About: I have worked in the pet industry for almost 8 years and have enjoyed every single minute of it! At my current position, I have been working directly with dogs for 5+ years and plan to work with dogs for years to come! I am currently working part time(mon-fri after 4pm), so that leaves plenty of time during your work day for me to visit with your pet! For morning/afternoon visits, I can drop in any time before 4pm(latest drop in 3:15p), so I would be perfect for those lunch time pick-me-ups that pets love! If you work night shift and need a late night drop in, I'm your choice! I am available all week after 8pm(earliest pm drop in would be 8:15pm) for walks, potty breaks, or late night snacks! I am confident in my leash walking skills and care abilities. I am also well versed in containment and different types of behavior styles in dogs. Whether they are grumpy or happy-go-lucky, I am confident in my ability to provide excellent care.

About: I have been a lifelong lover and owner of multiple dogs. I became a cat lover & owner over 20 years ago. I own 2 cats that are 12 years plus and 2 dogs, a 12 year old lab and a 3 year old lab/anatolian mix who are all part of my family. I have cared for multiple animals for friends and family for many years now. I have done pet/house sitting etc. for dogs as large as a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees, simultaneously. Giving the very best care to my animals and seeing to their health care needs are my top priority. I believe that as a pet owner or caregiver, they deserve the best care possible, as they are totally dependent on us to have their needs met. Pet behavior and nutrition are one of my highest interests and I do constant research on how to improve both. Cuddles and snuggles are always included! I have a flexible schedule with lots of room for daily drop-in visits and walks from 30 to 60 minutes per visit, & house sitting when planned in advance. I also have extensive walking and volunteering experiences at a Humane Society. I’ve had large and medium dogs since I was little. I walked them almost every day and was responsible for medication giving, and treat and play. I would make sure if it was a check in and play that the client had a fenced yard if outside play was needed. If not I would play inside the clients home, such as tug of war and roller ball. When walking dogs, I will always let the dog approach me for the first time, especially if they feel threatened. Then when we both feel comfortable we will go in a walk for as long as the breed specifies needs.

I also make sure she gets taken out on the middle of that day to go potty. She has a play pen and crate set up with some toys, food, water, and a puppy pad in case of accidents. Playtime is the first thing we do when we get home as well. I have a fenced in acre yard. Our back door had a doggy door for small animals to get in and out, as well as a glass door if we don’t want them going outside without us. We make sure everything is picked up off the floor that could potentially harm an animal. Cords and wires are tucked away and doors stay shut unless we are supervising as our dog is still potty training.
