Since dogs are not allowed on any of the trails in Glacier National Park, we looked to find someone to watch our dog for a day while we went hiking. Luckily we found Emily and her sweet family, who were willing to look after him on only a few days notice. They were SO kind and loving to Ozzie and we felt completely at ease having a day at the park knowing he was in great hands. He got to run around with other dogs and had a great time. He was a happy and tired pup at night. I wish we lived closer to Emily and her family so they could look after him again when we need help. :)”

About: In my lifetime I have been surrounded by animals since birth. Chickens, cows, goats, horses, dogs, cats, and sheep. I’ve always had a strong love for animals. I’ve worked in a vet clinic helping my mom as a vet tech. I have done grooming, daycare, and I’ve dabbled in dog training as well. Over my time dog sitting, I have taken care of puppies and senior care dogs. I currently work for a lady dog sitting. I don’t get a whole lot of jobs. So I have a lot of free time for other dog sitting jobs. I take my dogs to the dog park as often as I can! They mostly get to go on the weekends. I definitely prefer to take care of animals in my own home just because I do have a group of my own animals but I understand pets being more comfortable in their own homes.

About: I love dogs and look forward to having my own again one day. Right now I volunteer at the Humane Society and work remotely so I’m able to spend time with your pets! In the past, I’ve had two black lab rescues, Bode and Buddy, and we took them everywhere... swimming, rides in the car, and out to dinner when we could! For in home visits, I’m available on the weekends from 6am-11pm and able to adjust my routine to meet your pet’s specific needs during that time. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. While I don’t have a fenced yard, we’re surrounded by dog-friendly walking trails for leashed adventures and exercise. I will ensure all dogs are securely leashed during outdoor time and can provide crate accommodations upon request during in-home boarding or check-ins. Whether your dog or cat loves snuggles, playtime, or peaceful naps, they’ll always be treated like family here!

Meet and greets are the most important part of this job to ensure trust in each other ❤️ I am available to come to your home and care for your dog in their familiar environment. Show me your routine and I can adapt to training, crating, walk times, play time etc. I have a fenced yard and currently have a female corgi at my house, I can give your dog the utmost attention while in my care, and they can have a friend to play with if their meet and greet is successful
