“Belinda and James went the extra mile to make our anxious dog feel comfortable. We truley felt like they treated her as one of there own. We looked forward to all of the messages and pictures they sent to us while we were away.”

“Holly watched our little 8 month old schnauzer for 3 days. Our pup hadn't been around any dogs or people and we thought she might be a handful. Holly took great care of her and made her feel like it was her home away from home. We will definitely use Holly again when the need arises and highly recommend her as a dog sitter !”

“Our boys became an extension to Sean and Dianna from the start. They loved playing in the pool and making new friends so much that I don’t think they missed us at all! And I wouldn’t want it any other way!!! We were provided updates of their happenings throughout the day by pictures, videos, and messages. It was so comforting to have absolute peace of mind that my pups were happy. I will 100% be booking with them again.”

“Hailie has boarded our dog Cooper several times and has been very attentive and personable to work with. It's more like a close friend watching our dog rather than "boarding" him. He gets excited to go to her house and she has been flexible and understanding with unpredictable booking conflicts. We will continue to call on Hailie for our Cooper's "babysitting" needs😁”

“Amber was a great dog sitter. She sent pictures and updates of Wrigley everyday and he came home happy and smelling fresh. I know he had a great time with Amber and loved playing with her dogs. I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Emily was a great sitter. We will definitely hire her again. She was easy to communicate with, her house was set up for dogs, and she knows how to care for animals. I highly recommend her!”

“Julia was awesome! Sent lots of pictures, was super quick to respond and gave lots of updates! We met Scout a few days before so our dogs could adjust, and that put us at ease leaving them for so many nights.”

“Erin treats our dog like part of the family; we have peace knowing our dog is loved, happy, and well-cared for when we travel. Highly recommend and am a repeat client”

“Kelsey and her family were so great watching our dog during our extended vacation! Our dog came home happy and exhausted! They were very communicative throughout the stay and sent pictures. They also promptly dropped off and picked up our dog to the minute they said they would. Would definitely trust and leave our dog with Kelsey again!”

“This was our 1st booking with this precious family. They were amazing and cared for our “Ollie” as their own. I received updates with pictures everyday. He loved playing with their sweet dog George and quickly made himself at home. He especially loved snuggles with the children who were so sweet with him. I wish I could leave more than a 5 star review. We can now plan more trips with comfort knowing Ollie will be loved and cared for while we are away.”

“Amber did great with my Audrey. When I picked her up she was clean and happy. It was clear that Audrey had a good time with Amber and her family. If I’m looking for a Rover in this area again, I will definitely use her again.”
“Peyton provided our dog with all she needed- a playmate, nourishment, exercise and most importantly security. Coby looks forward to spending time with Peyton and Oakley again soon.”

About: I’m an animal person through and through. I’ve been around dogs since I was a little boy at the age of 5. I’ve taken care of family, neighbor, and even stray pets/animals and take pride in my ability to get on the good side of any creature. Firm believer that there is no such thing in a bad dog, only misunderstood ones. I have one dog (the handsome black lab), but sometimes have my mother in law’s two dogs over. They’re all well behaved and sociable. I work from home and typically have a lot of spare time in my day to take care of pets. I make sure to take my dog to the park everyday and see to it that he gets proper exercise and will be sure to make sure your dogs get the same. I don’t go anywhere most weekends so I’m available for boarding and anything else more or less all the time. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a big yard and sunroom so plenty of space for play. I have several parks located within ten minutes of me and walking trails nearby too so your pup will never be bored.
“Kayla is the absolute best! She takes such amazing care of my dog and I always know Heidi is in the best, most loving hands while I’m gone. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“I don’t think I could ever trust anyone else with my dogs after Kayla went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my 2 pups while my husband and I went on our honeymoon. She and her husband, Skyler, even brought both my dogs to my wedding and sat in the hot sun so they could be in the wedding and take pictures with us!!! Who else would do that!?? No one!! She gave me updates throughout their stay and sent me pics 3 times a day.. Every. Single. Day. There is no one like her.. seriously, book her now!”

“Allison was great with Ruby. She sent frequent picture updates during the stay, which really helped give me peace of mind, and her communication was extremely fast and responsive throughout the entire process. Ruby seemed very well cared for and happy. I would definitely recommend Allison to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive sitter.”

“Such a great experience with Fortune and her family caring for our dog. They almost spoiled him with the care and attention they provided. Could not ask for better a better stay and can highly recommend Fortune to all.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
