caring person and have always had a playful side. This being said, I am still able to handle stressful situations with a firm but compassionate hand. This gives me a distinct advantage when it comes to pet care. Currently I work two jobs, one full-time and one part-time. The full time job have regular hours M-F, 8am to 4pm. I would be able to do drop in visits both before work starts and after it ends. I usually work my part time job on weekends in the late morning- early afternoon. They are very flexible and as long as I get enough notice, I will be able to schedule visits then as well. I feed my cat on a regular schedule so I am able to do the same with your pet. I am also able and willing to play, bathe, or just hang out with your pets. Unfortunately I would not be able to have your pets in my apartment, as my complex does not allow unauthorized animals but I am more than willing to come to you!

About: I’ve never lived a day in my life without having a dog by my side, and I can confidently say that I can’t imagine it any other way. From puppies to our older friends, I love them just like they’re my own. After many years spent with different breeds, sizes, and ages, I am also well versed in pet first aid and common health conditions. I am especially fond of senior dogs and would be honored to care for them. I have recently begun a full time job in Richmond but still petsit often since I truly enjoy it. My schedule best suits check ins with pets in the mornings or evenings. You will never have to worry about how your baby is doing. Because of my own personal (and very anxiety inducing!) experiences with being away from my boy, I am very diligent about keeping pet parents in the loop.

About: I work at the VBSPCA in the kennel so I know dogs pretty well. I currently have a 7 year old dachshund named Leo who’s great with other dogs and cats. My work schedule varies month to month. I can walk dogs or take care of pets in your home if my work schedule allows, or I can board in my apartment (dog friendly dogs/cats or small animals). I also have years of experience medicating dogs, cats, and small animals, and can trim nails on dogs and cats. I work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week at the VBSPCA. It varies each week but I do get a monthly schedule each month. I live in an apartment in Newtown on the 3rd floor. I walk my dog or take him to the dog park when he needs to go out. If your dog has a routine he/she follows, let me know and I can accommodate!
