“My two Girls, Sofia and Carlie spent this past Sunday with Desiree and her family. Desiree always sends pics and updates throughout their stay and by the looks of the pics, my "Girl's' again felt relaxed and at home. It's comforting knowing my Girl's have a happy and secure place to stay.”
“Natalie and her husband did a great job taking care of my dogs. She took the time to play with them and sent videos/pics throughout the day. Thank you for all your help with a full day of doggy daycare and working with my schedule.”

“Luna had a blast with Kathryn. She invited us to come a bit early to introduce our dog to hers, insuring everyone got along. We would absolutely rebook again.”

“Leo and Clarie are literally life savers! They are the sweetest and most gentle spirited people ever! We had last minute change in plans that required us to travel to El Paso from Rosewell and they were willing to take in our 5 month German Shepherd with less than 24hr notice. Sasha had a great time playing and they understood how puppies can be puppies . I would definitely recommend their services to anyone !”

“Cheryl was so good with Junior. He is big dog boy. He recognized who was in charged. Her son Aiden took Junior under his wing. I highly recommend Cheryl and Aiden. I don't think I'll ever use anyone else. Junior is definitely a handful of feels an inkling of fear he takes advantage. Cheryl has a lot of experience with dogs that was apparent from the start. Gentle yet firm. Thank you.”

About: Lifelong dog lover and proud rescue advocate, I’ve been surrounded by furry companions since childhood. As a devoted dog mom to my schnauzer and golden doodle, I know firsthand that pets are family—not just animals. Every dog I’ve welcomed into my life has been rescued, because I believe every pup deserves a safe, loving home. When your babies are in my care, they’ll be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own—like family. 🐾💖 I am super lucky enough to be a full time dog mom! My babies get all my love and attention all throughout the day and so will yours I have a big fenced back yard the dogs are welcome on the couches and beds with a 4 bedroom house there is also plenty of room inside and plenty of space to sleep
About: We love all pets in our home. We especially favor play time with them at home or even sometimes at the nearby parks. We don't discriminate, we love all pets! I work part time on a flexible schedule, which means lots of time at home to give all pets that extra attention. When I am away, all pets will be separated for security. I always make sure to keep pet parents updated with lots of pictures and any other updates. Also come check out where your pets will be staying while you're away. Rest assured your pets will be loved like our own and taken care of like royalty. We have plenty of space to play inside and outside our home and our yard is an acre and a half with 2 separate fenced areas.
“My dogs had such a blast, once we got home they knocked out. They loved running around and being crazy dogs. I love that Kris was with them the entire time to play and keep them company. I would highly recommend her for a sitter, and when needed we will use her sitting services again”

“Carla and her husband are fantastic. Great sitters, great communication, and they clearly loved Penny like one of their own. I also appreciate their flexibility with timing, and how well they explain their procedures with their animals. Would absolutely recommend. We look forward to booking with them again!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? Probably the fact that I literally can create a whole personality and voice for a dog within 20 seconds of seeing them, just so I can pretend like were exchanging conversations. My favorite part about meeting new dogs is the opportunity to get to see their individual personalities and building their trust into my little human home. Im currently a student in the MPH program for NMSU. Currently my courses are 100% remote format and I work from home so I am constantly present. I enjoy taking my dogs to the dog park daily or keeping them entertained outside with music or a bonfire at night. My duplex home has an all around chainlink fence for the front yard and 10ft wooden fence for the backyard. It is very puppy proof with no holes, no wires or gas/power lines running through the bottom of the yard. I have 2 dog, a 6yr old red heeler mix female who is approx 48lbs and loves to chase and a 5.5 yr old male blue heeler full breed approx 44lbs who loves to fetch and chase little dogs. Both are medium sized dogs taller than a beagle but smaller than a labrador. Both are up to date on ALL vaccinations and gets nails trimmed bi-monthly.
“Vanessa took great care of our dog, Poppy. She was very communicative and even sent us a few pictures! Poppy came home happy and I would definitely recommend Vanessa to others.”

“Marissa was extremely kind and helpful with taking care of our dogs. We got updates throughout the day and my dogs couldn’t look any happier. Her willingness to accommodate us was more than we could ask for. We will definitely be using her services again.”

“I love having Alyssa as a sitter. She has watched my personal dogs and many of my fosters. She is so kind and reliable. She’s so flexible and has even accepted some of my last minute requests. I’m going to definitely keep booking her in the future. My dogs always come home tired and well taken care of.”

“Ilyana was once again a life saver. We had someone cancel on us last minute and it was our wedding day. So I was scrambling to find a solution and Ilyana was more than willing to help. We are so grateful and appreciative of Ilyana taking great care of Zoe!”

About: About Me Animals have always been a central part of my life. I grew up in a home with three dogs and six cats at the same time, so I’m very comfortable managing multiple pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have experience with rescue animals, including those who may be anxious, reactive, or need extra patience and understanding. Creating a calm, safe, and reassuring environment is always my priority. I understand that being away from their owners can be stressful for pets. I focus on maintaining routines, providing consistent care, and giving them the attention and affection they need to feel secure. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, or somewhere in between, I adapt my approach to what works best for them. As a Registered Nurse, I’m confident handling pets with medical needs, administering medications, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. Your pet’s health and safety are always taken seriously. My Home I have a 2-year-old son, dog and a cat in our home, so any visiting pets should be comfortable around young children and other animals. I’m attentive to introductions and boundaries to ensure everyone stays safe and stress-free. What You Can Expect - Reliable, attentive care tailored to your pet - Experience with anxious, rescue, and reactive animals - Comfort with medical needs and special care instructions - Clear communication and updates while you’re away - A calm, structured, and caring environment Your pet will be treated with the same level of care and respect I give my own. We are new to El Paso so looking for furry friends to fill my time before starting work late June. After that, I will work full time during the day M-F. In the evenings and on the weekends, we take a family walk around the neighborhood every day. We have a fenced yard with grass. Pets are allowed in all spaces and left only outside alone if they want to be, otherwise they are where we are. In your home, I will abide by all requests and ensure all needs are taken care of.
“Katrina is a Class A sitter. She is totally dedicated to caring for your dog and meeting their specific needs. She cared for my small Maltipoo (Lumi) very well and her German Shepherd (Uma) was gentle and kind to Lumi. Katrina was very open to changes in my drop-off and pick-up times. That is very much appreciated. You won't be disappointed with her services.”

As of August 2026, there are 232 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Hacienda Acres. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Hacienda Acres commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NM ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
