About: I’ve been pet sitting and house sitting for many years for family, friends, and neighbors. I have experience house sitting, pet sitting, dog walking, and lots of experience with cats. My most recent pet I had for nearly 9 years was a cat I found at the shelter- we became inseparable. I’ve spent the last year traveling the US in my self converted camper van, and I’ve felt that the lifestyle doesn’t suite having a pet at this time- so being able to step in and help others with their animal’s needs truly fills a void in my heart! My most memorable pet sitting gig was for a litter of 8 Dutch Shepherd puppies and their momma. I also have experience with senior pet care and enjoy taking pets out and about if the owners would like. I also clean houses on the side which has exposed me to many different kinds of animals in the home and their varying personalities, needs, and sensitivities. About: I have experience with lots of different breeds ages and sizes. I am comfortable with cats, birds, however, no exotic or dangerous animals etc., as well..they’re in good hands! I love working with animals, so I left my job to do this! To ensure your fur babies are cared for while you are away. About: Most familiar with cat care all the way from little kittens to senior cats. I do dog walks and dropin visits on the Wag app and have a perfect 5 star rating for every job I have done and am looking to expand my clientele here. I absolutely love being able to care for pets and see how happy they are when we go for walks or play fetch. I also dogsit my family's golden doodle who is learning tricks and has anxiety around people. About: I've had at least one pet my whole life. I grew up with an older dog that gave me a safe and comforting feeling. I am well experienced with different personalities and ages. I make sure my pets have been taken care of and also played with, that they feel loved and safe as my first dog had made me feel. I wake up fairly early at 6am to 7am. I make sure my animals are let out and fed soon after. I make sure throughout the day they have been given plenty of time to exercise and play before bedtime. The first thing I would do when first meeting a new friend is to not rush into it. I'd get to know them and their routine especially cats because they don't like their routine changed. They would have all their needs met even if it was specific on time and amounts. I would give additional attention and care for your pet because they experience a lot of stress while their owner is away.
About: I’ve had my dogs for four years now. They were shelter dogs so they required extra love and patience. I didn’t know their background so I had to learn them as they adjusted to me. It was trial and error with food, behavior, and temperament. It taught me patience and allowed me to understand animals more. I work full-time, but my best friend and I have extra time since we have weekends off and we love animals a lot. So we always find and make time for our babies. I have a fenced backyard so animals can run free and have their privacy. I have a water bowl outside for them and inside. We have toys and treats. I’d of course respect anyone’s wishes and do my best to meet their needs in their home.

Even more recently, our Dutch Shepherd had a litter of puppies! Rachel helped watch the pups from when they were just a few days old until they were ready to go home. She handled them, made sure they nursed, mixed their gruel, took them through stimulation protocols, and didn't hesitate to clean up after their messes. Rachel has proven herself capable to take care of tough breeds (i.e., Dutchies and Boxers) at every stage of life from new born pups to senior dogs.
