“Left my pups more happy than she found them! I have two active, large, young dogs that can’t be inside all day. She took great care of them and let them run off some of their energy and get in a bathroom break. Both have a few quirks that necessitate some care rules that Danielle followed to a tee. She always left our home as secure as she found it.”
“Audrey was excellent with last minute booking while we were out of town! She helped fix our litter robot for our 2 cats and gave them some extra treats and attention! I highly recommend her!”

“This was a last-minute need for us and our first time using Rover. And we are very happy that we found Rover. I highly recommend using Anita to watch your puppies. She took the time to come over and meet us and our dogs. She showed up on time every day that we needed her and most importantly our dogs loved her. We are very attached to our dogs and we loved the fact that she would send us pictures after every visit. We will definitely be using rubber and Anita again if you’re looking for a good person to watch your dogs Anita is the one!”

About: What sets me apart is that I’ve been around dogs literally since the day I was born, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I have a strong, genuine love for all pets, and I treat every animal like my own. I’m patient, attentive, and deeply committed to making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while in my care. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine because my summer basketball schedule at University of Central Oklahoma is flexible. I’m staying here all summer, and I wanted a job that lets me be reliable while doing something I genuinely love. Caring for animals brings me joy, and I make time every day to give pets the attention, exercise, and affection they need. When I care for pets in my home or a client’s home I focus on safety, comfort, and keeping their routine consistent. I do not have a fenced yard, so I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise through regular walks and supervised outdoor time. My dog Jersey and I love taking trips to the dog park, which gives dogs a fun and safe place to explore and play. In a client’s home I follow all instructions carefully and make sure each pet feels loved, secure, and well cared for.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life. I have two dogs of my own so I’ll be sure to care for your pets as much as I care for mine. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m usually free in the morning and evening. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. If your pet is crate trained I can provide if needed.

About: I’ve had years of experience with taking care of pets, including my own. I’ve also house and pet sit for my neighbors at times since I was in high school and I love to take care and make animals happy! I’ve also had experience with taking care of a senior dog last year for a family member’s parents. I’m currently doing contract work at Life.Church especially on the weekends, local musician, and will be quitting another job soon. My availability is open anytime Monday-Saturday, I can also do a drop in visit for your pet even on days where I’m busy at church! Just work out a time and let me know when you need and we’ll work out a time that fits both of us and your pet! :) I have a Guinea pig that I take care of everyday, and 2 small dogs that my mom owns, and a bird. I am looking for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting for you type jobs and not boarding visits.

About: I’ve taken care of my own household pets such as dogs, cats, and birds since I was young. Later I worked at a vets office where I handled the boarding and care of a variety of pets, each with different needs and personalities. I also semi-consciously help to care for my families medical sensitive dog. I am currently enrolled in university with breaks throughout the day which would allow me to consistently check in multiple times. While most of my class happen Monday through Thursday, this allows me a full availability Friday through Sunday. I am well versed in caring for medically sensitive animals, having done so for many years. I am also experienced with large dogs as I have one of my own. I have experience with crating and corralling all sorts of pet sizes and personalities.
About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and genuinely love caring for animals. I currently have two friendly, well-socialized dogs of my own and have cared for multiple dogs throughout my life. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs, and I believe they deserve patience, attention, and lots of affection while their owners are away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether your pup loves to play outside, go for walks, or simply relax and get belly rubs, I’ll make sure they feel at home. I have a spacious, secure fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play, and they’ll be treated like part of the family while they’re in my care. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when you’re away, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can see your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Because I live in a quiet country setting with a large fenced yard, many dogs enjoy a calm, low-stress environment with plenty of room to explore and play. I offer flexible availability seven days a week and do my best to accommodate my clients’ schedules, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays whenever possible. Whether you need care for a planned vacation, a last-minute trip, or regular pet care, I’m committed to providing dependable, reliable service. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are always my priority, and I’ll work with you to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I strive to provide a calm, loving, and stress-free environment where they feel safe, secure, and part of the family. I understand how important routines are, so I’ll carefully follow your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special care they may need. In my home, your dog will enjoy a clean, comfortable environment with access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can safely play and explore. My home is equipped with a doggie door, allowing dogs to move freely between the house and my securely fenced yard at their own pace throughout the day. Whether they want to relax indoors, enjoy the sunshine, or stretch their legs outside, they can do so comfortably and safely. When caring for pets in your home, I will treat your home and your pet with the same respect, care, and attention I give my own. I know how important it is to feel connected while you’re away, so I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and communication to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention.
“Emma was such a great kitty sitter! I have a highly social cat and was nervous at the thought of leaving her for the weekend. Emma asked questions and took notes to ensure my little fur baby was well cared for and felt loved while we were away. Emma took pics of kitty every visit which was very reassuring.”

Having Becca watch our dog meant the world. I'm overbearing when it comes to Kash, only because of his medical problems. She keeps in constant contact pretty much and updates every time she came to the house. When I needed her last minute, she stepped up! Kash doesn't take to most people but he took to her and that says alot for me! I hopefully get to continue to use Becca in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
