“Left my pups more happy than she found them! I have two active, large, young dogs that can’t be inside all day. She took great care of them and let them run off some of their energy and get in a bathroom break. Both have a few quirks that necessitate some care rules that Danielle followed to a tee. She always left our home as secure as she found it.”
“Becca is fantastic! She actually plays with my dogs, makes sure they get water, dries them off if they get in their pool, and is very respectful of my home. She definitely goes above and beyond. My dogs love her!”

“Jaylee did a great job of caring for my two kitties. She communicated well so I always knew what was going on each day, both morning & evening. The daily photos I received reassured me and some even made me laugh. I highly recommend Jayleen.”

“Audrey is amazing! She loves Derby and dotes on him like her own. She is always prompt. Having a puppy and being in the field all day as salespeople we have had to adjust some visit times at the last minute. Audrey is always very flexible and accommodating !”

About: I have been a dog parent since I was 8 years old. I believe pets shape us into the humans we are and give us love no one can ever give. My goal is to make sure your pets are taken care of when their parents are in need of assistance. For years I have found different ways to care for my pets even when I can not be home most of the time. I am always able to find time to make sure pets are fed and cared for whenever their owners need me to do that. Making sure pets are comfortable is my priority. I will be coming into their home as a complete stranger. Letting them lead the way is always my go to.
About: Dependable, compassionate pet sitting & dog walking from someone who truly loves animals. I’ll care for your pets with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own—because they’re family, too. ❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work at a nursing home caring for seniors, so compassion, patience, and dependability are already a big part of my day. My work schedule varies, but I have flexibility and am consistently available after 3 PM. I’ll keep my availability updated so you’ll always know which days I’m available to care for your pets. 🐾❤️ Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my priority. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, routines, and any special needs. When caring for pets in your home, I will respect your space and make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. I believe every pet has their own personality, so I take the time to help them feel safe and comfortable with me.

About: I’ve had years of experience with taking care of pets, including my own. I’ve also house and pet sit for my neighbors at times since I was in high school and I love to take care and make animals happy! I’ve also had experience with taking care of a senior dog last year for a family member’s parents. I’m currently doing contract work at Life.Church especially on the weekends, local musician, and will be quitting another job soon. My availability is open anytime Monday-Saturday, I can also do a drop in visit for your pet even on days where I’m busy at church! Just work out a time and let me know when you need and we’ll work out a time that fits both of us and your pet! :) I have a Guinea pig that I take care of everyday, and 2 small dogs that my mom owns, and a bird. I am looking for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting for you type jobs and not boarding visits.

About: I’ve taken care of my own household pets such as dogs, cats, and birds since I was young. Later I worked at a vets office where I handled the boarding and care of a variety of pets, each with different needs and personalities. I also semi-consciously help to care for my families medical sensitive dog. I am currently enrolled in university with breaks throughout the day which would allow me to consistently check in multiple times. While most of my class happen Monday through Thursday, this allows me a full availability Friday through Sunday. I am well versed in caring for medically sensitive animals, having done so for many years. I am also experienced with large dogs as I have one of my own. I have experience with crating and corralling all sorts of pet sizes and personalities.
About: Hello I have grown up around small dogs and larger active dogs. I have a very active family and we are open to walking and homing your dogs for a few days when needed. Feel free to contact me with any questions whatsoever. I currently live in Crescent, Oklahoma, but travel into Edmond daily for work, running, and walking. I’d love to care for your pets and can provide plenty of exercise, attention, and reliable supervision while they’re in my care. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs and will make sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, and supervision throughout their stay.
“She did a great job taking care of all our fur babies (and we have a lot!) She kept us updated, spent time with them and even gave our sick dog her eye drops (which is quite a chore!) I would highly recommend her!”

About: With more than a decade of pediatric nursing experience, I would love to give your pet, and you, a tremendous sense of peace while you’re away. Though I’m accustomed to giving medications to tiny humans, I’m more than capable and willing to give pet medicines too. I currently work full time Monday - Friday but can do drop-ins before or after work as well as on weekends. I have some flexibility of hours as well. Feel free to ask about any scheduling needs and I’ll see if I’m able to accommodate. I would love to care for your pet in their home environment. Not only am I just plain a good human, but as a member of the nursing profession, I am held to high standards.

Having Becca watch our dog meant the world. I'm overbearing when it comes to Kash, only because of his medical problems. She keeps in constant contact pretty much and updates every time she came to the house. When I needed her last minute, she stepped up! Kash doesn't take to most people but he took to her and that says alot for me! I hopefully get to continue to use Becca in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
