“Tyler did a wonderful job caring for our kitties. I had set up an automatic feeder to give the cats dry food (Tyler was giving them wet food at his visits) and the cats toppled it and knocked it over. The next day, they clawed into the sealed bag of food I’d left out. Both times, Tyler graciously cleaned it up and helped me devise a way to keep the cats from doing it again. He checked in daily and sent occasional photos and videos, which my kids loved. I will definitely use him again!”

About: I got my dog when I was 13 and she was the best thing that happened to me. She was the most loving and caring dog I ever met but lost her to a serious illness and I just love to give out my heart to animals and would love to spend some time with your animals. I am a stay at home mom and the moment. Son is five and in kindergarten and he loves animals just as much as I do but because I’m not completely over losing my dog I haven’t been able to get him a dog for himself. I’m home and have a dog park right now the road from me so keeping dogs a breeze. I always have an eye on the animals. Never feed food other then the kind given. Nothing in the rooms that they would stay in that could hurt them.

About: I have been taking care of dogs pretty much my whole life. I grew up with all sorts of animals in the home. I also took care of my neighbors’ pets. I love playing with dogs, cats, fish, etc. Your pet will be in great hands, I always make sure that all my furry friends are happy and comfortable with me. I will constantly keep in touch with the owners to make sure they do not stress about their pet while they’re away. I also am CPR certified and First Aid certified, if an emergency was to ever occur. Dog/cat's needs and feed schedules can be precise. When I was caring for my aunts Diabetic cat I had to feed half of a 1/4 cup give him his insulin shot then feed the other half, this had to happen at 6am and 6pm exactly. The shot had to go into his opposite hip every time (left morning, right afternoon). I hope to offer your pet similarly the best care imaginable.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
