About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs. I have a beagle back home with my family, which has taught me how much pets mean to the people who love them. I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, dogs who need medication, and pets with all kinds of personalities and routines. Every pet is different, and I take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and comfortable! My goal is to give every pet the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own while you’re away. About: Pet care is almost second nature for me. I’ve been entrusted with caring for pets since I was a child and started taking it more seriously in my adulthood. Having furry friends to hang out with is truly the highlight of any day/week for me. I work in the restaurant biz, but I’m able to set my schedule for the most part, so taking on pet sitting gigs is easy for me. While I live in an apartment, it is VERY pet friendly. It has a dog washing station on my floor, as well as multiple pet play areas around the property. Inside your fur babies can enjoy spacious areas and easily accessible food an water station. And for the babies that like to feel the wind in their hair, I’ve got a balcony that looks over a portion of River Walk! I initiate play time and adhere to any specific walking and eating schedule your baby may have.
About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.
About: I've had a Yorkie Terrier Mix (Tico) since I was about eight years old and would consistently take care of him while home. My tasks consist of frequent walks to ensure fitness, meals twice a day, a snack or two if he's being good, and making sure he looks handsome and is clean. I would also frequently take care of local friends pets and homes while away on vacation! I grew up taking of my dog Tico since I was about 8 years old and have taken up that responsibility since then! Ever since moving away I’ve missed getting to spend time with furbabies! If hired for services, I will ensure that I will take care of your home and pet as I would mine. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
