About: Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a 20 year old college student remotely studying Psychology and Criminal Justice. I’ve had dogs and a cat since I was young and was always held accountable to take care of them! I took a Veterinary Science class in High School and dealt with animals on a daily during this course (Bunnies and Puppies.) I have recently owned hamsters and fish as well that were 100% my responsibility. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have 4 years of paid experience with pet sitting for neighbors. Animals deserve the world and I love to make a difference in their lives even if they don’t understand it :) I am also willing to negotiate pricing based off your animals energy/need for attention/etc. Please reach out to me with any additional questions and I’d be happy to answer! I am currently a college student who is taking online courses to work on getting my degree. Other than daily assignments, I have no other daily commitments and will be available 90% of the time, other than my planned unavailability on my calendar! I have a large front and back yard with plenty of room to play. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat but she keeps to herself and is never a bother. I could easily keep her separated from your pet. If in your home, I will be sure to take all the steps you request and go above and beyond to ensure you and your animals are comfortable.

About: I’ve had experience with rescue animals in my home since my childhood. I began working as a pet sitter and dog walker (babysitter as well!) at 14, which has always been my favorite job! I was able to get a job as a kennel assistant in a veterinary clinic at 16 and worked my way up to a veterinary assistant position. I have dealt with administering medication and other veterinary procedures, and dealing with more special care required animals. I’m a college student taking online and in person courses through the local community college, so I have a pretty open schedule. Working a traditional job in college can be quite stressful, so I’m giving this a try! I have been working in other people’s homes for several years babysitting and pet sitting. I’m happy to clean dishes, take out trash, carry in mail and packages, and any other simple tasks. I always try my best to clean after myself and the fur babies each visit!

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 17. I’ve help family and friends care for pets when I babysit their children. I loved being around the pets and children which is why I use my extra free time to provide attentive and loving care to others babies and fur babies as well! I currently work from home full time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. They would have my attention and care at any time needed as I have more than enough time on my hands. I live in an apartment complex close to the beach, so I am open to caring for them in your home or mine! Whichever works best for you!

About: I have experience in daycare/boarding settings, i have experience with high drive dogs, I do dog sports with my own personal dog so i am pretty confident in my handling skills. I have done years of research on dog related things some including understanding body language, knowing when a dog is uncomfortable or needs to be removed from a situation, what things are good and what are bad, how to use training tools properly if needed, learning the genetics of dog breeds and just over all temperaments that certain breeds have. I grew up on a farm full of dogs and other animals ive always owned dogs especially bully breeds ive been around dogs will all ages, behaviors and sizes my family and friends all know my love for animals and how good i am with them and how much i care about them even when they arent my own. I currently am unemployed, i am a stay at home dog mom and aside from the occasional grocery store run i am at home with my dogs. I will care for your pet to the best of my ability and under any instructions that may be given to me. I will care for your pet like they are my own and keep them as safe as possible while under my care!

About: I’ve never lived a day in my life without having a dog by my side, and I can confidently say that I can’t imagine it any other way. From puppies to our older friends, I love them just like they’re my own. After many years spent with different breeds, sizes, and ages, I am also well versed in pet first aid and common health conditions. I am especially fond of senior dogs and would be honored to care for them. I have recently begun a full time job in Richmond but still petsit often since I truly enjoy it. My schedule best suits check ins with pets in the mornings or evenings. You will never have to worry about how your baby is doing. Because of my own personal (and very anxiety inducing!) experiences with being away from my boy, I am very diligent about keeping pet parents in the loop.

About: I work at the VBSPCA in the kennel so I know dogs pretty well. I currently have a 7 year old dachshund named Leo who’s great with other dogs and cats. My work schedule varies month to month. I can walk dogs or take care of pets in your home if my work schedule allows, or I can board in my apartment (dog friendly dogs/cats or small animals). I also have years of experience medicating dogs, cats, and small animals, and can trim nails on dogs and cats. I work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week at the VBSPCA. It varies each week but I do get a monthly schedule each month. I live in an apartment in Newtown on the 3rd floor. I walk my dog or take him to the dog park when he needs to go out. If your dog has a routine he/she follows, let me know and I can accommodate!
